Many believe it is just a matter of time before Christopher Nolan returns to direct another Batman movie, but Batman-on-Film (BoF) has recently come out with a different story. The site claimed that there is a chance the man behind the last two installments of Batman feature series might not be involved in "Batman 3" after all.
Explaining on the reason behind the possibility, BoF claimed that their trusted source has pointed out the tragic death of Joker depicter in "The Dark Knight", Heath Ledger, as the issue that could hinder Nolan from returning. "The death of Heath Ledger in January of 2008 rocked Mr. Nolan hard," BoF wrote. "So hard that Chris was convinced that TDK was going to be it for him and Batman on film."
BoF's source also noted that originally Joker is the villain intended to be featured once again in "Batman 3". While reporting that Nolan may not direct the next movie, the source added that the filmmaker is indeed developing story ideas with brother Jonathan Nolan and writing partner David Goyer.
Despite the so-claimed fact, the source also stressed that "it will be until AT LEAST 2012 before we see the Caped Crusader back [in theaters]. And that is only an EARLY ESTIMATE at best right now. They are even saying it might not be until 2013."
Ever since "The Dark Knight" blew up in the box office and pulled in more than a billion dollar following its July 18 release in the U.S., talks of a follow-up movie have been circulating around. Speculations were hot on who will play the possible villains on "Batman 3", naming several A-listers from Johnny Depp to Angelina Jolie.

His son will take over. Hey guys unknown here. I'm going to spoil somethin' for ya! Yes Real Characters for batman! and Guess what my guess is...? Dr. Hugo Strange! Who out there has read prey? Think about it... In this book, Commish gordon has to take batman down as ordered by the mayor cause Strange made people believe that batman did it so every body hates him in the book(and now you see that at the end of DARK KNIGHT.) Batman lost his car in dark knight and will need a new one(most likely sleeker faster) in the book he was making a new "batcar". strange even gets someone who would be able to fight batman toe to toe Night Scourge. jonny depp as riddler? no! He should play Dr. Strange. Riddler should be in the begining and easly beaten in the first ten min just as a little somethin somethin for the batfans. I could go on and on but I predicted dark knight to the tee. and I'll predict this one.
