Filming her new movie "The Last Song" on Monday, June 15, Miley Cyrus got the chance to shed away her "Hannah Montana" image as shots of her sharing passionate kiss with her on-screen love interest were outed. Through a series of photos, the 16-year-old is seen drenching wet and wearing a skimpy, see-through top while locking lips with Australian actor Liam Hemsworth.
One of the pictures captures the time when Hemsworth lifted the wet Cyrus out of the water and into his arms, while some others expose the two soaking in the water while they were busy kissing and cuddling. All of the photos were shot on the Savannah, Georgia set of the movie and can be seen via Celebrity Mania.
Following the outing of these photos, Cyrus has taken it to her Twitter page to shoot down possible dating rumor from building up. "i am not dating liam! we have a kissing scene on the beach today im just working not a bad job huh? Haha," the actress/singer explained in a post dated Monday.
Adapted from Nicholas Sparks' upcoming novel, "The Last Song" centers its story around a rebellious young woman who is sent to spend the summer with her estranged father. Miley Cyrus stars as the girl, while Liam Hemsworth plays a successful beach volleyball player who has his dream set on the Ivy League. The Disney-produced movie is set to hit theaters across the U.S. on January 8, 2010.

I saw miley in Tybee on 6/18 /09.She was texting.LOL.
we have been down there everyday watching and on the set, altho my girls would love to ba able to look at her or acknowledge ITS MILEY ON SET RIGHT BEHIND THEM, they love it so therefore I love it for them ((you go miley && her daddy still rocks))
they should have picked someone prettier and older to play this girl. usually in movies, older actresses player younger characters, but she just turned 16 and she's playing someone older than her? a little weird...
the filming of this movie has messed up a LOT of beach vacations on Tybee Island. not only that, but miley isn't very considerate of her fan. girls & boys watched for hours on the HOT beach while filming was being done just to catch sight of the diva, not once did she acknowledge their presence. then that evening fans waited for her to make an appearance on the pier to start filming. diva got out of her car, kept her head down & QUICKLY walked past her fans & once again didn't acknowledge their presence. had no use for her before this & even less for her now.
