'Hannah Montana' Preview of 'Can't Get Home to You, Girl'

This time around, Miley promises Lilly that she would be home to celebrate her birthday. Trouble starts when the plane she's suppose to ride on is canceled at last minute.
Miley must find a way to keep her promise, even if it means getting help from unlikely fans of Robby Ray. Meanwhile, Jackson is tired of hearing Lilly whine about Miley's absence, so when Rico arrives with two tickets to a basketball game, he gladly accepts.

'Hannah Montana' Diabetes Episode to Finally Air
September 11, 2009 02:09:39Ten months ago, an episode of "Hannah Montana" failed to go on air because parents are complaining that it doesn't portray diabetes in the right way. Good news comes from Disney Channel that the episode called "Sugar, No Sugar" will eventually make it on air under the new title "Uptight (Oliver's Alright)".
The episode is about Oliver dealing with the diagnosis that he got diabetes. "Our idea was that Oliver had a really bad case of diabetes and he couldn't eat any sugar and then a lot of the people were saying, 'No, people with diabetes can still eat sugar. This is wrong! You're teaching kids wrong messages'," Mitchel Musso who plays Oliver said back then.

Video: Disney Channel's August Preview
August 03, 2009 01:08:09Entering the month of August, Disney Channel refuses to slow down with its premieres. Through its new month promo, the network is previewing the new episodes of its prime series such as "Hannah Montana" and "Wizards of Waverly Place".
There will be a special airing of "Hannah" called "Oh Brother-a-thon" that focuses on none other than Miley's brother, Jackson. "Wizards" will also offer the remaining two episodes of a four-part saga, "Wizards Vs. Vampires" which will run through August 14. All the programs will cumulate to the weekend premiere of "Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie" on August 28.

In "Hannah", Oliver lands his dream internship at the K-TEEN radio station working with popular DJ Gary Green, but when Green takes a sudden leave, Oliver's responsibilities extend beyond his wildest dreams, to on-air duties. Miley offers to help, and the new radio team, Smiley Miley and Smokin Oken, become an overnight sensation. But soon, Miley finds it hard to juggle her Hannah Montana commitments and keep her promise to help Oliver.

'Hannah Montana' and 'Sonny with a Chance' Renewed
June 02, 2009 09:06:36Disney Channel has made some announcements regarding its high-rated shows, renewing both "Hannah Montana" and "Sonny with a Chance". The former, which is starring Miley Cyrus, is up for a fourth season while the latter, which is the starring vehicle for Demi Lovato, will enter the second season.
To keep things fresh, producers of "Hannah" will make several necessary changes. "Miley and the producers have proposed a change of setting for Season Four that will provide the catalyst for wonderful new characters and further expand the storytelling opportunities," the network said in a statement Monday, June 1.

Promo of 'Hannah Montana' March Episodes

In the episode, Hannah says that she dislikes carrots on the "Mack and Mickey" show so her fans stop eating them. She returns to the program to explain herself, but ends up making things worse. Meanwhile, Jackson and Oliver model for a brochure but find out that they weren't chosen to model for the reason they thought they were chosen.

David Archuleta Confirms 'Hannah Montana' Cameo
February 25, 2009 09:02:29It has been confirmed by David Archuleta himself that he will appear as a guest star in an episode of "Hannah Montana". The runner up for "American Idol" seventh season raved about his experience filming his cameo in L.A. last week for the series starring Miley Cyrus.
"It was another thing I was really nervous about and wasn't really sure about at first," he wrote on his blog live from Virginia. "However, once I got there I had a great time! Everyone there was fun and Miley was a cool person to hang out with. She has a lot of energy and is really funny haha. Getting to watch how they rehearsed the scenes for the show was really cool too."

Oliver is upset when he doesn't make the band he's auditioned for, and to make matters worse, Hannah lands a role in an upcoming movie, causing Oliver to feel even more insecure. To show Oliver what an understanding friend she is, Miley decides to blow the next audition with the director, Rob Reiner, by acting like a total diva, but her plan backfires when Rob is impressed by Hannah's acting skills.

Man Sues Disney for Stealing 'Hannah Montana' Idea
January 29, 2009 04:01:58Almost three years since the premiere of "Hannah Montana" on Disney Channel, a man comes out suing the network because he claims the show was born out of his ideas. Richard Fronduto, according to TMZ, filed a lawsuit on Wednesday, January 28 in L.A. County Superior Court to demand the right to a credit.
Fronduto said that he came up with the inspiration to have a story of a girl leading a double life, as an ordinary teenager and a pop star, in 1990. He claimed that he wrote the script titled "The Secret Life of Sindy" which later was renamed to "The Family Business". His agent forwarded the idea to Disney and even got a favorable reply through a two-hour pilot order. However, nothing was settled between Fronduto and Disney but the network came out with "Hannah Montana" in 2006.

Online, the mouse house has announced that it is ordering more episodes of the Miley Cyrus' teen drama series for the current season. Still, the network has yet to specify how many new episodes would be shot.
"Hannah Montana" has begun airing its third season, starting on November 2. Nonetheless, the comedy series also starring Miley's father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, is still in production. Originally, it had been slated to run for 24 episodes and to end in May 2009.

'Hannah Montana' Episode Canceled From Airing on Disney
November 05, 2008 02:11:32"No Sugar, Sugar", the next episode of "Hannah Montana" which was scheduled to air this week, has been pulled from Disney Channel. The series' spokesperson has confirmed that the episode's pull back is due to parents' complaints regarding the story line of a teenager who suffers diabetes.
The spokesperson gives a statement to New York Daily News about the matter, saying "During the scriptwriting stage of the 'Hannah Montana' episode in question, the matter of depicting a character with diabetes was reviewed by our Standards and Practices executives who consulted with medical experts to inform the story and ensure that it was told responsibly."
