First Trailer for Miley Cyrus' 'The Last Song' Arrives
November 18, 2009 09:11:43Walt Disney Pictures has released the first trailer for "The Last Song", a movie adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' novel with the same title. Making its way out via Yahoo! Movie, the more than two-minute clip gives a preview to the drama movie starring Miley Cyrus as Veronica "Ronnie" Miller.
Ronnie is described as a rebellious teenager who has lived separated from her father, Steve Miller, since her parents got divorced. Ronnie and her brother Jonah Miller are later sent by their mother to spend the summer with their father in Tybee Island, the small Georgia beach town.

November 17, 2009 03:11:46Another sneak peek at Disney movie "The Last Song" has been shared through some new stills. Posted on The Last Song Facebook page Monday, November 16, the three images give a look at the leading stars, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth.
In a picture, Miley is captured donning a purple dress while standing on a stairway. She is also seen sitting next to her co-star, Liam, in another image. The last photo, meanwhile, is much like previously released on-set pictures which feature the twosome getting cozy on the side of a beach.

Miley Cyrus' 'The Last Song' Pushed Back
September 24, 2009 02:09:11"The Last Song", an upcoming drama movie toplined by "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus, won't arrive in theaters as planned. This Disney movie has recently undergone schedule changes and is moved from the original release schedule on January 8, 2010 to a new date in April the same year.
MTV News reported that the shifting of the release date has been confirmed by a representative for the 16-year-old actress as well as a statement from Disney. "The date is now April 2," the rep revealed the new date for the film's theatrical release. "We found a better release date than January for it. It will open Easter weekend/spring break."

In an interview with MTV at the "VH1 Divas" red carpet, the 16-year-old actress/singer spilled a little bit about it saying, "Come to my tour! You're gonna see a sneak preview. I do a song for it."
"I changed a lot when I was in Tybee Island [Georgia, filming 'Last Song']," the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus further gushed on why she is excited to present the preview. "I feel like art really does imitate life. So just showing this movie, I feel like I'm really showing a part of my growth as a person as well. June 16, 2009 03:06:48Filming her new movie "The Last Song" on Monday, June 15, Miley Cyrus got the chance to shed away her "Hannah Montana" image as shots of her sharing passionate kiss with her on-screen love interest were outed. Through a series of photos, the 16-year-old is seen drenching wet and wearing a skimpy, see-through top while locking lips with Australian actor Liam Hemsworth.
One of the pictures captures the time when Hemsworth lifted the wet Cyrus out of the water and into his arms, while some others expose the two soaking in the water while they were busy kissing and cuddling. All of the photos were shot on the Savannah, Georgia set of the movie and can be seen via Celebrity Mania.

Miley Cyrus Heading to New Nicholas Sparks' Adaptation
September 17, 2008 01:09:35"Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus will be teaming up once again with Disney. According to Variety, the 15-year-old starlet has been tapped by the mouse house to topline in an untitled film, "Untitled Nicholas Sparks/Disney Project", which will be developed by bestselling author Nicholas Spark to be her starring-vehicle.
Reportedly, this movie project which plot is kept under wraps is aimed to aid Miley in her transition to an older role like what "A Walk to Remember" has done to pop singer-turned-actress Mandy Moore in 2002. It will be produced by Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot from Disney-based Offspring Entertainment, while Miley's mother Tish Cyrus will serve as the executive producer.

I was on Tybee Island when they begin filming it just a couple of weeks ago. I thought the island had put up a miniture Coney Island from Nyc... I was trasveling with my great neice and my great Uncle who is 90 we werent allowed to go to the peir but my niece was excited about seeing it all She was going to try out for an extra but our vacation was coming to an end. I couldn't beleive all the commotion on such a small Island..how many bodyguards does one 15 year old need?

I saw the trailer on YouTube but some one taped it so it's kinda bad but I was able to watch it and guess some of the words well mostmof it actually. I sit an read the book repeatedly for four months and I'm still tryin to figure out how bad they'll devour this amazingly incredible book. Nicholas Sparks, one of the best, if not the best, romantic novelist of all time, is having his book, freakin four hundred page book, degrated by puttin Miley Cyrus as the lead character an slappin a Disney label on the cover...please...my images were ruined as I slowly read and cursed under my breath...I guess I'll just have to hope..

In fact it has nothing to do with that show,and if You would read the book you would now what it's about. Also i think miley will do a really good job with this role,I'm not a really big fan of hers, but give her a chance!
