A photo of Dakota Fanning in her "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" character has been making round this week. She is pictured on the set, wearing a black robe and donning a very pale make-up. Her character is named Jane, one powerful member of a vampire coven in Italy.
Jane has the ability to create illusions of pain, which makes her feared by other vampires. She is part of the Volturi family who would later have a factor in the decision to make Bella a vampire. Other members of the royalties are played by Michael Sheen, Jamie Campbell Bower, and Cameron Bright.
A sequel to highly-popular movie "Twilight", "New Moon" is based on the second book by Stephenie Meyer and will hit the U.S. theaters on November 20. This time, Edward will leave Bella abruptly, leaving her unguarded from outside threat. While devastated, Bella is comforted by her growing friendship with Jacob Black.

i think that they shouldn't have got someone as famous as Dakota to play Jane - as...because of her image...you say you don't think she'd hurt a fly etc... they should have got someone who has less of an image so that it was more believable ----> still can't wait for N.M.
Yeah, why do people hate kristen? She's got the most difficult part to play and she plays it exceedingly well. Dakota is perfect, for the Jane part. Its her chance to show her versatility and i think she can pull this off. And if you hate it, suck it up. I imagined her to be so more solomn or placid looking. Someone actually gave me the idea of Juno Temple playing the role and she has just the sort of face that could make you kind of scared. It might work though, who knows. Love all the other cast members especially Rob and Taylor = HOTTNESS!!!
