Wedding bells might ring in the near future for longtime couple, Ryan O'Neal and , as he has expressed his willingness to marry her. Asked by Entertainment Tonight if he has any thoughts on making his union with the ailing actress official, he says, "I would do that." And though she is "still a little bit hesitant. I'm working though, I'm working," he continues.

Despite his strong belief that he can finally settle down with Farrah, Ryan claims their past love relationships may have prevented them from walking down the aisle. "You know she's been married, I've been married," he explains. "She's said, 'we have a good thing.' But I said 'you said that 30 years ago, shouldn't there be a sea change?' Maybe there is, you never know."

Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett have been romantically linked since 1980s. They have one son together named Redmond James O'Neal, who currently is imprisoned for a violation of his parole stemming from drug charges. Ryan himself has been standing by Farrah's side during her long battle with anal cancer.

i was so amazed on what she went through to to make everyone understand that we must find a cure for the terrible disease and to keep fighting until they find a cure for all types of cancer. She is such a talented actress and most of all America is very lucky to have her in our lives. My prayers are with her, Ryan and her family.

I saw Farraws story and was so moved. I believe that story with insight on our own humanity and love to all people is her greatest work ever. Her life has touched us all. Her courage and willingness to show us the most vulnerable side of any human as we face our own fear and pain has touched me in a way that I will never forget as long as I live. Although not perfect, I am glad she had true love with Ryan O neal and her beautiful son. The world tenderly holds Farrahs and Ryans heart in our hands and in Gods hands for sure.
