Already signed to Interscope and DAS Communications, Ltd, Taylor Momsen eyes to release a debut album this fall with her band The Pretty Reckless.
Taylor Momsen has become one of Interscope Records' artists. "Taylor has an incredible presence and when she decided to make Interscope her musical home we were thrilled," Jimmy Iovine, Chairman of the label says.
Jenny Humphrey of "Gossip Girl" herself also shares the same excitement regarding her joining Interscope. "I'm so excited to be among the talented and respected artists signed to Interscope Records. Partnering with Jimmy Iovine is an honor," she states.
Now that she has found a home to release a studio album, Taylor and her band The Pretty Reckless plan to drop their debut album this fall. Recording new songs in Los Angeles, Nashville and New York, Taylor who serves as the band's vocalist shares song-writing credits for the album with the likes of Toby Gad (Stacy Ferguson a.k.a Fergie, Beyonce Knowles), James Michael (Alanis Morissette, Motley Crue) and Kato Khandwala (Paramore, Morningwood).
Beside being signed to Interscope, Taylor Momsen has also sealed a deal with management company DAS Communications, Ltd. "Rock singer/songwriters like Taylor don't come around very often. Taylor is an artist with a genuine voice and a unique point of view. DAS is proud to add her to the list of superstar artists that have been managed by our company," David Sonenberg, President of DAS notes in regard of the deal.
While waiting for her album to hit the stores, fans can catch Taylor's live performances with her band as a supporting act for The Veronicas. Taylor and The Pretty Reckless will travel across America until June 30. Details on their upcoming shows can be found on Interscope's press release.
