In the spoof video for the Oscars nominated films, Jimmy Kimmel stars an aging backwards superhero who rides a tricycle.
Participating in the hype of the 2009 Oscars which has just been wrapped up on Sunday, February 22, is a special edition of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". Dubbed "Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards", the show was broadcast starting 12.05 P.M. The special event also had Gibson talking about the late Ledger. The actor said, "I shoulda called him years before. I didn't really know the ins and outs of what was up with him, but I don't believe it was just an accident. Maybe I coulda called him. When you see sort of an impending tragedy or something that might go wrong, it just felt like I should do something about it." He also made time commenting about Britney Spears whom he called to have dinner with during her tumultuous life.
Kimmel who during the Oscars, aired a commercial of the show that features him and Tom Cruise, also gave a behind the scene featurette.
