Adam Lambert Replaced by Allison Iraheta on 'Kimmel'
December 03, 2009 09:12:45ABC is still not ready to make peace with Adam Lambert for it has just canceled a scheduled appearance of him. The "American Idol" graduate who set tongue wagging with his sexually-charged performance at the recent American Music Awards (AMAs) will not show up on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!".
Adam was due to perform on Jimmy Kimmel's talk show on December 17 but it was suddenly canceled on Wednesday, December 2. Kimmel has updated his Twitter saying that Adam's "Idol" pal Allison Iraheta will perform in his place. A rep of ABC however would not confirm whether the axing has anything to do with AMAs, simply saying "We decided not to move forward with the booking at this time."

November 19, 2009 09:11:30"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" gets the privilege of being the only talk show to have all three principal cast of "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" on the same seat. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have taped an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's talk show last week and the segment will be aired on Friday, November 20.
During the interview, Robert couldn't stop laughing and Taylor explained to Jimmy his bulking up regime. The host asked Taylor about the transformation from "Twilight" to "New Moon" and the actor said that the hardest part was actually not the work out but the eating. As he had said a couple of times, he had to "put something" in his mouth every two hours in order to gain mass.

Titled "Kate is Enough: The Kate Gosselin Story", the so-called trailer to a TV movie sees Kathy wearing a wig that resembles Kate's signature hairstyle and donning a bikini that reveals eight labor scars.
Kathy mocks the media headlines back in June when Kate was caught on camera refusing her daughter Mady a drink. In the sketch, 'Mady' hands her an empty glass and 'Kate' takes it to her eyes, saying "wa wa... here drink the tears of fame."

Her TV movie, "Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie" was premiering on Disney Channel on the same night and her music video for "Falling Down" was coming right after the movie.
After interviewing Shaquille O'Neal, Jimmy Kimmel welcomed Selena to the couch, introducing her as the girl who "owes it all to a dinosaur named Barney". This literally became a subject as later, Jimmy put on a tape of young Selena dancing and singing on the kids show. When asked whether she was embarrassed by it, Selena said "No, I embrace it. I'm always made fun of, [but] other than that, I'm good."

These celebrities will engage in interviews with host Jimmy Kimmel while signature comedy pieces are played throughout the special. Eminem in particular will be in a comedy segment with Jimmy who poses as the rapper's next prodigy.

In a segment of the TV show, he is shown playing basketball with the host, Jimmy Kimmel, doing some freestyle, stopping for a bit of "helium" as well as making love to the ball.
The appearance of the rapper is part of the television event that kicks off Eminem-featuring episodes. On Friday, May 15, the rapper will hold a late-night musical performance at 12:05 A.M. ET/PT, following it with two other performances on Tuesday, May 19 and Friday, May 22. The latest date features two live songs from Detroit according to the press release.

Apt to its title, the spoof is the satire collision of the Oscars nominated films "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and "The Dark Knight". Started with scenes taken from "Curious", Jimmy Kimmel which becomes the star, 'shares' a screen with Heath Ledger and Cate Blanchett among others.

Mel Gibson Tapped for 'Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards'
February 21, 2009 01:02:27"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" will once again take part in the biggest celebration in movie world, the Oscars. The talk show hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will air the fourth special episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards" and to revamp it up, they have invited both Mel Gibson and Robin Thicke this year.
Gibson, a multiple Academy Awards winner, will do some talking with Kimmel while Thicke is to fill out the music performer slot. Another big Hollywood star is also due to appear on the segment, presumably the identity is only revealed after the ceremony is held on Sunday, February 22. The mysterious star "will make a cameo appearance in a special promo with Jimmy to air during the Academy Awards telecast."
