Two Intense 'Dark Knight' TV Spots Unveil More Action

In the wake of the release of second "" trailer, two brand new television spots of the superhero flick have emerged on the net. The two half-a-minute long videos reportedly have been broadcast on Sunday, May 11 night during the airing of "Survivor: Fans vs. Favorites" season finale.

Bringing more action sequences closer to the audience, the two TV spots are filled with high octane explosive scenes cut off from the movie as well as an in depth look into the storyline and the wickedness of Joker. Though Batman's fans have gotten their first share of seeing Harvey "Two Face" Dent through the new trailer of the forthcoming "", they haven't really been able to see the bad side of this particular Batman's arch nemesis. To fill in the gap and also answer the curiosity on the character, its depicter sat down with LA Times to give out hints on the iconic "Two Face".

Noting that his character has been put tightly under wraps, Eckhart excitedly exposed bits of what to expect from Batman's closest ally-turned-foe. "That's right, people don't really know yet," said the 40-year-old actor. "I can tell you that, basically, when you look at Two-Face, you should get sick to your stomach. Being the guy under all that, well, that was a lot of fun for me. It's like you would feel if you met someone whose face had pretty much been ripped off or burned off with acid. I can't talk about it beyond that because I don't want to give away too much of the plans by Chris (Nolan)."

For those who have patiently waited for the official second trailer of the highly anticipated Batman latest installment, "", to come out on the net, Warner Bros. Pictures have finally let out the much wanted footage on its website. Taking longer time to view than the first trailer, the second one offers much revealing look into the superhero flick as it exposes Harvey Dent's character for the first time.

Opened with a helicopter shot of Batman posing as stone-gargoyle on top of a building high above Gotham City, the footage continues showing the dark superhero as he leaps from the place he stands. As the trailer goes on, the haunting voice of Joker saying, "Where do we begin?", can be heard on the background and then images of Lieutenant Gordon and lawyer Harvey Dent flash on-screen. Though this trailer still generally focuses on Joker and his mischievous plans, it also give up glimpses of Dent and his important part in the movie.

Instead, it only unveiled another hint at the supposed release date of the video footage.

As the clock behind the twelve U.S. presidents struck zero, the viral game, which asked fans to follow the instruction to uncover the trailer, directed the fans to a new domain entitled "Happy Trails". In it, fans can see a clipping of The Gotham Times' advertising section in which a model can be seen saying "Now I Can Watch Moving Pictures Whenever I Want!" and a big footnote mention "All New Model Available This Sunday".

As the promotional campaign of the highly anticipated superhero film "" hyphened, a series of the so-called international posters of the Warner Bros. Pictures' tidbit has been revealed online. Some sites claimed that the five new images are the international posters for the Christopher Nolan-directed movie, whereas Yahoo! Behind each picture, there is a display of a city name and a countdown clock, which is set to strike zero at 5:30 P.M. on April 28, accompanied with an instruction to be followed. In the instruction, it can be seen that there are two words written in capital letters, that is "TRAIL" and "ER", which possibly can be concluded that the instruction provided may lead to the uncovering of the new trailer.

Warner Bros. Pictures allegedly has revealed the new trailer of the highly anticipated superhero flick "" earlier than its schedule at the New York Comic Con on April 19. Through the earlier screening, it is revealed that the trailer exposes Batman's friend-turned-archenemy, Harvey 'Two Face' Dent.

Shooting process on "" in Chicago got interrupted yesterday, April 24, as fire erupted on a local vacant post office used by the crew from the movie to film a heist scene involving The Joker's gang.

District Fire Chief Jose Santiago revealed that insulation inside the building's "very old ventilation system" caught fire shortly before 11:30 a.m., and had nothing to do with the filming. At last the details of "" sequel have been unveiled. Warner Bros. Pictures' President of Production Jeff Robinov has just made an announcement on Monday, August 1 concerning the project. Titled "", this second installment of the superhero will still be under the direction of Christopher Nolan with reprising his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

Apart from Bale, has also been confirmed to be in the cast as The Joker. Jonathan Nolan will pen the scripts based on a story by Christopher Nolan and David Goyer while Emma Thomas also Charles Roven seat as the film's producers. Filming production is planned to begin by early 2007 to meet a 2008 release.
