Audio stream of My Chemical Romance covering Bob Dylan's track 'Desolation Row' for upcoming movie 'Watchmen' has come out.

AceShowbiz - My Chemical Romance's cover version of Bob Dylan's 1965 song called "Desolation Row" has arrived. The track was exclusively recorded for the soundtrack of forthcoming blockbuster movie "Watchmen", which stars Malin Akerman, Billy Crudup and Jeffrey Dean Morgan among others.

In regard of the band's contribution to the film's soundtrack, frontman Gerard Way says "there have been other offers to do this kind of thing, and usually the timing always made it impossible." Then he adds, "But when the chance came to do a cover of one of my favorite artists, Bob Dylan, for a film version of my favorite work of fiction of all time we had to jump at the chance."

Beside listing a song from My Chemical Romance, "Watchmen" soundtrack album will also have Leonard Cohen's 1984 hit single "Hallelujah" and Bob Dylan's 1964 classic "The Times They Are A-Changin'". The LP is due for U.S. release on March 3.
