After the theatrical '', said that they will be back to their old sound because they missed "being a rock band". The band are set to release a new album this year and revealed that they have it channeled towards "punk rock" direction.

In an interview with NME.com, frontman Gerard Way said that the album which would be their fourth, will be "stripped down" but won't rule out "crazy ideas on the next albums or do something even crazier". The band had played a new material since November last year but won't give it a name yet for fear that "kids get pissed off" when the title is eventually changed.

A 'flatline' has been put on the official website of 's alter ego band, The Black Parade, indicating that MCR members have put the side project to an end.

The Black Parade was a fictional group that MCR created to support the album under the same name that was released in October 26. TheBlackParade.com now puts a flatline graphic that is commonly used as medical term to indicate death and the phrase BPM 00.

After bassist Mikey Way took his break from earlier this year, it's guitarist Frank Iero's turn to take his. Iero is forced to miss the band's U.K. tour that will soon end on Saturday, November 17, due to a family illness.

The band that is comprised of five personnel is now down to 3 original members since drummer Bob Bryar also took a rest after a wrist injury earlier this year. Commenting on this vocalist Gerard Way said, "We've been through a lot of stuff on this record, dealt with life situations and stuff. Ultimately it's gonna be a little different and look a little different, but we're ready for this."

Following the two sold out shows at Wembley Stadium, has arranged a unique line-up to support their act. Not only coming from rock genre, Muse selected their favorite musicians such as Mexican acoustic duo Rodrigo Y Gabriela and rapper The Streets.

The musicians and crew that were supporting the bands began vomiting and had to be rushed to the hospitals on April 28. The next day's show in State College, PA immediately was cancelled leaving the Colombus, OH gig on May 1 doubtful. In the end the Colombus night was postponed instead of cancelled to May 2. For that, Pittsburgh, PA had to give up its slot.

After announcing the first leg of tour that roams in United States, is ready for not only second leg but also third. The tour, which is named "The Black Parade World Tour", is held in support of the band's third album "" (2006).

The second leg will hit the stadiums and stages in Europe region. In this quarter, the band will kick off from Plymouth, UK on March 20 and disembark in Copenhagen, Denmark on April 10. Some stops in between include Dublin-Ireland, Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg -Germany, Paris- France, and Malmo-Sweden.

Drummer's Illness Forced My Chemical Romance to Cancel Shows

It is sad to say that drummer's illness has forced to cancel two live shows over the weekend. The rock band has to unfortunately postpone shows scheduled in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on Saturday and Syracuse, New York, on Sunday, after drummer Bob Bryar was hospitalized because of complications from an injury he sustained last month while filming a music video.

Bryar was admitted to hospital shortly after the group's VMAs performance late on Thursday night. He was kept in hospital over the weekend for tests and further treatment. "We got some really bad news in the past 48 hours. As a result of complications with a previous injury, Bob ended up in the hospital with a staph infection," a statement posted by the band on its Web site read.
