Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgard, and Christine Baranski have all landed roles in Phyllida Lloyd's adaptation of musical play "Mamma Mia!."

AceShowbiz - More good talents are coming for "Mamma Mia!." The Hollywood Reporter has brought in news informing that Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgard, and Christine Baranski have all been added into the cast of the flick, which has already had Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, and Amanda Seyfried in.

A joint production of Littlestar and Playtone, the musical romantic comedy is the adaptation of the popular ABBA musical which focuses on a bride-to-be (Seyfried) raised by a single mother (Streep) who locates three men who might be her father and invites them to her wedding. Firth and Skarsgard are said to portray two of the three possible fathers while Baranski plays a plastic surgery-loving party girl in her forties who is bossy and boozy.

Filming is scheduled to start June this year to run through October using locations in London and Greece for a targeted July 18, 2008 release under Universal Pictures banner. Meanwhile, Phyllida Lloyd is set to direct from script by Catherine Johnson, who wrote the show's book with Playtone's Gary Goetzman and Littlestar's Judy Craymer both serving as producers.
