Nominees Revealed for The 20th Annual Kids' Choice Awards' Movie Slots

"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" landed top prize nomination of Favorite Movie with its star Johnny Depp earning a nod in Favorite Male Movie Star category.

An award event in which winners are voted by the children who watch Nickelodeon cable channel, the Kids' Choice Awards has finally unveiled its lineup of nominees for film categories as it is held for the twentieth time this year.

Competing for the title of Favorite Male Movie Star are four well-known talents of Jack Black, Johnny Depp, Adam Sandler, and Will Smith while those like Halle Berry, Dakota Fanning, Keira Knightley, and Sarah Jessica Parker all scoring in the Female side.

Four other names, on the other hand, are recognized for their voice acting and so, have been submitted in Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie nomination. Arranged in alphabetical order, they are Ashton Kutcher of "Open Season", Queen Latifah of "Ice Age: The Meltdown", Julia Roberts of "The Ant Bully" and Bruce Willis of "Over the Hedge."

Furthermore, "Season" and "Hedge" also gain a slot each in another category of Favorite Animated Movie alongside strong contenders "Cars" and "Happy Feet" which both have proven to be blockbuster features with total domestic gross over $190 million. Meanwhile, vying for the top prize of Favorite Movie are "Big Momma's House 2", "Click", "Night at the Museum", and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest."
