Demi Lovato Debuts New Look With Shorter Hair

Demi Lovato showed off new hair style to her 12 million Twitter followers on Tuesday, March 12. The self-taken photo shows her wearing a denim jacket and sporting shorter hair. The caption of the photo read, "New hair!!!"

The 20-year-old singer looks adorable and fresh in her new hairdo. She now has shoulder-length hair completed with side-swept bangs which adorns her face. The new style garnered reactions from her fans. A fan commented, "Oh my God you look so cute." Another wrote, "You're so perfect. I love your new hair :)."

Axl Rose to Be Sued by Injured Fan

A fan of Guns N' Roses is planning on taking a legal action against the band's lead singer, Axl Rose. Darren Wright, the fan, claimed he was injured by a microphone Rose threw into the crowd during the band's gig on Saturday, March 9.

Wright said his front teeth were damaged after the incident at Perth Arena. He already started legal proceedings for damages to cover the cost of his dental treatment, which he said would cost $5000 and take months to complete.

Shannon Miller Expecting Second Daughter

Former gymnast Shannon Miller and husband John Falconetti will be parents of a baby girl. The 36-year-old mom got to know the sex of her unborn baby on an episode of "The Doctors" which was broadcast on Wednesday, March 13. Miller and Falconetti are already parents to a 3-year-old son, Rocco.

Before getting ultrasound, Miller said that she did not have special preference on the sex of their baby. "If we get a boy we have lots of clothes and toys, and I think we feel like we have the boy thing down at this point. If we get a girl, I'm going to be a little intimidated but it's going to be fantastic." However, it seemed that her son Rocco wanted a sister. "I think Rocco wants a girl. It'll be the first girl grandchild on my side of the family," she concluded.

New trailer for "Scary Movie 5" is out along with a new poster. While the new poster features the main characters, the new trailer focuses on a couple with two kids whose house is haunted. The family experiences spiritual activities in the house and tries to get rid of the spirits.

The new trailer shares some new scenes, like the one set in a cabin where two little girls suddenly appear in front of two men and one of the girl bites one of the men. Another one is a scene where Ashley Tisdale is accompanied by Erica Ash to come to a house where they try to find a book that can stop the evil spirits.

Bob Dylan has just added another feather on his illustrious cap as he gets voted as one of this year's inductees into the American Academy of Arts and Letters. The pop music and cultural icon breaks barriers by being the first rock star to be named to the elite, century-old academy of music, literature and visual arts, joining previous inductees as brilliant filmmakers Woody Allen and Martin Scorsese and Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep.

"The board of directors considered the diversity of his work and acknowledged his iconic place in the American culture," academy executive director Virginia Dajani explained the choice. "Bob Dylan is a multi-talented artist whose work so thoroughly crosses several disciplines that it defies categorization."

Julianne Hough Lost $100k Jewelry Given by Ryan Seacrest

Julianne Hough's jewelry was stolen Friday night, March 8 in Hollywood when she was visiting a friend in an apartment complex. TMZ reports the missing gems, worth $100,000, were gifts from her TV producer/radio DJ boyfriend, Ryan Seacrest.

The former "Dancing with the Stars" regular drove a Mercedes and parked it in the lot, leaving three pieces of jewelry inside the car. When she's back a few hours later, her car's door was allegedly wide open and the inside was ransacked.

For the second night of his weeklong guesting on the top-rating show dubbed as "Timberweek", the 32-year-old singer delivered his lethal combo of vocals and funny antics via his 2006 hit. His a cappella performance of the "FutureSex/LoveSounds" album track with Fallon and friends closed out the show.

'The Borgias' Unleashes 'A New Pope' Promo for Season 3

While the Catholic Church has just elected Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio as Pope Francis in the papal election conclave, Showtime releases a promo for "The Borgias" season 3 aptly titled "A New Pope". It focuses on key character Rodrigo Borgia/ Pope Alexander VI, who is not really new as he has assumed the role since the first season of the show.

Jeremy Irons' Pope Alexander VI is described as a man who's not afraid to tackle all issues, such as diplomacy, morality and family values. Ironically, at the same time the scenes show him comitting sins, including burning a man alive, leading a war and having threesome.

A source claimed to Us Weekly that Harry dropped the hurtful comment when he came back on a yacht with Taylor after leaving her alone following a fight. "I went to get drinks without you because you're so f**king boring," he allegedly said, prompting her to storm off herself.

T.I. Debuts Short Film for 'Addresses'

Apparently, the usual music video is not enough for T.I.'s track "Addresses", as he drops a seven-minute short film for it. The Clifton Bell-directed and Lisa Cunningham-produced clip from Grand Hustle Films and Atlanta Records stars the hip-hop recording artist/actor along with other Grand Hustle artists Shad Da God and Big Kuntry among many others.

Just like what he did with a previous track "Trap Back Jumpin' ", the Grand Hustle boss releases a short film to accompany another of his "Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head" track. The Ghettonerd Cinema production shows Tip driving frantically to get to his Hustle Gang members who are hanging out in what the clip mentions as "somewhere in the A, Pretty Ken's studio."

NBC Revives Singing Competition 'The Sing-Off'

"The Sing-Off", the a cappella reality competition series that aired on NBC, is coming back for a fourth season. The Peacock has agreed to bring it back after the show wrapped up its third-season run in November 2011 to modest ratings. Producer Deke Sharon confirmed the news himself, saying, "I am happily able to confirm that casting is going on. The show is back!"

Confirmation of the show's return can also be seen in its official website. With a big banner that reads, "The Ultimate A Capella Competition Returns to NBC", the site displays official audition schedule, listing four cities including Chicago, Nashville, L.A. and New York.

'Amazing Spider-Man 2' Dubbed New York's Biggest Film Production

"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" which is filmed completely in New York is touted by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo as the state's largest movie production. It is estimated to create 3,500 jobs and result in the casting of 11,000 extras across the state. An additional 250 crew members and a few hundred extras are expected to be hired.

The Gov. says the production "could help generate new jobs and economic activity both upstate and downstate." Gary Martin, exec at Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group, agrees, saying the tax incentive program lured them to the state. "Plain and simple, this is a win-win for the state and our production," he says.

This attention is just for a short season of my life, so I'm not going to get too stressed out about it," he said. However, Sean admitted that he would love to have their wedding soon, for obvious reason. "I'm a guy. I'd go to the courthouse tomorrow if she'd let me." he told PEOPLE.

Luke Bryan Lands First No. 1 Album on Billboard 200

Luke Bryan's compilation "Spring Break...Here to Party" debuts at the top of the album chart this week, giving the country singer his first ever Billboard 200 No. 1 album. Its impressive 150,000 units sales was enough to beat the 72,000 total posted by the late Jimi Hendrix's posthumously-released new album "People, Hell and Angels".

Both debuts duplicate previous records set by the King of Pop, Michael Jackson with his "This Is It" album. Bryan's album is the latest compilation by a single artist to reach the top of the charts, the last one before it being MJ's "This Is It" soundtrack, which also debuted at No. 1 when it was first released.

Seth Rogen wrote, "There's also white smoke coming out of my office, but nobody seems that excited about it. #pope." Craig Ferguson said that the new pope would "replace [Jay] Leno on NBC at 1130." Seth MacFarlane contributed as well, saying, "To signal the conclave had not reached a decision, they released black smoke from a chimney and emptied 400 styrofoam cups into the street."

'Django Unchained' Gets Approval to Screen in China

Sony Pictures and The Weinstein Company which co-distribute "Django Unchained" announced on Wednesday, March 13 that the film directed by Quentin Tarantino was set to open in China on April 11. This marks the very first time a Tarantino film will be released theatrically in the country.

A source with knowledge of the situation said it was likely that a little over one minute of the film would be censored, probably for its bloody violence, nudity, and bad language. It's unknown how long "Django" will run in China, but most foreign films screened there are limited to a one-month engagement by the Chinese government.

Iron Maiden's Former Drummer Clive Burr Dies in Sleep

Clive Burr, Iron Maiden's drummer from 1979 to 1982, passed away at the age of 56 because of multiple sclerosis on Tuesday evening, March 12. Iron Maiden informed fans of Burr's passing on their website on Wednesday, March 13.

In the statement, Iron Maiden's founder and bassist Steve Harris said, "This is terribly sad news. Clive was a very old friend of all of us. He was a wonderful person and an amazing drummer who made a valuable contribution to Maiden in the early days when we were starting out."

"Kick-Ass 2" has debuted its first red band trailer via MTV. Filled with some expletive-laden lines and graphic violence scenes, the video opens with Hit Girl beating up the titular superhero wannabe during their training session.

Continuing their mission to fight crimes on streets, they are joined by more people, including Colonel Stars and Stripes who is played by Jim Carrey. 'Moonshiners' Star Tickle Arrested for Public Intoxication in Virginia

Steven Ray Tickle, better known as Tickle on Discovery Channel's "Moonshiners", was arrested for public intoxication on last Thursday, March 7. On March 11, police in Denville announced that they had arrested the reality star after receiving a report of him getting drunk in public from an unidentified witness.

Tickle was spotted swilling alcohol in the parking lot of Charley's Stop and Shop alone. "At approximately 2:41 P.M. last Thursday a citizen approached a Danville Police Officer and reported that a man was drinking in public while sitting in a convenience store parking lot," a police officer told the Raleigh Telegram.

NBC Moves 'Smash' to Saturdays, Announces Other Schedule Changes

NBC has made some adjustments to its schedule. The network moves "Smash", which has been struggling in ratings since entering its second season, from Tuesdays to Saturdays at 9 P.M. starting April 6. The show will air all remaining episodes.

To fill in the Tuesday slot, new dating series "Ready for Love" which is executive produced by Eva Longoria will air in a two-hour block at 9 P.M. starting April 9. It follows "The Voice" which will premiere the fourth season on March 25.

Ed Asner Hospitalized Due to Exhaustion After Cutting Short His 'FDR' Show

Actor Ed Asner, 83, was rushed to a hospital Tuesday night, March 12. The "Lou Grant" star was forced to cut short his one-man show about U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt at Marquette Park Pavilion in Gary, Indiana after having trouble speaking on stage.

The acting veteran started the sellout show about 40 minutes late, according to Chicago Sun-Times, and left the stage 15 minutes into his performance after struggling with his lines. "I will be back," he allegedly said as he was being removed from the stage by ambulance crew.
