Ashton Kutcher Suffered Pancreas Problem When Preparing to Play Steve Jobs

Ashton Kutcher sparked health scare and ended up staying in hospital when trying to get into his character in "jOBS". The "Two and a Half Men" actor said he fell ill with pancreas problem after he had a fruit-only diet to prepare for his portrayal as Steve Jobs.

"First of all, the fruitarian diet can lead to like severe issues," the actor said as quoted by USA Today after the movie's screening at Sundance Film Festival. "I went to the hospital like two days before we started shooting the movie. I was doubled over in pain."

The girlfriend of Ashton Kutcher allegedly expressed her interest to portray Anastasia in an interview with The Sun, saying she wanted to try something different than her previous roles. "There are times when you just want to do something fun and different, because you're going to have a good time doing it," she said.

Justin Bieber and His Entourage Investigated for Assault With Nerf Gun

Justin Bieber allegedly found himself in trouble for goofing around in a nerf gun showdown with his 3-year-old brother and 4-year-old sister. A woman reportedly filed a police report, saying she got hit by him or someone in his group with the kiddie projectile.

TMZ reported the incident happened in Ottawa, Canada in November. The woman reportedly worked as a security guard in the venue where Bieber and his siblings were in. Police was said taking the incident seriously and questioning people in the building.

Jimmy Kimmel became the latest celebrity to join Hollywood Walk of Fame. He received the 2,489th star Friday morning, January 25 in front of the El Capitan Entertainment Centre at 6840 Hollywood Blvd., where his show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" is taped.

"My parents brought me here to Hollywood to visit the Walk of Fame when I was 10 years old," the late-night host remembered before jokingly added, "I never imagined they would leave me here to fend for myself." He also joked that "people will pee on my star."

In "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" episode hosted by frequently-bumped guest Matt Damon, Grammy Award-winning artist Sheryl Crow performed her new single "Easy". Before debuting the country track on the popular late-night talk show, Crow stood in for Jimmy Kimmel's bandleader Cleto for the whole duration of the show humorously re-titled as "Jimmy Kimmel Sucks!" for Damon's guest hosting stint.

Singing the first single off her upcoming album which she calls her "country debut", Crow wore a Western-inspired blouse for her performance of the catchy ballad. Strumming an acoustic guitar, she was backed by a drummer, a keyboardist, and three electric guitar players, two of whom doing vocals on the chorus with Crow.

"American Idol" is hit with racism accusation. Nine former contestants of the show from previous seasons are banding together, claiming the show exploited their criminal past and used it to boost the reality series' ratings.

NY attorney James H. Freeman has submitted a letter to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on behalf of the nine contestants, to ask for permission to sue "Idol" and FOX. "As of now it is not a lawsuit; it is just a request to the federal government that they investigate," the lawyer explains.

Usher Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction at Kid's Inaugural Ball

While performing at the Kid's Inaugural Ball Concert over the weekend, R'n'B superstar Usher ripped his pants right on the crotch area in front of a packed house of children from military families including President Obama's very own daughters Sasha and Malia. He suffered the wardrobe malfunction as he was doing his usual high-energy choreography onstage.

Apparently, someone from the audience that night caught a photo of the wardrobe mishap and posted it on YouTube, adding that Usher, being the consummate professional that he is known to be, continued with his performance despite the unfortunate incident by simply changing into a different outfit. It came as no surprise since Usher's performances are bustling with bouncy dance routines which can really take a toll on his trousers.

According to TMZ, the 32-year-old hottie wants her estranged husband to cover her attorney fees instead because she believes he has made unreasonable delay in the divorce proceedings that caused her legal fees to reach around $250,000.

'jOBS' Filmmakers Defend the Movie After Steve Wozniak's Slamming

After "jOBS" was slammed by the real Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak for presenting a "totally wrong" scene in its recently-released footage, filmmakers of the Steve Jobs movie break silence to defend the Ashton Kutcher-starring film. Through a publicist, they insist that the inaccuracies do exist because it is not a documentary pic.

"The film is not a documentary, nor is it meant to be a blow by blow, word for word account of all conversations and events," the rep explains via Entertainment Weekly. "The filmmakers have tremendous admiration and respect for Wozniak and all those that are portrayed in the film, and did extensive research in an effort to make an entertaining accurate film that captures the essence and story of Steve Jobs and those that built Apple with him."

Burt Reynolds Battling Severe Flu in ICU

Burt Reynolds, 76, was taken to a Florida hospital for treatment of flu symptoms. The "Boogie Nights" actor was "severely dehydrated" so he was transferred to the intensive care unit, his manager Erik Kritzer explained to CNN.

"He is doing better at this time," Kritzer said in assurance. "We expect, as soon as he gets more fluids, he will be back in a regular room." The manager refused to reveal what hospital he was taken into, "He would like that (kept) private."

New Kids On The Block, the breakthrough boyband in '80s, gave their die-hard fans a taste of their forthcoming "10" album with the arrival of their new single "Remix (I Like The)", a few days before its previously announced January 28 release date. It was premiered on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM radio show on Thursday, January 24.

The up-tempo track sounds more adult contemporary in comparison to the classic hits from NKOTB's teeny-bopper days back in the '80s and early '90s. As usually expected, each member has his own part in the song, but Donnie Wahlberg's voice distinctly stands out with his tone sounding most spot on for this track.

A first clip for "A Good Day to Die Hard" finally lands online. It sees Bruce Willis wreaking havoc on the Russian streets as he's involved in an intense car chase. The clip opens with Willis being hit by a car and having an argument with the driver. He then takes over the car and starts storming the streets wildly, including driving the vehicle atop other cars in the middle of a traffic jam.

Willis returns as fan-favorite John McClane in "Die Hard 5". This time, the iconoclastic, take-no-prisoners cop finds himself for the first time on foreign soil after traveling to Moscow to help his wayward son Jack stop a nuclear weapons heist. With the Russian underworld in pursuit, and battling a countdown to war, the two McClanes discover their opposing methods make them unstoppable heroes.

Tina Turner to Renounce U.S. Citizenship to Become a Swiss Citizen

Tina Turner is reportedly considering to be permanently settling in Switzerland. According to Zuerichsee-Zeitung newspaper, the 73-year-old American icon who was born in Nutbush, Tenn. has been granted a Swiss citizenship after living in the Zurich suburb of Kuesnacht since the mid-1990s.

Her rep said the singer wanted to "clarify her situation." The "Proud Mary" hitmaker will renounce her U.S. citizenship to become a full-pledged citizen of Switzerland. "I am very happy in Switzerland and I feel at home here. I could not imagine a better place to live," she told German newspaper Blick.

While filming, the two music superstars looked dashing in their tux with the bow tie undone, with the former NSYNC member holding a white umbrella over the hip-hop superstar as they strode along the rain-drenched pavement.

The released photos come on the heels of the "Suit & Tie" full lyric video yesterday which also announced the March 19 release date of Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience", his new album since his 2006 studio effort, "FutureSex/LoveSounds". The endearing photos share a glimpse of the excellent working relationship that the two artists have that brought about the catchy new track.

Marvel's Phase Three to Be Headlined by 'Ant-Man' and 'Dr. Strange'

While none of the films from Marvel Studios' Phase Two has been released, the company already prepares its third phase. The studio honcho Kevin Feige has confirmed to MTV News that the Phase There will officially begin with Edgar Wright's "Ant-Man" in November 2015. Also included in the phase is the long-gestating "Dr. Strange" flick.

" 'Ant-Man' is definitely part of Phase Three," Feige, who has been serving as Marvel's President of Production since 2007, announced. "Like 'Iron Man 3' it's certainly set in the Marvel Universe, but it's also through the lens of Edgar Wright - which is the only reason we're making the movie."

There's no part in this movie that makes me think, 'Oh, wow, she's naked.' She's a porn star! We simulated some scenes but there's no graphic content in this movie, at all."

Bringing good news to Trekkies, Variety's Marc Graser shares that the "Super 8" helmer is still committed to the space saga about Captain Kirk and co.

Graser tweets, "J.J. Abrams to produce a third STAR TREK movie and MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE, according to Paramount. STAR WARS doesn't kill his involvement.." It is, however, still unconfirmed whether the bespectacled filmmaker will only serve as the producer and not return to the director's seat.
