Nicole Scherzinger Premieres 'Boomerang' Music Video

Pop singer and dancer Nicole Scherzinger has just unveiled the full music video of her newest track "Boomerang", released in quick succession, following the release of the dance track's audio file some hours ago and prior to that, a 30-second plus teaser clip yesterday. Contrary to earlier reports, the former The Pussycat Dolls lead singer dropped the 3-minute plus clip via Vevo earlier than its previously announced release date slated for next week.

The mostly black-and-white video started with Scherzinger wearing a peculiar blue and pink blazer as she danced in front of a wall filled with spotlights. After the initial "colored" outfit, the rest of the clip showed her in different black ensembles, dancing to the up-tempo tune about not giving up on love. Then, the entire music video was creatively filled with digital images and computer-aided effects.

PTC Blasts Kate Upton's Sexy Super Bowl Ad

Parents Television Council isn't impressed at all with Kate Upton's Mercedes-Benz Super Bowl ad. The TV watchdog group even criticizes the commercial, which features the sexy model strutting her stuff in front of a group of football players who wash a car.

"This ad [reinforces] for millions of wives, daughters and sisters across the country that you use your sex appeal to get what you want," a spokeswoman for PTC stated. "If anything, this ad proves that we've regressed rather than progressed over the last several years."

The Flaming Lips to Release New Album in April and Star in Super Bowl Ad

The Flaming Lips just announced a couple of good news for their loyal followers. They are set to release their 13th studio album "The Terror" on April 2, but before that comes out, fans will first get to hear their new track "Sun Blows Up Today" as it is used in a Hyundai TV commercial set to debut during the Super Bowl spectacle on February 3.

The one-minute clip will also feature the members of the band on-camera, one of the four spots that Hyundai has clinched during the much-awaited Super Bowl telecast. The group will be performing the brand new "Sun Blows Up Today" which they specifically wrote for the Super Bowl commercial.

Coachella Festival organizers Goldenvoice have revealed the official line-up of performers who join this year's annual event. Headlining the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2013 in Indio, California are Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phoenix, The Stone Roses and Blur, who will all perform once in each of the two weekends of the festival.

English rock band The Stone Roses shares the Empire Polo Club stage with brit pop band Blur on April 12 and 19, supported by the indie rock trio of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and rock musician Lou Reed. French alternative rock band Phoenix headlines the April 13 and 20 shows, with electronic music group The Postal Service and New Order, the new wave and electronic music group that shot to fame in the 80s.

Matt Damon has got his revenge on Jimmy Kimmel. After a decade of "running out of time" excuse made by the talk show host, the actor took over "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Thursday, January 24, during which he was scheduled to make his first official appearance as a guest.

Hours before the episode aired, a video promoting Damon's appearance showed him kidnapping Kimmel. "Tonight you didn't run out of time for me. Did you Jimmy? No I ran out of time for you," the "Saving Private Ryan" star said in a creepy tone.

Sandra Bullock has a "twin sister," not in her real life but in Madame Tussauds museum in Las Vegas. The 48-year-old actress has just got her first ever wax figure displayed in the Venetian Resort and Casino, joining some other famous stars whose figures are exhibited in the famed museum.

The "All About Steve" actress' wax statue was introduced on Thursday, January 24. With very accurate details, the flawless figure looks like it is none other than the 48-year-old star herself. It is featured rocking a skintight red dress and black pumps complete with a golden miniaudiere. Its long brown hair is arranged simply to one side of the shoulder.

Grammy nominees Carrie Underwood, Jack White and The Lumineers are all set to perform onstage at this year's Grammy Awards ceremony on February 10 in Los Angeles. They join previously-revealed musical acts Mumford & Sons, The Black Keys, Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Fun., announced by the Recording Academy two weeks ago.

White, whose effort "Blunderbuss" is nominated for both Album of the Year and Best Rock Album awards, might perform his track "Freedom at 21" which got nominated for Best Rock Song. The multiple Grammy winner, winning six of his nine trophies as one-half of rock duo The White Stripes, may also perform either with his all-female back-up group The Peacocks or his all-male supporting cast The Buzzards.

The iconic Janet Leigh's shower scene in the Alfred Hitchcock-directed 1960s thriller is then shown in the video. As Leigh screams to the top of her lung when her murderer breaks into the bathroom, the video cuts to a scene where MacFarlane is in his bedroom which happens to be right next to Leigh's bathroom.

The list of songs that Destiny's Child is set to perform during the Super Bowl halftime show on February 3 at the New Orleans Superdome has been unveiled. The trio's onstage performance is just one of the highlights of their long-awaited reunion that includes a new single and a forthcoming album.

After Beyonce Knowles kicks-off the halftime performances with her solo hit "Crazy in Love", Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams (II) will join her midway into the show for a three-song medley, beginning with "Bills, Bills, Bills", followed by "Survivor" and ending with their new single "Nuclear". Singing Etta James' "Something's Got a Hold on Me" on crutches, she proved that the sacrifice she made was worth it. The judges were impressed with Randy Jackson calling her a "natural." Keith Urban jokingly said he wished to see her move around more, before Megan was handed out the golden ticket.

'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' Sequel in the Works for May Start Date

A sequel to Ang Lee's critically-acclaimed wuxia film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" is underway. Developed at The Weinstein Company, the follow-up to the 2000 movie is set to kick off filming this May in Asia. Lee will not return as the helmer as TWC is approaching veteran Chinese filmmaker, Ronny Yu, to serve behind the lens.

According to Deadline, the sequel is derived from the same source material in Lee's original film and will be based on "Silver Vase, Iron Knight", the fifth book of Wang Du Lu's Crane-Iron Pentalogy. The sequel will continue the story of Yu Shu Lien, played by Michelle Yeoh in the first film. It is still unclear whether she would return to the next movie.

Justin Timberlake Premieres Full 'Suit and Tie' Lyric Video

Justin Timberlake premiered on Thursday, January 24 the full lyric video of his new track "Suit & Tie" featuring hip-hop heavyweight Jay-Z. JT also used the more-than-five-minute clip to announce the March 19 release date of his forthcoming album "The 20/20 Experience", his latest studio effort after a seven year recording hiatus.

In the full version, 31-year-old former NSYNC member revealed the rest of the footage he shot together with the 30-second teaser he showed fans the day before. In the previous clip, he put on black loafers paired with white socks, reminiscent of the late Michael Jackson's trademark, and dressed up in his Tom Ford suit and tie. The black-and-white clip showed JT being prepped up for a night behind the piano, with coffee and black spectacles in tow, looking deep in thought as he penned a new song.

Recently winning Best Actor prize at London Critics' Circle Awards, Joaquin Phoenix is set to reunite with his "The Master" director in a new movie project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Oscar-nominated actor is currently in talks to star in Paul Thomas Anderson's next film "Inherent Vice".

The new movie will be based on a 2009 novel by Thomas Pynchon. The story revolves around a pot-smoking detective who gets wrapped up in a number of mysteries in 1969 Los Angeles, while the Manson Family trial growls in the background. The book also features a number of characters with original names such as Shasta Fay Hepworth, Riggs Warbling, Japonica Fenway and Adrian Prussia.
