International Press Academy's Satellite Awards has announced the nominations of its upcoming show. Leading in term of number is "Downton Abbey" and "Game Change", which grab four noms apiece.

The British period drama series is up for best drama series title, fighting it off against other acclaimed shows such as "Breaking Bad", "The Newsroom", "The Good Wife", "Game of Thrones" and "Homeland". Rookie "Nashville" also earns a spot in this category.

Clint Eastwood's daughter Alison Eastwood is going to be Stacy Poitras's bride soon, Stacy confirmed to Celebuzz on Monday, December 3. The "Chainsaw Gang" star revealed he had asked for Clint's permission to wed his daughter.

"I feel like I am the luckiest guy in the world because Alison is truly an angel, we are both very happy," Stacy gushed. The reality TV star then talked about his fiancee's father, "Clint is a cool guy... but he's definitely a man of few words."

Yet another prestigious prize-giving event announces its nominees for its latest edition. On Monday, December 3, the International Press Academy reveals the nominations for the 17th annual Satellite Awards in both movie and TV categories. In film field, "Argo", "Les Miserables", "Skyfall", "Silver Linings Playbook", "Zero Dark Thirty (2012)", "The Master" and "Life of Pi" are among the acclaimed titles racing for the coveted Best Motion Picture award.

Vying for Best Actress title are the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Emmanuelle Riva, Laura Birn, Laura Linney and Jessica Chastain. In the Best Actor category, meanwhile, John Hawkes, Omar Sy, Hugh Jackman, Joaquin Phoenix, Denzel Washington, Daniel Day-Lewis and Bradley Cooper are set to compete against one another.

Two more music greats have just been added to the 12-12-12 Sandy Benefit Concert. Rock band Coldplay and veteran musician Eric Clapton are set to join a stellar lineup of performers for the December 12 event that will take place in New York's Madison Square Garden. Previously announced performers include Bon Jovi, Paul McCartney, Alicia Keys, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Kanye West, Roger Waters, and more.

In addition to the amazing performances expected that night, the benefit show will attempt a one-of-a-kind approach for its broadcast. The 12-12-12 concert is slated to be aired across 34 U.S. networks and international channels. It will also have live radio broadcast and Internet streaming across six continents. According to reports from The Washington Post, concert producers estimate that the show will be available to 1 billion people in different continents.

Liam McIntyre made sure that his lover, Erin Hasan, felt like a real princess on their engagement day. He popped the question to his girlfriend of two years in a romantic fairytale style at Disney World, where he was the prince, and Erin was the princess.

Sharing about the wonderful day of her life, Erin told Australia's TV Week, "Liam had one of the characters from Cinderella come to my door." The musical theater performer continued, "They took me to a room and I got a makeover. They had custom-made me a dress based on my three favorite Disney princesses."

Rapper and record producer T.I. obviously has so much more material than he could possibly fit in just one album. Even before his newest set "Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head" arrives at stores on December 18, the 32-year-old rapper already sets out plans to release a sequel to his eighth studio effort. The second part would be titled "Trouble Man: He Who Wears the Crown".

Tip eagerly shared the good news about the album sequel during an interview with Rap-Up.com. The hip-hop star explained that he planned to take unused songs originally slated for "Heavy Is the Head" and arrange it to come up with another album for the sequel. Fans of the young rapper probably remember a previous announcement from Tip that he had recorded around 120 songs for his new set.

Snooki gives parenting tips to pregnant Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton. The party girl-turned-doting mother congratulates the expectant parents Kate and Prince William, saying in a statement to the New York Daily News, "It's hard, but don't stress out!"

Following the success of his directorial debut, "Ted", Seth MacFarlane is readying his follow-up project set for a summer 2013 release. Per The Hollywood Reporter, the "Family Guy" creator is set to helm a new film called "A Million Ways to Die in the West".

Aside from directing it, the funnyman who will host next year's Oscars will star and pen its script alongside his "Ted" co-writers Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild. It is said that the story will boast a Western theme with contemporary humor. The film is also described as a "Blazing Saddles"-style pic with "one undercurrent being just how dangerous and painful life really was in the late 1800s."

J.K. Rowling's first adult novel "The Casual Vacancy" is going to be adapted into the small screen. BBC announces that it has greenlit a TV show based on the book which will air on BBC One as early as 2014. There is no word on number of episodes for the series.

Fresh off her date with her rumored boyfriend Harry Styles, Taylor Swift hangs out with the family of her recent ex-beau Conor Kennedy. She's awarded 2012 Ripple of Hope Award for her humanitarian works at an annual gala hosted by Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice & Human Rights.

The 22-year-old country/pop singer came to the event alone. Looking gorgeous in a gold Oscar de la Renta midi dress with matching peep-toes, she was all smiles as she posed with the Kennedy family members including aunt Rory and Kerry. Her ex-boyfriend was not seen anywhere during the gala.

Pop/rock star Gavin DeGraw has a new inspiring music video for his track "Soldier". The clip, which highlights everyday heroes, premiered on Monday, December 3 on VEVO. Contrary to its title, the song's video is not about war but about the heroic things that ordinary people do for others.

The Carl Diebold-directed clip opens with a single candlelight that transitions into very bright spotlights and aerial shots of the night skies. DeGraw sings the uplifting song, which he also wrote, while different shots of people swipe left and right of the screen. The characters are simple, ordinary people such as firefighters, teachers, and people caring for the sick.

Katt Williams has been released from King County Jail after arrested on Sunday night, December 2 for alleged assault, harrassment, and obstructing police officers. He was bailed out by his tour manager, Suge Knight, on Monday at 8:46 A.M., Suge's representative told TMZ.

The Money Mike depicter in "Friday After Next" was put into custody on Sunday at 6:42 P.M. PT after he showed an aggressive behavior at a Seattle bar. According to Jonah Spangenthal-Lee, the Seatle Police Department spokesman, the former star of "My Wife and Kids" had an argument with patrons in the bar.

The battle on "The Voice" continued on Monday, December 3 with six contestants and three coaches in the running for the winning title. Christina Aguilera, who has no protege left on the competition, said she's excited "to sit back and literally be entertained."

That night, each finalist sang two songs which were their own pick and the coaches' pick. Nicholas David sang Earth, Wind & Fire's "September" first which was chosen by Cee-Lo Green. Hyping up the early 2013 awards season, The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood announces its nominees for the 40th Annual Annie Awards on Monday, December 3. A number of acclaimed animated movies are vying for the Best Animated Feature gong at the upcoming prize-giving event to be held in early Feburary.

Leading the pack are "Brave", "Wreck-It Ralph" and "Rise of the Guardians" with ten nods apiece. Trailing behind them are "Hotel Transylvania" and "ParaNorman" with eight bids each. "Frankenweenie" has six, "The Pirates! Band of Misfits" bags five, while "The Rabbi's Cat" earns two.

Nick Lachey sets the record straight on the swirling rumor that he got booted from the NFL game between Cincinnati Bengals and San Diego Chargers for talking smack. The 98 Degree star admits he got kicked out of the stadium, but denies it was because of trash talking.

"For the record, i was not kicked out of the chargers game for excessive 'trash talking'. no, that honor belonged to the guy in front of me!" he tweets. "I simply don't appreciate someone turning around and putting their finger in my face. call me crazy, but that deserved a reaction."

Cher's new album has finally gotten a release date, which is in late March 2013. Livia Tortella, Warner Bros. Records Co-President/COO, confirmed the news, announcing that the new set will come after the "Believe" hitmaker's 12 years of hiatus in music and it is expected to be one of the top releases for next year.

Last month, the 66-year-old entertainer previewed a hot dance track titled "Woman's World", which she announced via her Twitter account. The song was a catchy, upbeat dance track that Cher said would reflect much of what her new album would sound like. Asked by a fan about the new album, the timeless diva answered, "Eclectic! Lots of dance, but none (are the) same kind of dance! Have big ass choruses, some heart rippers!"

John Travolta is sued by his alleged gay lover. Doug Gotterba, a pilot who worked for Travolta from 1981 to 1987, says in the suit that he received a threatening letter from the actor's lawyer Martin Singer after he spilled his purported steamy relationship with the actor to the media.

According to TMZ, Gotterba claims Singer threatened to serve him with a lawsuit for violating a confidentiality agreement he signed when he quit working for Travolta. In his legal papers, Gotterba argues there's not anything about confidentiality in the termination agreement.

The fight against potentially smaller song payments continues for some of music's most prominent ambassadors. As reported by Rolling Stone, five top songwriters and musicians performed at Capitol Hill last week as a protest against music-streaming site Pandora's proposed Internet Radio Fairness Act (IRFA). The bill could reportedly slash musicians' royalty payments for up to 85 percent .

Before the bill's hearing on Wednesday, November 28, songwriters and rock musicians Linda Perry, Kara DioGuardi, Desmond Child, BC Jean, and Lee Miller voiced out what they had to say about the Pandora-backed proposal. The artists claimed that their songs were streamed via Pandora 33 million times during the first quarter of 2012, for which they received $600. "That is insane," exclaimed DioGuardi. "You can't make songwriters pay so that your business model works," she added. "You have to rework the model."

Miley Cyrus ditches her signature fashionista persona in a new clip of "So Undercover". Rocking an awkward crab costume at a carnival, the Molly depicter is seen promoting a game at the venue. "Buy a doll, play with balls!" so she says to every passing visitor, while trying to stay cool though some guys are picking on her.

On the other hand, Kelly Osbourne is featured looking bored while standing alone at a "Kissing Booth" which allows anyone to kiss her for $5. After waiting for a while, a nerdy boy finally comes to her and offers her the money. Kelly instantly gets sickened and scolds him, "Uh uh, not happen! The only thing you will be kissing is my a**! I'm done! I'm done! Screw the dolls, I'm done!"

Video of Taylor Swift and Harry Styles' date at Central Park Zoo in New York has surfaced. The couple, who didn't exactly keep low profile during the outing, was surrounded by fans just before they got into an awaiting SUV to leave the place.

Most of the screaming fans were young girls who eagerly approached them to pose with the One Direction member. Taylor generously stepped aside to give them a room before she herself got the same request for pictures from other fans.

Before fans get to see the first ever footage of "Star Trek Into Darkness", they get a glimpse at the tone of the movie through a newly-released first poster for the highly-anticipated space pic. The one-sheet, which boasts a "The Dark Knight Rises"-esque apocalyptic theme, sees a man standing tall atop a stack of rubble in city ruins. Shown from behind, the black coat-clad man is believed to be Benedict Cumberbatch's new villainous character.

As reported previously, the "Star Trek" sequel will debut its first footage before the showings of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" on December 14. J.J. Abrams gushes that he's excited to see it, saying, "You know, I'm excited because we've been working on this for awhile, and the idea of getting some of the movie out there to the world is going to be a real thrill for us, and as always you just hope people will like what they see."

A week after announcing a documentary about Beyonce Knowles, HBO has already released a video to promote the TV special. In it, the R&B diva can be heard saying, "I always battle with how much do I reveal about myself? If I'm scared, be scared. Allow it, release it."

In preparation for his much-awaited "Unorthodox Jukebox" release on December 11, Bruno Mars has unveiled another new single off the album titled "When I Was Your Man". The super emotive track presents Mars' sweet vocals over a smooth piano melody and some really heart-breaking lyrics.

In his last single "Moonshine", the 26-year-old singer evoked the sounds of Michael Jackson. This time in "When I Was Your Man", Mars sounds like he's influenced by Elton John and Stevie Wonder. Katheryn Bigelow's "Zero Dark Thirty (2012)" has been named the Best Picture of 2012 by New York Film Critics Circle. The high-end movie about the hunt for Osama bin Laden wins the prestigious awards at the 2012 NYFCC Awards on Monday, December 3, giving it an early chance to bow on next year's Oscar season.

In addition to claiming the biggest prize, the Jessica Chastain-starring movie brings Bigelow in nabbing the Best Director title. Also, Greig Fraser wins an award from NYFCC thanks to his cinematography work in the Mark Boal-scripted movie.

Singer and songwriter Sia Furler had to deal with a not-so-satisfied listener during her DJ session last December 1 at a Las Vegas nightclub. According to the Australian singer's tweet, she had to ditch her DJ gig at The Bank after she felt scared of the alleged club owner who did not seem to like the songs she was playing.

Sia, who is also known for penning hit songs for R'n'B stars such as Rihanna and Ne-Yo, sent out tweets saying, "I had to leave @thebankLV because myself and my elves felt scared by the (alleged) owner, who wasn't digging my tunes and got angry." The alleged owner was later identified as the club general manager. Sia also wrote that even her own manager felt "threatened" by the whole atmosphere in the club.

Lamb of God's frontman Randy Blythe is indicted for manslaughter in Prague. The 41-year-old is facing charges stemming from an incident in a Czech concert where a fan fell off the stage and died of a head injury after allegedly being pushed by the vocalist.

"We believe that Randy responded professionally to the numerous amount of fans rushing the stage that day, a number of them captured on videos that have been posted on the internet," the band's manager Larry Mazer said in a statement to Rolling Stone.

U.S. magician Wayne Houchin is recuperating after his head was set on fire while appearing on Dominican Republic's TV show "Approach the Stars" on Monday, November 26. Houchin suffered first- and second-degree burns to his face and hands after guest host Franklin Barazarte doused the magician's head with flammable cologne, which ignited.

On his Facebook page, Houchin stated he wasn't aware that Barazarte "was going to do this." He added, "This was not a stunt or part of an act - this was a criminal attack." It's unclear why Barazarte did such thing and the show's camp hasn't commented on the incident.

The hunt to find Harry Osborn for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" has come to an end. Director Marc Webb has confirmed that the coveted part officially goes to Dane DeHaan, who is best known for his role in found-footage thriller "Chronicle". Taking to his Twitter to announce the news, Webb writes, "Meet Harry Osborn. @danedehaan."

On Monday, December 3, Columbia Pictures also made an official statement to announce DeHaan's casting as the son of Norman Osborn. "So excited to have him on board," Webb stated in the press release. "Dane is an exciting and extraordinary young actor and he is a fantastic addition to our cast."

Fleetwood Mac are set to get on stage again after three years of absence. The 1970s rock/pop band announced on Tuesday, December 4 that they would embark on a 34-city reunion tour starting next spring. The road show will kick off in Columbus, Ohio on April 4, 2013 and will take the band across North America.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, core members Stevie Nicks, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, and Mick Fleetwood said that they would start rehearsing on February 15. Most of the songs included in their set list will be their past hits since they did not have a new album to support during the tour. There are also two new songs that may find their way through the final set list.

New couple alert. Kristin Chenoweth has a new man, former star of "The Bachelor", Jake Pavelka. "We have been spending a little time together," the pint-sized Broadway star confirms to PEOPLE about her new romance.

Building more anticipation to its 2013 edition, Sundance Film Festival announces its Premieres lineup that compiles a list of starry movies. Among those which make it to the short list are Ashton Kutcher's Steve Jobs biopic "Jobs", Joseph Gordon-Levitt's directorial debut "Don Jon's Addiction", and Amanda Seyfried's Linda Lovelace film "Lovelace".

Kutcher's Steve Jobs biopic, which has been sucking people's attention since it was announced last April, will serve as the Closing Night Film. Sundance's director of programming, Trevor Groth, says that "Jobs" is picked to close the event because "there's something inspirational about it."

Howard Stern is officially returning for the next installment of "America's Got Talent". He dropped the news when hosting his SiriusXM show on Monday morning, December 3, and NBC has confirmed it.

"I'm very, very excited, honestly, about going back to 'America's Got Talent'," he stated. "I'm very excited to be working again with [executive producer] Simon Cowell and NBC and all the various folks who work there."

Liam Payne of One Direction was spotted holding hands with ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer during an outing in New York City on Sunday, December 2. Their united front confirmed at the same time that Payne is not dating fellow British singer Leona Lewis.

The news of Payne and Peazer's split emerged in September. After two years of dating, the couple reportedly found it hard to spend time together with Payne constantly traveling with his band. "They both still care for each other and will remain friends, but it all just got too much," a source said at that time.

Lady GaGa intends to keep Michael Jackson's legacy longer. The "Born This Way" singer has spent huge amount of money to outbid other collectors of Jackson's memorabilia at a sale administered by Julien's Auctions over the weekend.

GaGa revealed on Sunday, December 2 on Twitter that she has bought 55 pieces of Jackson's costumes at the auction. "The 55 pieces I collected today will be archived & expertly cared for in the spirit & love of Michael Jackson, his bravery, & fans worldwide," she wrote.

Adam Levine watched TLC's "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" and he did not like it. The Maroon 5 frontman in fact found the perfect example of "decay of Western Civilization" on the reality series that stars seven-year-old beauty queen Alana Thompson.

In the December issue of GQ, Levine dished out, "Seriously, Honey Boo Boo is the decay of Western civilization. Just because so many people watch the show doesn't mean it's good. So many people witness atrocities and can't take their eyes away from them, but that doesn't mean they're good. That show is literally The. Worst. Thing. That's. Ever. Happened."

Mike Tyson said that he was "mad as hell" when he caught Brad Pitt in bed with his actress ex-wife Robin Givens. However, the former boxing champion said he doesn't hold a grudge against Pitt although he's revealing the two decades old story to the world now.

In an interview with "In Depth with Graham Bensinger" on Yahoo! Sports, Tyson recounted one day in 1988 when he walked in on Pitt and Givens together. "I was getting a divorce. I was going to my lawyer's office to divorce her that day but I wanted to sneak in a quickie," Tyson said. "This particular day, someone beat me to the punch. And I guess Brad got there earlier than I did."

The Royal Family shared a good news to the world. The rumor floating around these past few days that Kate Middleton is pregnant is true. A representative confirmed that the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William are expecting their first child.

"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby," the rep said in a statement.
