In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Bella Thorne, Neil Patrick Harris, Matthew Bomer and many other celebrities were giving back by serving food to homeless people at the Los Angeles Mission in California, on Wednesday, November 21. The actress and actors enthusiastically did their job as food servants at the event while donning red aprons.

For the occasion, Bella wore matching pink pants and brown shoes. She came with boyfriend Tristan Klier. Expressing her excitement, she posted a picture of her and Tristan posing in a food booth on Wednesday, November 21. The CeCe Jones of "Shake It Up" then tweeted, "Team work! I'm the plate server.. He's the plate runner! @tristanklier89 Los Angeles mission."

Mariah Carey gets the spotlight in a new "American Idol" season 12 promo. The new judge delivers a short inspirational message in the video, "I always sang, and I always wrote. It's just about having that ambition. You really can't let go of your dreams," as footage shows her in the auditions.

Carey tears up in one scene as saying, "Do not make me cry." She's also moved by another singing hopeful, praising him, "I felt every single word you sang." To another promising talent, she says, "I know people are going to love you."

Friends and family of the late Sherman Hemsley gave a very appropriate tribute to the actor at his funeral on Wednesday, November 21 in El Paso, Texas. During the service, they showed videos of Hemsley as George Jefferson, the role that he was best known for, on the hit TV sitcom "The Jeffersons".

An estimated 150 people attended the interment service at Cielo Vista Church in El Paso and mourners could not help laughing as they intently watched the clips of the TV actor playing the part of a feisty, bigoted owner of a chain of dry-cleaning businesses on the 80's sitcom.

Hip-hop mogul 50 Cent has dropped the new visuals for his single, "United Nations". The very catchy rap tune is featured on his free album released earlier this year titled "5 (Murder by Numbers)".

The "Get Rich or Die Tryin' " artist does not show so much chaos, booze, or booty in this new clip, which is a sharp contrast to his recent video for the track, "First Date". Instead, Fif decides to drive alone in his luxury Bentley ride and go on a cruise through the desert of Las Vegas, looking all relaxed and contemplative. Of course, the rapper does not forget to bring along his SMS headphones for the drive.

Michael Kenneth Williams has let fans see a first glimpse at Gary Oldman's character in Jose Padilha's "RoboCop" remake. Taking to his Twitter, Michael who plays Officer Jack Lewis in the film posts a photo of him and Gary on the set of the anticipated movie. The two are featured rocking Detroit police vests.

Gary himself is seen pulling what seems to be his best Robert De Niro impression as Michael writes in the picture's caption, "Classic Di Niro face." Gary is supposed to star as an OniCorp scientist who resurrects Alex Murphy and turns him into RoboCop. It is unclear as to why he dons the cop vest on the set. Aside from Gary's image, Michael shares another photo of him and young actor John Paul Ruttan, who will play Alex Murphy's son Jimmy.

After more than seven years airing, "Dirty Jobs" has gotten the axe. Host Mike Rowe breaks the news that Discovery Channel has pulled the plug on the reality show as writing in a blog to The Huffington Post, "A few weeks ago, I was officially informed that 'Dirty Jobs' had entered into a new phase. One I like to call, 'permanent hiatus.' Or in the more popular industry vernacular, canceled."

Admitting it took him "a few weeks to digest" the sad news, he claims, " 'Dirty Jobs' is a very personal show, and it's difficult for me to imagine a future that does not involve exploding toilets, venomous snakes, misadventures in animal husbandry, and feces from every species. Nevertheless, the future is here, and while it does not appear to contain any more 'Dirty Jobs', it will almost certainly include another Thanksgiving."

Puerto Rican professional boxer Hector Camacho is in critical condition after he was shot in the face by two persons riding an SUV on Tuesday, November 20. He was almost considered brain dead with very poor prognosis before doctors found out on Wednesday that he still had irregular and intermittent brain activity.

That Tuesday, Hector was sitting with his lifelong friend, Alberto Yamil Mojica, in a Ford Mustang parked outside a bar on Highway 167 in Bayamon, a suburban town west of San Juan capital, when suddenly two assailants shot them. Alberto died instantly, while Hector was critical.

Two news anchors in Maine shocked their co-workers and audience by announcing their resignation on live TV. Cindy Michaels and Tony Consiglio revealed their decision to quit WVII, which is ABC affiliate, at the end of their 6 P.M. broadcast on Tuesday, November 21.

"This will be Tony and my final show together here on ABC7," Michaels said as she wrapped up the show. Without detailing the reason of their resignation, Consiglio stated, "Some recent developments have come to our attention, though, and departing together is the best alternative we can take."

Pop-rock star Ashlee Simpson has a new single, which the singer premiered on Wednesday morning, November 21 via her Twitter account. The dark, angst-filled track titled "Bat for a Heart" can be heard in its entirety online and brings in a more mature sound from the 28-year-old artist.

The track kicks off with an unassuming piano tune playing against a steady beat of drum machines and synthesizers. Simpson gets into the song with some feisty, no-nonsense attitude as she blurts out the lyrics, "I'm gonna bang, bang, f***k you up / Twist you out inside of my head."

Apparently Scarlett Johansson wasn't the only one who thought that playing an iconic actress in Sacha Gervasi's "Hitchcock" was a daunting task. Her co-star Jessica Biel, who stars as screen legend Vera Miles, also shares similar feeling as she brands the acting stint "terrifying."

Speaking to ET Online, the wife of Justin Timberlake opens up that it's hard to portray Miles especially because the "Psycho" actress is still alive until now. "Portraying a woman who is such a screen icon in my mind - and someone who is still alive - [is] terrifying, but exciting," the newly-wed actress says. "A really provocative thing for me to be able to be a part of."

Alicia Keys is all out with her promotion for her upcoming fifth studio album, "Girl on Fire", slated for release on November 27 in the U.S. As part of creating more hype for the LP, the R'n'B star gave a track-by-track preview of the record during her Google+ Hangout live chat session on Tuesday, November 20.

The chat session, which has been uploaded on the singer's official YouTube channel, is a two-hour plus long video that contains a lot of insightful conversations with Keys and her musician collaborators who joined the preview show in New York via webcam. Present during the chat were singers Miguel, Maxwell, and Emeli Sande.

"The X Factor (US)" celebrated Thanksgiving in its Wednesday, November 21 episode. Just in time for the turkey festivity, the Top 10 of the singing competition dedicated their songs to those they're thankful for.

"The Voice" mentor is seen in his usual unconventional and amusing self in the three-minute long video directed by Mikael Colombu. The clip itself is filled with bizarre looking holiday props, stop-motion animation, 2-D graphic effects, and a lot of anthropomorphic animals which interact with the singer in an equally disjointed world of expressionistic scales.

Sheldon Stephen, a struggling model/actor who claimed Kevin Clash had sex with him when he was underage, has reacted to report that he made up the story. The guy, who's in his 20's now, was hurt by people who jumped into quick conclusion without knowing the whole story.

"The whole world reacted in such a negative way, and they haven't really gotten a chance to know who I am and to even ask the right questions to figure out what kind of person I am," he said when making an appearance on CBS' syndicated show "The Insider".

Is Guillermo del Toro teasing a very first glimpse of a Jaeger's action in "Pacific Rim" in a promo video for his visual effect company Miranda? PacificRimMovie.com says that the Miranda promo, in which del Toro is seen explaining the creative work of his company, allegedly unveils a possible footage of the big robot that plays an important role in the upcoming movie.

The sneak peek at Jaeger is featured in the 1:15 mark of the video. In it, the giant robot is seen launching his built-in weapons to attack the enemy in what appears to be a war set against the backdrop of city ruins. Words are, the footage is a concept art or a pre-production work of the character and it may not be featured in the final cut of the movie.

Rumor has it, Emma Stone ever recorded her sex stint. "Emma Stone has a sex tape and that's a fact," a source told Radar Online. "The tape remains in the hands of the person she made it with," the source added. The name of the lucky guy, however, was not mentioned.

"She made it long before she started dating Andrew Garfield, and before she really became a household name," the insider disclosed. "She was just young and probably thought nothing would ever come of it."

Green Day fans have another special something to look forward to as the punk group announced details of a new documentary titled "Quatro!" set for release in 2013. The documentary is an extension of the band's trilogy set, "Uno!", "Dos!", and "Tre!", and will feature behind-the-scenes footage of the creative process that resulted in the trilogy and other live clips from their shows across the U.S.

Before the band's third outing, "Tre!", debuts on December 11, highlights of the "Quatro!" documentary will be aired on November 28 on VH1, followed by a November 30 airing on MTV2. It promises to give hardcore Green Day fans a closer look at how the trio develops their ideas for music and how it is like to be on the road and perform to sold-out concert venues.

"Dark Skies" has its first spooky trailer available for viewing pleasure. In it, Keri Russell and Josh Hamilton's happy family is disturbed by an alien which takes control of their lives slowly but sure. Their normal lives turns into a nightmare as the alien starts to harm the couple's children and causes incessant incidents inside their home.

Russell and Hamilton are featured dealing with various supernatural phenomenon in their house including the one in which thousands of birds strangely hit the house as if they are migrating there. The on-screen couple eventually feels desperate with what happens in their home and starts to act irrationally. At the end of the trailer, the alien is shown in a quick glimpse behind Russell's back.

Kim Kardashian reportedly wants to lose 10 pounds of her body weight. The buxom brunette hottie, who has worked with celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson for years, is now seeking advice from fitness guru Tracey Anderson, who's helped Gwyneth Paltrow stay in shape.

"[Kim] wants to lose 10 pounds and tone up," a source tells Us Weekly. The E! reality TV star reportedly started her session with Tracey on November 5 and will take a personal trainer approved by the fitness guru when she's traveling so that she can continue her training without a hitch.

Boyband power proves to be very strong this week as One Direction get the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart with their sophomore album, "Take Me Home". The fivesome hold off their top competitors such as big name artists Christina Aguilera, Soundgarden, and Lana Del Rey, selling 540,000 units of their newest LP.

The achievement marks the second time this year that the group debuts at No.1. Their "Up All Night" set also soared to the top of the charts back in March but with more significantly low sales of only 176,000 copies. The new number for "Take Me Home" gives 1D the third largest debut week of the year, following Taylor Swift's "Red" (1.2 million) and Mumford & Sons' "Babel" (600,000).

David Letterman surprised Amy Poehler with a kiss when she stopped by his late-night show Tuesday, November 20. The newly-single actress was talking about Vice President Joe Biden who turned down her approach for a kiss when she filmed "Parks and Recreation" in Washington and Letterman gladly jumped in to take the chance to plant his own kiss.

Letterman was introducing a "Parks and Rec" clip, but his sudden movement got Poehlor a little bit flustered. "Oh, I thought you were going to go in for a kiss," she said. Apparently taking it as an invitation, the "Late Show with David Letterman" host grabbed her arm and planted a quick kiss on her lips. Later, there was an awkward moment of thank yous as Poehlor looked a little embarrassed.

Michael Bay-produced "Ninja Turtles" remake has yet to announce its cast, but a new report suggests that the project may bring back one of the leading cast members of the original "Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles" films. MovieWeb learns that Corey Feldman is hinting that he could end up reprising his role as Donatello in the upcoming movie.

Corey, who voiced the character in 1990's and 1993's "TMNT" movies, says that he hasn't officially been asked to return but he's been "communicating" with Bay and there might be a chance of him returning as the purple-masked brainbox. Besides, many rabid fans of "TMNT" want the actor to once again bring their beloved character to life.

Megan Fox is already back in shape just two months after delivering her first child. The Mikaela Banes of "Transformers" movie franchise shows off her trimmed figure in Beverly Hills recently. She hit the Writers Guild Theater to attend a private party with her "This Is 40" co-stars.

The "Jennifer's Body" actress arrived solo without her husband Brian Austin Green in tow. The 26-year-old first-time mom rocked a navy blue blazer on top of her plain black tee. Former "The Price Is Right" model Brandi Cochran will walk home a multi-millionaire after winning a lawsuit against the show's producers. The 41-year-old has been awarded $7,763,440 in punitive damages from her wrongful termination and discrimination lawsuit.

Earlier this week, on Tuesday, November 20 to be exact, the jury had awarded Cochran $775,000 in compensatory damages. FreemantleMedia, which produces the long-running game show, has indicated that it will appeal the jury's decision.

Elmo will not be denied his rightful place to march the streets of Manhattan along with fellow "Sesame Street" puppets at the 2012 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 22, although Kevin Clash who's voicing the red furry monster has just resigned. A representative for Macy's confirms the kiddies' friend will be brought to life by a different voice actor.

"Elmo will be joining his Muppet friends on the Sesame Street float with an alternate puppeteer bringing him to life," the rep says as quoted by TMZ. "Current events have no bearing on Sesame's participation in the Parade and we are confident their world-renowned, family-friendly entertainment and educational programming will continue to bring kids and families joy for decades."

Mayim Bialik decided to end her relationship with Michael Stone after nine years of marriage. She wrote on Twitter, Wednesday, November 21, "I'm beating the tabloids to it and posting this Divorce Statement," and posted a link to her official site, where she announced the breakup.

"After much consideration and soul-searching, Michael and I have arrived at the decision to divorce due to 'Irreconcilable Differences'," the 36-year-old actress said in a statement. She then stated that she understood how "sad, painful, and incomprehensible" the decision was for their kids. "It is not something we have decided lightly," she added.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson shows that he could be a good father in the first trailer for his new actioner "Snitch". The pro wrestler-turned-actor risks his life to save his only son, who is wrongfully accused of something he never did. In between the action scenes, there are some touching moments when The Rock gets teary and lets out all his emotion when seeing his son in jail.

The Rock headlines this fast-paced thriller as a father whose teenage son is wrongly accused of a crime and is sentenced to 10 years in jail. In order to clear his son's name, he dangerously goes undercover and risks everything, including his own life, to reduce his son's sentence. The story is adapted from true event by screenwriters Justin Haythe and Ric Roman Waugh, who also serves behind the lens.

Grammy officials announced on Wednesday, November 21 that this year's musical works would be inducted to the Grammy Hall of Fame as it celebrates its 40th anniversary. Twenty-seven recordings from legendary musicians will be added to the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles including works from Paul McCartney, Whitney Houston, Bob Dylan, Elton John, Frank Sinatra, and Billy Joel.

McCartney and Wing's 1973 album "Band on the Run" gets the hall of fame nod for its role in reviving McCartney's career following The Beatles' split in 1970. Houston's self-titled debut in 1985 is also in the list of inductees and serves as another great achievement and honor for the singer after her untimely death back in February this year.

Chevy Chase is leaving "Community" while the show is still filming its fourth season. According to Deadline, the 69-year-old actor/comedian and the series producers are parting ways by mutual agreement.

The Pierce Hawthorne depicter won't appear in just one or two episodes which haven't been filmed. He, however, is going to be featured in the season 4 finale which has been shot earlier.

Kimora Lee Simmons and her boyfriend of more than five years, actor Djimon Hounsou, decide to go their separate ways. "Djimon Hounsou and Kimora Lee Simmons have officially separated after five-and-a-half years," a rep for the actor tells PEOPLE. "Though never married, they have one child together, Kenzo Lee Hounsou, who is three-and-a-half years old."

Kimora confirmed the separation on her Twitter. "There have been quite a few hurtful rumors circulating," she began her post, before adding, "The truth is Djimon+I have been separated for some time. We have remained happy, loving, co-parenting friends+family. We all have much to be thankful for. #HappyThanksgiving."

Helen Mirren was extra hands on when she met "Hitchcock" co-star Jessica Biel at the film's west coast premiere. The veteran actress appeared to have grabbed Biel's chest while talking to her on the red carpet event in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, November 20 night.

Mirren was apparently taken with Biel's black Gucci dress that not only boasts her svelte figure but also side boobs. Mirren was admiring the ruffles on the chest part of the dress and touched them in an angle that made her appear to have copped Biel's breast.

Jon Bon Jovi has broken his silence on the recent arrest of his teen daughter. The rocker, who is also an anti-drugs advocate, called his 19-year-old Stephanie Rose Bongiovi's heroin overdose a "tragedy" that the family must deal with.

Stephanie was caught in possession of controlled substances, a small amount of heroin and marijuana. Police were called to her college dorm in Kirkland, New York on November 14 and found her overdosing on heroin. She was taken to hospital after the incident and was later released from custody. Charges against her were dropped last week, thanks to a so-called Good Samaritan law passed last year.

It could be a victory for Justin Bieber. Due to lack of evidence and conflicting stories from eyewitnesses, the pop star reportedly is off the hook on the case of his alleged scuffle with a paparazzo back in May.

A photographer filed a police report last May, saying he and Bieber got into a physical altercation in Calabasa, California. Words on the street were, the photographer was actually on Bieber's path when the singer was attempting to leave the place in his car. Police investigating the case treated it as a misdemeanor battery.

Jessie J peels off her clothes in her new music video for the upbeat "Silver Lining (Crazy About You)". Standing in front of pitch black background, the British singer went stark naked with scenes from "Silver Linings Playbook" projected on her body to cover her modesty. "Naaakkkeeedneeessss lol," the singer tweeted along with link to the video, which is directed by Andrew Logan.

Indeed, "Silver Lining (Crazy About You)" is the soundtrack to the movie starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. Written by award-winning songwriter Dianne Warren, the song leaked online late last month. "Ok so I have woken up to see #crazyboutyou all over my timeline... Let me explain this song and what its for :D," Jessie tweeted at that time.

NASCAR driver Danica Patrick announced that she is divorcing from her husband of seven years, Paul Hospenthal. On Tuesday, November 20 morning, Patrick wrote on her Facebook page to tell the world about the sad news but noted that they have split on good terms.

"I am sad to inform my fans that after 7 years, Paul and I have decided to amicably end our marriage. This isn't easy for either of us, but mutually it has come to this," the racing star wrote. "He has been an important person and friend in my life and that's how we will remain moving forward."
