The movie is based on true story of John du Pont, a paranoid schizophrenic who built a wrestling training facility on his 800-acre Pennsylvania estate. There, he subsequently shot and killed Olympic gold medal-winning wrestler David Schultz in 1966.

CBS is going to bring "Bad Teacher" to small screen. The network has given script orders to a new show based on the Cameron Diaz-starring film, teaming up with Hilary Winston who is on board as the scribe.

Zac Efron might have broken his "High School Musical" boy stereotype when he starred in Lee Daniels' thriller "The Paperboy". Though the actor had proven that he could tackle a gritty role, director Daniels himself admitted that at first he doubted the former Disney hottie could fit the genre of his very adult movie.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Daniels opened up that he worried Efron couldn't pull off the part because of his Disney background. "I was so scared for Zac because he came from another world," the helmer said. "Zac's a Disney boy."

Ahead of their upcoming concert in Azerbaijan, Rihanna and Shakira received a letter each from Amnesty International and Sing for Democracy. Before deciding to move forward with their plan to perform, they were asked by the two non-profit organizations to take into consideration the human right abuses inflicted on the people in the country.

"Stadiums may cheer for internationally renowned recording artists like Rihanna and Shakira, but citizens within the European country do not enjoy such freedom of expression and are often persecuted when attempting to speak out," they said in a press release. Christian Bale finally decides to get back to David O. Russell's untitled film project, which was formerly known as "American Bullshit". The Batman in "The Dark Knight Rises" previously turned down the offer to take the lead role in the drama, which is supposed to mark his second collaboration with Russell after they teamed up in Oscar-winning "The Fighter".

When Linda Hogan was busted for DUI on the same day her ex-husband Hulk Hogan's sex tape leaked, some couldn't help but think that the two incidents were related. Before the speculation ran wild, she quickly released a statement via her attorney insisting that her arrest had nothing to do with the sex tape.

Lawyer Raymond Rafool told New York Daily News, "We intentionally want it known we have no comment on the sex tape." He added, "They have moved on to a nice, peaceful place in their relationship. They're working hard to be peaceful co-parents. Even though their kids are adults, they still need their parents."

Will there be a spin-off film for "Paranormal Activity" movie franchise? Breaking the news is Bloody Disgusting, which claims to have obtained the info that Paramount Pictures has prepared a special treat for "Paranormal Activity" fans. Getting closer to its release date, Taylor Swift's highly-anticipated fourth album "Red" finally unveils its full tracklist. "Steel Magnolias" remake will premiere on Lifetime this Sunday, October 7 despite the legal issue it currently faces. On Friday, October 5, a Los Angeles judge denied an injunction request from Victoria White, the executive producer of the original film, who was seeking a temporary restraining order to ban the TV movie from airing.

White filed the injunction request along with a lawsuit earlier this week, accusing the reboot's producer, Sony Pictures Television, Lifetime and the network's parent A&E Television Networks of breach of contract and breach of implied covenant. White's seeking for screen credits and financial compensation from the new adaptation.

Constantin Film unveils a first look at its motion-caption animation "Tarzan (2013)" in form of a teaser trailer. The video doesn't feature any dialogue or narration, but it showcases the iconic jungle man's adventure with a group of gorillas. Hanging and jumping from tree to tree, the shirtless titular character ends his journey by standing on the top of the tallest tree in the forest and observing the wide landscape around him.

"Twilight Saga" actor Kellan Lutz brings Tarzan to life in the movie. In it, the titular character and his love interest Jane Porter face a mercenary army who is sent by the evil CEO of Greystoke Energies. The villain is the one who took over the company from Tarzan's biological parents after they died in a plane crash.

Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson follow the footsteps of many "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" couples whose romances doomed. They end their engagement less than a year after pledging their love for each other on "The Bachelor" season 16.

T.I. is officially a life saver. Scott Stapp, the lead singer of rock band Creed, has shared that he had a low moment to the point of killing himself when the rapper stepped in and saved him.

Telling his story on VH1's "Big Morning Buzz", Stapp said he checked into a Miami hotel when he was still battling alcohol and drug addiction. He attempted suicide by jumping off the balcony, fracturing his skull and breaking his hip. T.I. then showed up to save him.

Dr. Sheldon Cooper will dwell deeper in his study of flags in an upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory". The episode, which is slated to air in November 8, will be Star Trek-themed because the theoretical physicist is exploring the flags of his beloved entertainment franchise.

For the special occasion, producers bring back "Star Trek" alums LeVar Burton and Wil Wheaton. Both have made appearances on the sitcom, the latter who becomes Sheldon's mortal enemy throughout his recurring cameos. AnnaLynne McCord is back on the single saddle after splitting from "Prison Break" star Dominic Purcell. The couple met in early 2011 while filming "Officer Down" and called off the relationship after 15 months.

Reason of their split is not yet revealed but a source told Us Weekly that McCord wants to settle down because both of her sisters, Angel and Rachel, have got engaged. Lifetime's "The Anna Nicole Smith Story" is shaping up fast with the addition of Martin Landau and Virginia Madsen. The TV movie about the late Anna Nicole Smith's true life story from a small town girl to a Hollywood babe has also nabbed "American Psycho" helmer Mary Harron as director.

Landau, an Oscar-winning actor, is set to play oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall who married Smith when he was 89 and she was 26. In the casting call, Marshall is described physically "going gray, head gone bald and liver spots everywhere" but has "the glint that used to be in his eyes."

Sex tape leak and DUI arrest happen on the same day for the Hogans. The black and white video of Hulk Hogan and an unidentified female having intercourse made its way online on Thursday, October 4, the same day his ex-wife Linda Hogan was busted for suspicion of DUI and driving on a suspended license.

The existence of Hulk's sex tape actually has been in public knowledge since April this year. Screen grabs of the video were posted on the internet at that time and Hulk, through his lawyer, sent a cease and desist letter to TheDirty.com editor to take down the pics. Buzz about the video died down but then Gawker posted the one-minute long video on Thursday.
