A new trailer for USA Network's upcoming miniseries "Political Animals" has landed online. It highlights more drama in the private life of political figures. While those issues could be useful for a journalist like Carla Gugino's Susan Berg, it could also be a weapon to take down such disgraceful politician as Ciaran Hinds' Bud Hammond, who is also a former President of the United States.

Sigourney Weaver plays Elaine Barrish, the ex-wife of Hammond. In the sneak-peek video, she appears to be annoyed by Berg, who launched her career by uncovering Hammond's affair. Now, Berg is pressing Barrish to reveal whether or not she's going to run for the White House.

Russell Brand didn't get much love from Katy Perry's fan after he split from her. A huge billboard featuring the British funnyman on Sunset Blvd. was vandalized by someone who apparently was a devotee of his estranged wife.

The ad obtained by TMZ promotes his new TV series "Brand X With Russell Brand", which was previously known as "Strangely Uplifting". It now has an additional white tagline that promotes Katy's film instead. "I would rather watch the Katy Perry movie," so it reads.

Sony Pictures' upcoming "Starship Troopers" reboot will likely not be as violent as the original Paul Verhoeven-directed version. The remake film's producer Toby Jaffe opened up that the new version, which is still in the early phase of production, will go back to the story in Robert Heinlein's original novel.

"The more expensive a film is, the harder it is now to make it that violent," Jaffe told Empire magazine. The producer who also works for Colin Farrell's "Total Recall" reboot added, "With 'Recall' in particular, we made a conscious choice to keep it tonally closer to something like 'Minority Report'. It gives the studio, and us as producers, the opportunity to reintroduce it in a new way."

"So You Think You Can Dance" reached a milestone with its latest episode, which marked the 200th outing of the reality show. To celebrate it, executive producer/judge Nigel Lythgoe made a speech and cut a big cake before the taping began.

R. Kelly sparks health scare. The R&B crooner suffered complications from a throat surgery he had last year. He was supposed to appear on "Today" show on June 28 and "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" on the following day, but was forced to scrap them all. He was also no longer scheduled to attend his book launch party in New York City.

One of them focuses on the "Drainage" scene, where Spidey arranges his web in a culvert. Suddenly, a number of tiny lizards come and approach him before The Lizard shows himself.

Another snippet features the "Carjacker" scene where the masked vigilante makes fun of a car thief who thinks he's a cop. There are two other clips that give a longer look at the action scenes where The Lizard wreaks havoc on a bridge and the titular superhero must save a boy who is trapped in a nearly falling car.

Lupe Fiasco has released a music video for his single "Around My Way (Freedom Ain't Free)". The 30-year-old rapper is driving his white Lamborghini and roaming the streets with glowing eyes while rapping to the camera.

Ann Curry has confirmed her impending departure from "Today". Following wild speculations about her future on the show, the co-host, who was tapped to replace Meredith Vieira a year ago, revealed that she will bid goodbye Thursday, June 28 morning during the morning program.

It's official, "Iron Man 3" will come to Hall H during the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con. On Wednesday, June 27, Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios announced that they will be hosting the Hall H panel for the third armored hero film from 6 P.M. to 7 P.M. on Saturday, July 14.

Gearing up for the production of "Game of Thrones" season 3, HBO has just shared some info on shooting locations, directors and writers. Slated to kick off in early July, the principal photography will return to Belfast, Croatia and Iceland. Morocco is added as the fourth country, likely as the backdrop for Daenerys' storyline.

In the directors line-up, showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are going to take turn directing an episode while still providing the script. The Salvation Army is preparing to close its Bethesda Centre, which currently becomes a home for unmarried mothers, despite efforts by Justin Bieber and her mom Pattie Mallette to raise funds for it. Another character from Marvel Comics' universe, The Human Fly, might get a big screen treatment. Deadline reports that a movie adaptation of the red costume-clad superhero is currently in development. It is said that Steven Goldmann is courted to direct it.

Goldmann and Alan Brewer have recently obtained the rights to "The Human Fly". The movie project has Cirque Du Soleil's in-house historian Tony Babinski serving as the screenwriter. Meanwhile, Brewer along with James Reach will serve as the producers.

Recent report regarding a possible "Firefly" reunion at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con turns out to be true. Science Channel, which is currently airing repeats of the space western series, has announced that it will hold a special 10-year anniversary panel for the short-lived show on Friday, July 13 at 12:30 P.M. in Ballroom 20.

Set to attend the event are cast members Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher and Michael Fairman, as well as creator Joss Whedon. Don Grady passed away on Wednesday, June 27 in Thousand Oaks, California. The 68-year-old actor, who played one of the sons on classic sitcom "My Three Sons" and became one of the Mickey Mouse Club's original Mouseketeers, died after a long battle against cancer.

How Tom Cruise would look like in "Jack Reacher" (previously known as "One Shot") has been revealed in a first official still of the movie. Scarlett Johansson, Christina Aguilera and Renee Olstead may get settlement from their personal account hacker. Prosecutors said Christopher Chaney, who pleaded guilty to nine counts of computer hacking, should pay the celebrities a total of $150,000 in compensation and serve 71 months in prison.

Chaney hacked into email accounts of around 50 people in the entertainment industry daily. He managed to get the nude pictures of Johansson which were sent to her then-husband Ryan Reynolds. The 35-year-old man forwarded the pictures to another hacker and two celebrity websites which then started the worldwide circulation online.

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer's "True Blood" co-star Sam Trammell may have missed a note from the couple to keep it a secret how many babies are in her belly. Trammel let it slip in an interview with Us Weekly that Paquin and Moyer are expecting twins.
