George Clooney Opens Up His L.A. House for Public Viewers

Notoriously private George Clooney allowed CBS News' cameras to enter his Los Angeles house. The actor is one of the celebrities who are featured on the program's newly-revived feature "Person to Person" apart from singer Jon Bon Jovi and billionaire investor Warren Buffett.

In Clooney's segment, the actor would show off his kitchen, screening room, bar as well as collection of photos. He also introduced his black cocker spaniel, Einstein, whom he rescued in 2010. "The dog came in and threw himself at me and I find that works also with some actors," Clooney said.

Contemporary Artist Mike Kelley Found Dead in the Bathtub of His Home

Another sad news has come from the world of contemporary art. Mike Kelley, an influential Los Angeles artist whose work incorporated stuffed toy animals, sculpture, painting, performance art and music, was found dead in the bathtub of his home in South Pasadena, California on Tuesday, January 31 night.

Los Angeles County Coroner's spokesman Ed Winter said that the 57-year-old's body was found by a friend. He was last seen alive on Sunday, January 29. Police were investigating his death as a possible suicide. Though no suicide note was found in the home, there were no signs of trauma or foul play. An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday, February 2.

Don Cornelius shocked the world with news of his tragic passing on Wednesday, February 1. Don Cornelius, the man who famously created television dance series "Soul Train", died in the hand of a gun. The 75-year-old committed suicide in his Sherman Oaks, CA home and his body was found by the cops on Wednesday, February 1 morning at around 4 A.M. PT.

Cornelius was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:56 A.M. from "an apparent suicide with a self-inflicted gunshot wound," Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter told The Hollywood Reporter.

Nicki Minaj's music video for her explicit single "Stupid Hoe" is not accepted on BET, a report from TMZ said. 'Jersey Shore' Spin-Off Not Getting Filming Permit From Hoboken

The spin-off of "Jersey Shore" starring Snooki and J-Woww has met a blocking stone. The producers failed to secure a permit to film in Hoboken, New Jersey because the mayor, Dawn Zimmer, made the decision "based on protecting public safety and quality of life concerns for Hoboken residents."

"I write to put you, 495 Productions, MTV and Viacom on formal notice that there will be zero tolerance for this kind of approach in the City of Hoboken," Zimmer said in a written letter to one of the show's producers, Jim Bianco. "Any attempts to film in a manner that is not permitted without a permit will be dealt with immediately and aggressively."
