TMZ reported that Pilar has filed an emergency motion in a Texas courtroom, claiming that Deion held her as a "financial hostage". M. Ward is taking time off from caroling with Zooey Deschanel in She & Him to make a solo album "A Wasteland Companion". He has released his lead single "The First Time I Ran Away", and dropped an animated music video for it.

Los Angeles County Coroner's spokesman Ed Winter said that the 57-year-old's body was found by a friend. He was last seen alive on Sunday, January 29. Police were investigating his death as a possible suicide. Though no suicide note was found in the home, there were no signs of trauma or foul play. An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday, February 2.

A Super Bowl spot from another big movie has been shared. After "The Avengers" released a preview to its trailer that will air during the football championship, "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" has debuted a full version of its promo video that is set to air during the Sunday, February 5 event on NBC.

The Super Bowl ad for "G.I. Joe 2" offers a look at some never-before-seen scenes. It has more footage featuring female ninja Jinx as well as some slow motion ninja battle scenes. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, at one point, is seen launching an attack while plunging off a tall building.

Don Cornelius shocked the world with news of his tragic passing on Wednesday, February 1. The "Soul Train" creator was found dead in his Sherman Oaks, California home with "a self-inflicted gunshot wound". While he died of an apparent suicide, it has just been uncovered that he did not leave a suicide note behind.

The Associated Press reported that detectives have not found a suicide note at the house where Cornelius shot himself, and are talking to relatives about his mental state. Police Officer Sara Faden said authorities have ruled out foul play. TMZ additionally noted that Cornelius had plagued with health problems for years, and the pain reportedly had become unbearable.

Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum's anticipated remake comedy "21 Jump Street" is set to have its world premiere at the 2012 South by Southwest Film Conference and Festival. On Wednesday, February 1, SXSW organizers announced that the movie will have its special screening at the festival on March 12.

The remake of Johnny Depp-starring 1980s TV hit show is due to open wide in the U.S. on March 16, four days after the screening. The story is about two cops who are sent to do undercover work in high schools and colleges to catch troubled youths.

A brand new official image from "Skyfall" has been released by Columbia Pictures. While the previously released photo offers a look at James Bond sitting alone by the pool side, this fresh picture sees the stubble-looking flamboyant agent holding his gun. While "Skyfall" has yet to be released in theaters, the 007 franchise is having its 50th anniversary this year. Showtime has given new season orders to its Sunday programs: "House of Lies", "Shameless" and "Californication". The dark comedy series starring Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell, which has become the network's second highest-rated freshman premiere night ever, will return for a second season.

Showing a rating increase in its currently airing season 2, dramedy "Shameless" which revolves around the Gallaghers will return for a third season. As for "Californication", it will return for a sixth season. The David Duchovny-starring series averages 2.96 million viewers in its fifth season.

Aaron Carter has broken his silence regarding his sister's sudden death. Just hours after his family confirmed that Leslie Carter passed away in upstate New York at the age of 25, the 24-year-old singer released a statement of his own, expressing his gratitude for the supports he's been receiving.

"Aaron Carter would like to thank all his fans, friends and especially his cast and crew at 'The Fantasticks' for their outpouring of love and support during this tragic time," Aaron's statement read. Personally, he said, "I am with my family spending much needed time together as we deal with this private matter."

Katy Perry is going to be on the stage of the Grammys again this year. It has been announced on Wednesday, February 1 that the nominee of Record of the Year and Best Solo Pop Performance is one of the performers at the big music event which has had impressive line-up.

Don Cornelius, the man who famously created television dance series "Soul Train", died in the hand of a gun. The 75-year-old committed suicide in his Sherman Oaks, CA home and his body was found by the cops on Wednesday, February 1 morning at around 4 A.M. PT.

Cornelius was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:56 A.M. from "an apparent suicide with a self-inflicted gunshot wound," Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter told The Hollywood Reporter.

Nicki Minaj's music video for her explicit single "Stupid Hoe" is not accepted on BET, a report from TMZ said. The Hype Williams-directed video was premiered less than two weeks ago and received 4.8 million views on VEVO within 24 hours, breaking a record on the video-sharing site for most views in shortest amount of time.

Nevertheless, BET is not going to run it on their screen. A representative of the network would not specify the reason of the ban, only saying they will not broadcast it. However, sources told TMZ that the video is simply because it is too explicit for television.

The spin-off of "Jersey Shore" starring Snooki and J-Woww has met a blocking stone. The producers failed to secure a permit to film in Hoboken, New Jersey because the mayor, Dawn Zimmer, made the decision "based on protecting public safety and quality of life concerns for Hoboken residents."

"I write to put you, 495 Productions, MTV and Viacom on formal notice that there will be zero tolerance for this kind of approach in the City of Hoboken," Zimmer said in a written letter to one of the show's producers, Jim Bianco. "Any attempts to film in a manner that is not permitted without a permit will be dealt with immediately and aggressively."
