In less than 160 characters, Lambert explained what happened that night, writing "Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it. :)" The couple was released from jail on Thursday afternoon after spending several hours there for questioning.

"Glee" will have a very special guest when it returns to the small screen on January 17, 2012. TVLine reported that Oscar winner Helen Mirren has been set to make a cameo on the FOX hit series. She will provide the "inner voice" of a character whose identity is still being kept a secret.

Drake is loud and proud in professing his love for California. The Canadian rapper shows his addiction to the West Coast by cruising around the town in a music video for a track called "The Motto". Joining him to pay homage to The Bay are his homies Lil Wayne and Tyga, as well as native rappers E-40, Mistah F.A.B. and the mother of the late Mac Dre.

A first look into HBO Films' telepic "Game Change" has just arrived. Coming out in the form of a teaser trailer, the promo is less than a minute long, but manages to give a peek at Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin, Ed Harris as McCain, and Woody Harrelson as his campaign advisor, Steve Schmidt.

The teaser previews the moment when McCain and Schmidt get together and decide that they need to pick someone as a game changer for their campaign. It ends with a snippet of Palin taking the podium and declaring, "I will be honored to accept your nomination for vice president of the United States."

When Rooney Mara was announced as the actress to play Lisbeth Salander in "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)", people was quick to compare her with Noomi Rapace who tackled the role in a 2009 version. The inaugural season of "The X Factor (US)" is closer to crown its winner. Three contestants left standing, Josh Krajcik, Chris Rene and Melanie Amaro, took the stage to deliver their best performances in an effort to win the judges and audience during the final round on Wednesday night, December 21.

Woody Allen is set to team up with Sony Pictures Classics once again. Following its successful collaboration with the fimmaker in "Midnight in Paris", the studio has acquired the North American and U.K. rights to his upcoming movie, "Nero Fiddled". The deal will mark the actor-turned-director's fifth partnership with the studio.

Of his collaboration with Sony, Allen said, "I've had a number of very good experiences with Sony Classic, culminating most recently with 'Midnight in Paris'." He added, "They seem to be very sensitive to the kind of films I make, and I'm looking forward to working with them now again."

One member of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" has met trouble just days away from Christmas. Joe Giudice is facing up to 10 years in jail after he was indicted on two criminal counts in Passaic County, New Jersey for illegally obtaining a driver's license using his brother's name.

On Tuesday, December 20, the husband of Teresa Giudice was charged with one count of wrongfully using identifying information of another and one count of impersonation. The first charge carries a maximum of 10 years in prison, while the second charge is punishable by up to 18 months.

After unveiling two preview videos for the anticipated first trailer of "Prometheus", 20th Century Fox comes out with the final promo. Released one day ahead of the trailer debut, this fresh video sees director Ridley Scott explaining where the element of surprise will come from.

Starz has hyped up the anticipation of "Spartacus: Vengeance" January premiere by unveiling a long-form trailer for the series. The fresh preview gives more look at the intense fighting, the blood spilling and glimpses of nudity. It also shares footage of Lucy Lawless' Lucretia.

"Ender's Game" has officially added veteran actor Harrison Ford to its cast ensemble. Variety reported that after being long courted to star in the high-profile sci-fi movie, the 69-year-old thesp has now been tapped to play Colonel Hyram Graff, who is described as the man who trains the young recruits at an elite military academy.

There are new details in the death of rapper Slim Dunkin who was fatally shot inside a recording studio in Atlanta on December 16. WSB-TV reported that the Waka Flocka Flame affiliate died of a simple reason, which is a stolen piece of candy.

"The information we're getting, it's unconfirmed, but witnesses are saying this whole thing started over a piece of candy," homicide detective David Quinn told "Action News" on camera. Dunkin reportedly grabbed a piece of candy from another man inside the studio and they began an argument.
