WB Confirmed the Death of 'Dark Knight Rises' Extra on Set

An extra on the New York City set of "The Dark Knight Rises" suffered a heart attack during rehearsals and died. The unnamed actor was believed to have wandered off the set during a break and was later found unconscious.

"The studio can confirm that a male extra passed away while on a break during an off-set crowd rehearsal for a sequence with several hundred extras... in early November," a Warner Bros. rep told NY Post. "Production fully cooperated with the authorities' investigation, which established that he died of natural causes."

James Cameron Sued for Allegedly Stealing Idea for 'Avatar'

While enjoying the success of "Avatar", James Cameron has to face a lawsuit. The director of the highest-grossing movie of all time has been accused by his former employee of stealing his idea for the sci-fi movie.

In the suit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Eric Ryder who worked for Cameron's Lightstorm claims that he came up with a story called "K.R.Z. 2068" which is described as an "environmentally-themed 3-D epic about a corporation's colonization and plundering of a distant moon's lush and wondrous natural setting."

Jagged Edge Respond to Accusation of Them Ruining a Fan's Wedding

Jagged Edge are speaking out against claims that they stood up a fan who has hired them for his wedding. Through their representative, the R&B group told TMZ that they "are very heartbroken and sad" Victor Diaz's wedding "got destroyed due someone using our name without permission."

Victor reportedly is looking to suing Jagged Edge, the record label and JE's management company. He reasoned, "They humiliated me and cost my wife her dream." But, the four-men group were not worried. "As far as court goes ... if the guy does decide to sue, good luck," their rep said, "because we didn't agree to anything and he will see he had a forgery contract."

One of those expecting women is Elizabeth Banks. "I'm calling it. Pregnancy sucks! Making a human being is really hard. I have no control over my body or my emotions. Carebear, I'm sorry, all I want to do is punch you in the face," she confesses to audience and her husband in front of her.

Eddie Murphy to Play Marion Barry in Spike Lee-Directed Biopic

Eddie Murphy may channel his inner politician in his upcoming project. The "Saturday Night Live" alum is attached to portray former Washington D.C. Mayor Marion Barry in a biopic which is in development by HBO Films.

The not-yet-titled TV project has Spike Lee on board to direct with John Ridley penning the script. Murphy, Lee and Ridley are additionally set to executive produce, while Journalists Harry Jaffe and Tom Sherwood as well as filmmakers Dana Flor and Toby Oppenheimer will serve as consultants.

Just a few days after being announced as the frontrunner to have the first and second biggest selling album in the United Kingdom, Adele is revealed as the 2011 queen of iTunes by topping not just one but two lists. The British pop sensation rules lists of both best selling song and album on the digital store.

Adele's single "Rolling in the Deep" becomes the most downloaded song. The track, which actually was released a year ago, overshadows LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" which occupies the second place. Katy Perry's "Firework", Bruno Mars' "Grenade", and Cee-Lo Green's "Forget You" round up the top 5.

Coldplay are back on the road in an effort to support their latest studio album "Mylo Xyloto". The band will travel across North America starting April 17, 2012 and will bring the tour opener to Edmonton, AB at Rexall Place.

During the cycle 17 finale which was aired on Wednesday, December 7, the judges announced that Angelea Preston, who was among the top 3 along with Lisa and Allison Harvard, was disqualified and could not continue her participation on the show.

"We're back in Los Angeles on the Top Model set and we're here for a special finale that's being conducted under unusual circumstances," judge/executive producer Tyra Banks said during the final judges panel. Prior to that, the three women had done their last challenges, which included doing a Cover Girl commercial, a photo shoot for Vogue Italia on the beach in Crete, and a runway show.
