All is settled now between singer Rihanna and photographer David LaChapelle who were tangled in a lawsuit about her "S&M" video. LaChapelle asked for $1 million in damages but the final amount paid is not disclosed, NY Post reported. "David is happy with the settlement," the shutterbug's publicist said.

LaChapelle sued Rihanna for copying his provocative pictures in the raunchy scenes of her video. In the lawsuit, he claimed that the video copied his poses, lighting, wardrobe and props. The "pink room scene" in particular is similar to his "Striped Face" photograph.

Mariska Hargitay has adopted a baby boy just six months after adopting daughter Amaya Josephine. The "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" actress and her husband, Peter Hermann, name the new addition Andrew Nicolas.

Andrew was born in the United States over the summer about three months early. "He was a preemie," an insider told Us magazine. "He and Amaya are just a few months apart."

One TV show that would not be seen at the White House is "Keeping Up with the Kardashians". Michelle Obama reveals the first family's television watching habits, saying her husband doesn't like it when their daughters watch the reality show.

River Phoenix's last movie "Dark Blood" will finally be seen on theaters. Dutch director George Sluizer has announced that the 1993 drama that Phoenix was shooting when he died of a heart attack, will be finished for a release next year.

Phoenix died of an apparent drug overdose on Halloween night outside Viper Room in Los Angeles. Sluizer immediately took the original "Dark Blood" footage and kept it hidden, fearing that it would be destroyed. The material will now be re-edited, using voice-over which could be done by Phoenix's brother Joaquin Phoenix. "The voices of both brothers are very much alike," the director told THR.

"Q'Viva: The Chosen", talent competition by former husband and wife, Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez, "American Idol" showrunner Simon Fuller and show director Jamie King, has been given a green light. Project is currently being filmed in English, Spanish and Portuguese, but will air as one-hour weekly episodes in Spanish in the U.S.

A brand new trailer for "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" has landed online. Making its way out via Apple, the two-and-a-half-minute promo video follows Holmes and his comrade John Watson while they take on "the most important case" in Holmes' career. The new trailer sees more battle scenes in the woods, train and city than the first trailer. It also shows a funny moment where Holmes thoughtlessly throws Watson's wife out of a moving train.

"Sherlock Holmes 2" centers on the fabled quirky-mannered detective as he continues his pursuit of Professor Moriarty, whom he suspects to be the world's number one supervillain. Lil Wayne is adamant Drake's second studio album "Take Care" will be a huge success. Although the rap mogul hasn't had a chance to listen to all of the songs in the effort, he has already been impressed with what he has heard so far.

The outcome of "The X Factor (US)" judges' houses stage has been announced on Tuesday, October 18. While the show was initially expected to trim the 32 contestants to 16 before the live shows, an extra singer is added to the pile in a last-minute twist.

In an effort to salute Bob Dylan over his contribution to music throughout these years, an all-star tribute album is being planned. Electropop artist Ke$ha, British singing sensation Adele, and music vet Sting have been tapped to do the honor.

The CD is titled "Chimes of Freedom: Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International", and is expected to be released in the U.K. on November 21 and Stateside on the following day. Proceeds from the album will benefit the human rights group.

When the police searched the SUV, they discovered the weed, cash and firearms.
