"Lincoln" adds one more actor to the already stellar line-up. Jackie Earle Haley has just signed up for the role of Alexander Stephens aka the vice president of the Confederate States during the Civil War, Deadline reports.

The Steven Spielberg-directed drama has nabbed Daniel Day-Lewis to play the titular role and Sally Field as Marry Todd. Haley's Stephens would provide the necessary twist in the story because the figure is the "nemesis of Lincoln's slavery reform agenda".

A man is trying to cash in on Mel Gibson's violent reputation by claiming the actor has tried to kill him with a car. Nader Sharif had once tried to fork out money out of Gibson in June, filing a lawsuit in which he claimed Gibson swindled him out of $200,00 for a recyclable rubber company investment. Sharif is filing a second lawsuit.

This time, Sharif said he ran into the actor at a Costa Rican bakery and Gibson got violent, calling him "vile and offensive names". Gibson allegedly threatened Sharif to leave town before storming out of the bakery and entering his car.

There will be another "Hell" on television, created by none other than the kitchen devil himself, Gordon Ramsay. Coming from FOX is a new TV show called "Hotel Hell" in which Ramsay works with hospitality experts in fixing up troubled hotels, motels and inns.

"These are stories that everyone can relate to, because virtually all of us have had a bad hotel experience that's turned a holiday or business trip into a total disaster," Ramsay said in the press release. "It's time to put the hospitality industry to the test."

Justin Bieber is putting together a song called "Falalalala" with Boyz II Men. The title of their holiday collaboration was uncovered less than a week after the teen pop sensation confirmed that the successful R&B group will be lending their vocals to his upcoming Christmas album.

Jackie Chan's epic "1911" finally gets its first trailer available for viewing pleasure. Making its way out via Apple, the video sees a remarkable cinematography of a heroic war at the beginning of the 20th century in China. Chan is seen dodging explosion in the war field and at one point looking sad and weeping while wearing a soldier uniform.

"1911" is set at the time when China is in the state of crisis. The country was parted into warring factions, while the citizens were starving and the political reforms were making the situation even worse. The ruling Qing Dynasty, meanwhile, is completely out of touch after 250 years of unquestioned power.

Gilles Marini will hang out with Cameron and Mitchell on "Modern Family". The former cast member of "Dancing with the Stars" has landed a guest role in an episode of the ABC series' third season as Julian, a friend of a friend of Cameron and Mitchell.

Jeremy Renner will take on another bank robber role in "King of Heists". According to Deadline, the Hawkeye depicter in "Thor" and "The Avengers" has been attached to play the lead character in the movie adaptation of J. North Conway's novel about one of the greatest bank robberies in American history.

Renner is set to portray George Leslie, a man who came to New York City as a well-mannered person. However, he secretly created a group and masterminded a heist of an estimated $3 million in cash and securities from the Manhattan Savings Institution in 1878.

Chris Brown has booked his best friend Bow Wow as a supporting act for his "F.A.M.E." tour. The "You Can Get It All" rapper will join the "Kiss Kiss" hitmaker on his North American trek for some stops in October, starting on date 5 at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.

Justin Lin won't likely serve behind the lens for "Terminator 5" due to scheduling conflicts. Deadline reported that the "Fast Five" director exited the project because he still has to complete the untitled Fast and Furious 6 for Universal Pictures in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Though so, Lin reportedly is still interested in taking on the directorial duty for "Terminator 5". Words are, he might be back to do the action movie if only leading man Arnold Schwarzenegger and rights owner Megan Ellison could wait until he finishes the sixth installment of "The Fast and the Furious" franchise.

Michaele Salahi and Neal Schon have finally broken their silence over their much publicized affair. In an interview with The Daily Beast, the former star on "The Real Housewives of D.C." admitted that she "just walked away from everything" to be with the Journey guitarist.

It has been revealed that Michaele had dated both Schon and Salahi in the '90s. Still, the 46-year-old decided to choose estranged husband Tareq Salahi over Neal because of her multiple sclerosis. "I chose Tareq over Neal because I thought life would be less stressful living on a vineyard in Virginia," she explained. "Life on the road with a rock band ... well, I thought I might not have been able to keep up."

Gwyneth Paltrow might team up with "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy once again. After appearing as a guest star on the second season of the hit series, the Oscar-winning actress is now set to star in Murphy's musical project for the big-screen.

The solo album recording report was first brought up by Us Weekly, which claimed that Rob is "prepping to record an album imminently." The publication cited one inside source as saying, "Rob has been kicking a few original songs around for a long time, but his schedule didn't allow it."

"Dancing with the Stars" season 13 has sent home one of its 12 contestants on Tuesday, September 20. Ron Artest aka Metta World Peace was the first one who has to bury his dream to claim the mirror ball trophy after he was placed in the bottom of scoreboard with 14/30 from Monday's performance.

It has been confirmed that "The Avengers" will take part in upcoming New York Comic Con. Through a panel line-up announcement in the event's official website, it has been revealed that Marvel Studios is set to debut a brand new footage of the much awaited superhero film during the convention.

Tom Sizemore has found himself being put behind bars yet again. The "Black Hawk Down" actor was arrested in downtown Los Angeles early Tuesday (September 20) morning on an outstanding battery warrant for failure to complete his community service hours, but his representative insisted that it was caused by a clerical error.

Tom's representative explained that the 49-year-old got entangled in an investigation involving his assistant who allegedly stole a car. To Radar Online, his rep detailed, "Tom was at his own house in Los Angeles - not someone else's apartment - the confusion came about because the assistant is living at his house but not paying rent."

While his former sitcom "Two and a Half Men" broke rating record on CBS with its new season premiere, Charlie Sheen also set a new record for Comedy Central with his roast. The Monday (September 19) show, which was filled with jokes about his troubled past, drew 6.4 million viewers, making it the most-watched roast ever for the network.

It surpassed previous record holder, Jeff Foxworthy roast in 2005, which was watched by 6.2 million viewers. The number is also roughly double the audience of previous roasts for the likes of David Hasselhoff and Donald Trump.

Either people are curious of how Ashton Kutcher would top up Charlie Sheen or how Charlie Harper is killed on "Two and a Half Men". Around 27.2 million viewers tuned in to the sitcom's ninth season premiere on Monday, September 19, Nielsen noted. It also posted a 10.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

The numbers are extremely good because any other episode in the first eight seasons when Sheen was the star could not top it up. The sitcom's previous best came in May 2005 following the final episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond". Additionally, it is rarely seen for a scripted show these days to generate such big audience.

Paris Hilton has served her Las Vegas cocaine case above the par. A judge at a Vegas courtroom revealed on Tuesday, September 20 morning that the socialite has completed the required 200 hours of community service and topped it up with extra 8 hours.

Hilton got into trouble when spending time with ex-boyfriend Cy Waits in August last year. A cop approached Waits' car which suspiciously let out smoke and the smell of marijuana. Hilton excused herself to enter Wynn Las Vegas but a small bag containing cocaine slipped out of her bag.
