Patrick Stump admits he was surprised to see relieved patriots in his homeland waving flags to mark the event and admits he found the news footage "unsettling".

Boxing great Muhammad Ali has paid a moving tribute to his one-time adversary Henry Cooper, who died on Sunday, May 1. The British fighting legend and charity advocate passed away at his son's home in Surrey, England after a short battle with ill health, two days before his 77th birthday.

Sir Henry famously knocked down a cocky young Ali, then Cassius Clay, in 1963 - a punch which he went on to say "hit me so hard my ancestors in Africa felt it". The royal family is keen for the pair to ride on the waves of its popularity by visiting commonwealth nations around the globe in 2012 as part of William's grandmother Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee celebration, which will mark 60 years of her reign.

"Law & Order: Criminal Intent" may be looking at its most watched season. The criminal drama kicked off the tenth and final season on Sunday, May 1 to a great start with 5.1 million viewers tuning in. Statistically it went up 43% from the premiere of season 9 in March last year.

"Criminal Intent" is making a triumph in most demographics, including adults 18-49 (1.88 million, up 35%), adults 25-54 (2.04 million, up 21%) and adults 18-34 (632K, up 31%). The numbers also slightly affected the next hour when "In Plain Sight" premiered its fourth season. The opening episode averaged 3.9 million viewers or up 1% from season 3 debut.

Two new songs come out almost at the same time. One titled "Click Clack Away" comes from young rapper Diggy Simmons who is the son of Run DMC's Rev Run, and the other called "Where Them Girls At" which is recorded by French disc jokey David Guetta.

The teen rapper teams up with Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Bruno Mars. "You shot me through the heart staring in your eyes/ So I might die a happy man today/ Just empty out your barrel girl/ It's alright, click clack away," the "Grenade" crooner kicks in the track.

The first trailer for "The Ledge" has been released. The video, obtained via Yahoo! Movies, features Charlie Hunnam who is about to throw himself out of a building, with Terrence Howard trying to convince him to come down from the ledge. In another scene, Hunnam is seen making out with Liv Tyler.

"The Ledge" tells a story of two men embroiled in a complicated love triangle with a beautiful woman. Their opposing philosophies escalate into a lethal battle of wills. Patrick Wilson's Joe forces Hunnam's Gavin onto the ledge of a tall building, giving him one hour to make a choice between his own life and someone else's.

ABC has unleashed the first promo for "The Bachelorette" season 7 which has Ashley Hebert as the main star. The 26-year-old beauty from Maine was dumped by Brad Womack on the last season of "The Bachelor", and she is ready to open her heart for 25 men who are trying to impress her.

But Ashley will get her heartbroken early in the show as she is reportedly warned in the season's opening episode that one man could be on the show for the wrong reasons. Digital Spy also reports that the first episode will see a stolen kiss at the cocktail party, one man introducing Ashley to his mum over speakerphone, a love note written on giant cue cards, and one bachelor arriving hidden behind a mask.

January Jones has pulled off a geek chic look during a recent outing. The Betty Draper on "Mad Men" was snapped wearing a pair of spectacles as she made her way into the Staples Center to watch the first Playoffs game between Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks on Monday night, May 2.

Post the filming of "The Three Musketeers", Paul W.S. Anderson opts "Pompeii" as his next venture. The director has reunited with his "Musketeers" team, Constantin Film and Summit Entertainment on the film about a romance amid the destruction of Pompeii by Mount Vesuvius.

Anderson, producer of four "Resident Evil" films, once again takes seat as a director in this new film with Impact Pictures' Jeremy Bolt and Constantin's Robert Kulzer taking duties as producers. Summit will be in charge of its U.S. distribution and selling at Cannes International Film Festival while Constantin would be the financier.

New images for the next installments of "Twilight' Saga Breaking Dawn" have been unleashed. After some stills went online in late April, Summit Entertainment has officially released other high-res pictures for the movie. On one photo, shirtless Edward and bikini-clad Bella are seen embracing each other in a waterfall.

The characters played by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are additionally highlighted in some other pictures, but there are still some photos exposing other characters like Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), Alice Cullen (Ashley Greene), Aro (Michael Sheen), and Caius (Jamie Campbell Bower). Lady Antebellum have offered the first taste of their new album. Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott dropped a single called "Just a Kiss", a love song which talks about taking things slow in an exciting new romance. The country music trio wrote the song themselves.

"We love writing songs from personal experience, and this is definitely one of those songs," Scott said. "There is so much excitement at the beginning of a new relationship ... all the butterflies and that optimistic feeling that this person could be 'the one'."

There is about a month before the premiere of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" season 6. To tide fans over the show's return, E! has debuted a trailer for the reality series. There is no big drama in the preview since all the girls are featured in good mood.

Kourtney Kardashian's living partner, Scott Disick, appears briefly in the trailer. While there is no hint about a wedding, he declares a statement to take Kim Kardashian's sister as a wife, but fails to impress her mother, Kris Jenner.

Lindsay Lohan appears to have gone a little bit racy when showing up at the Downtown Women's Center in Los Angeles, California recently. The 24-year-old actress attended an orientation session for her court-mandated community service on Monday, May 2, and was snapped wearing a very sheer top sans bra when leaving the center.

The actress, who has just landed a role in "Gotti: Three Generations", also wore a loose cardigan, a pair of shorts and leopardskin print pumps for the occasion. David Boreanaz broke the news of "Bones" season 7 before the official announcement came out. He wrote on Twitter on Monday, May 2 night, "OT! Orange and Black craziness! Oh, Season 7 is GO for Bones".

"Bones" renewal actually is inevitable as showrunner Hart Hanson said last month that there was only "business stuff" left to take care of. "It's license fee negotiations," said Hanson. "They are talking like crazy over there. In 2009, it wasn't settled until the weekend before upfronts. I imagine this could be anywhere between now and May 15. I'm very confident we will come to a deal."

Panic At the Disco's "Ready to Go" music video has just been debuted. It follows Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith popping up in three different places which seem to be several years back in the past. They are jamming in a 50s-inspired set among other vintage-themed scenes.

"Ready to Go (Get Me Out of My Mind)" is lifted from the duo's latest studio album "Vices & Virtues" which peaked at No. 7 on Billboard Hot 200 since making its way out in the U.S. in March. It's the second single to follow up the lead track "The Ballad of Mona Lisa".

Chris Hemsworth may trade his hammer for an ax. Deadline reports that the "Thor" star is the front-runner to play the huntsman in Rupert Sanders-directed "Snow White and the Huntsman".

If Hemsworth is chosen, he will star opposite Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron who are set to portray Snow White and evil queen respectively. His character is ordered by evil queen to kill Snow White. However, the man decides to train Snow White to take care of herself.

Country couple Amy Grant and Vince Gill have pulled out of their immediate commitments following the death of Grant's mother. Gloria Dean Napier Grant died on Saturday, April 30 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Grant and Gill canceled their performances at "The Nashville Choir presents a Tribute to the Songs of Bill & Gloria Gaither" event on Sunday, May 1, and Gill has scrapped his appearance at Monday night's (May 2) flood commemoration event, "Voices Rising: Remembering One Year Later".

Kottonmouth Kings frontman Daddy X is recovering from emergency surgery after he was stabbed in the neck. According to TMZ.com, the rocker underwent an operation to repair the damage from a knife wound.

Although it is not yet known how the incident occurred, the website shows a picture of a sedated-looking Daddy X - real name Brad Xavier - in a surgery gown and attached to an intravenous drip. In a posted message to fans, he writes, "Surgery went well... no major arteries... thanks for the love and concern... got some pain meds (medications) and in recovery!!"

"Rain Man" and "The Natural" moviemaker Barry Levinson is in talks to replace Nick Cassavetes as the director of John Travolta's Gotti family biopic. Cassavetes quit "Gotti: Three Generations", due to a scheduling conflict, just a week after staging a press conference to announce his leading men, Travolta and Joe Pesci, last month.

But his director's seat won't be vacant for long, according to trade paper Variety. Levinson is slated to take charge of the Fiore Films project, which will star Travolta as mob boss John Gotti, Pesci as his deputy Angelo Ruggiero and Lindsay Lohan as John Gotti Jr.'s wife Kim.

Oscar-winning writer/producer Mark Boal is busy turning Osama Bin Laden's death into a dramatic climax for his upcoming screenplay about the search for the Al-Qaeda leader.

Boal and his "The Hurt Locker" partner and director Kathryn Bigelow have been working on the script about operatives on the hunt for bin Laden since they won gold for the 2009 war movie - and now they have a solid ending, according to a Variety exclusive.

The mummified remains of model-turned-actress Yvette Vickers has been found in her Los Angeles home. Police experts suggest the one-time Playboy Playmate may have died alone a year ago. Her body was discovered by a curious neighbor on Wednesday, April 27.

The 82-year-old appeared in classic B-movies "Attack of the 50-Foot Woman" and "Attack of the Giant Leeches". Susan Savage, the neighbor who found Vickers' corpse, tells the Los Angeles Times the actress was in an upstairs room of her dilapidated Benedict Canyon home.

Since Osama bin Laden's death has become a hot topic on the last few days, Discovery Channel will air a one hour special that highlights the event. The network has lined up "Killing bin Laden" which "provides an intimate second-by-second account of the Bin Laden operation."

"Utilizing a global team of local reporters, fixers and cameras on the ground in Abbottabad, Pakistan," the special will detail how the operation was planned and executed, and the special ops involved in the operation. It will additionally provide scoop on the burial of bin Laden at sea.

There won't be Joseph Gordon-Levitt in "G.I. Joe 2". When asked by Collider whether he will reprise his role as Rex Lewis in "G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra" sequel, the actor simply said, "No," yet did not give further details on the reason.

On the same occasion, Gordon-Levitt also talked about his involvement in upcoming "The Dark Knight Rises" where he lands role as John Blake. Expressing his excitement to work with Christopher Nolan who has directed him in "Inception", he said, "I'm incredibly excited to work with Chris again."

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z have found themselves getting booed on the red carpet. The "Halo" singer and her music mogul husband attended this year's Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday night, May 2, and upset photographers when they failed to pose for pictures.

Reporting the incident was The Cut. The New York Fashion Magazine's fashion blog first tweeted, "OMG Beyonce and Jay-Z are being BOOED at the #MetGala for not posing for pictures! Yes, boo!" In another tweet, it was explained, "Beyonce's Pucci dress was so tight she could barely walk up the stairs as she failed to stop for the photographers. #MetGala".

Selena Gomez is officially announced as a co-host and performer at MuchMusic Video Awards for its upcoming 2011 celebration. This marks the "Ramona and Beezus" movie beauty's first trip to the MuchMusic HQ in Toronto.

More jobs are streaming down on Armie Hammer's way. The "The Social Network" star is now attached to a psychological thriller about an air traffic controller who investigates a mysterious flash of light. Titled "2:22", the project was announced by Lightstream Pictures on Monday, May 2.

The studio's co-founder Paul Currie would be directing and using the script from Todd Stein and Nathan Parker's original concept. The film is described as "rollercoaster thriller that centers on Dylan an air traffic controller who is given a jolt when he narrowly escapes being responsible for a mid air collision between two passenger planes."

"The biggest surprise is yet to come," says the preview of new "House M.D." episode. The medical drama is close to wrapping up the seventh season which may end up revealing another downside of House. In "The Fix", the team begins to suspect House may have another type of drug problem.

House's addiction to Vicodin began to eat him up at the end of season 5 when he started to have hallucinations and finally admitted himself to a psychiatric hospital. His old habit came back several episodes ago when he could not stand the thought of Cuddy's potential death. Despite previous rumors that Lil Wayne, who is featured in the single, was going to make a cameo, this music video doesn't see the rap mogul making appearance. Instead, it features Lopez breaking into an unexpected dance routine to her song "Papi".

Lady GaGa's "Judas" music video has been teased in an official still and TV spot. The picture, posted on Twitter, depicts the Monster ringleader roaming the street with her motorcycle gang.
