Prince Settles 'Foreclosure Crisis'

The "Purple Rain" hitmaker, Prince owns 20 acres of land in Chanhassen, Minnesota, where one of his many homes once stood before it was torn down in 2005.

The land reportedly fell into foreclosure after the star allegedly failed to keep up with mortgage payments and the local Carver County Sheriff's Office scheduled an auction to sell it off to pay the alleged $368,000 (GBP230,000) mortgage bill, according to Minneapolis' StarTribune. A foreclosure notice is said to have been posted in a local newspaper.

Kara DioGuardi Sued Over Car Crash

The songwriter's ex-employee, Christina Kline, was in an accident last year in Los Angeles while driving a BMW which is co-registered to former "American Idol" judge, Kara DioGuardi. Kline was reportedly instructed to remove DioGuardi's name from the registration when she left her employment in 2009, but failed to do so, according to the star's representative.

DioGuardi has now been served legal papers by Joel Postorino, who claims he was injured in the crash and is now seeking approximately $250,000 (GBP156,250) in damages, according to TMZ.com.

Max B Hoping to Be Released From Prison

Incarcerated rapper Max B is hoping he will be released from prison later this year now he has filed an appeal against his 75-year jail sentence. The hip-hop star, real name Charly Wingate, was jailed in 2009 after he was found guilty of murdering David Taylor during a botched hotel robbery in 2006.

A 'Free Max B Campaign' was subsequently launched to raise money to fund an appeal. The rapper has now completed the necessary paperwork for the appeal to move forward - and Wingate is confident he will walk free as soon as the files are processed.

"The Office" will have some serious celebrity wattage in the seventh season finale. The NBC comedy has just lured Jim Carrey to guest star in the May 19 episode as someone who interviews for the management post that is being vacated by Michael Scott.

Carrey's participation means it becomes more difficult to guess who would be the new head at Scranton branch. There is Will Ferrell's DeAngelo Vickers for one, and then Ricky Gervais, Will Arnett, James Spader, Ray Romano, and Catherine Tate. However, shedding off the probability, Ferrell is not scheduled to be in the finale. Romano is also the lead in TNT comedy-drama "Men of a Certain Age".

As "Thor" U.S. release comes closer, Marvel unleashed a special viral video for the upcoming movie about the God of Thunder. Titled "Little Thor", the video spoofs the famous Volkswagen ad which led Little Darth Vader to become an internet sensation after the commercial was premiered on Super Bowl earlier this year.

Armed with a big hammer and dressed in his superhero costume, Little Thor goes through the same scenes as fellow Little Vader. He wanders around the house, trying to unleash his lighting power to strike the washing machine, the dog and the doll. Frustrated by the fact that nothing happens with his objects of experiment, Little Thor then tries it out on his father's car.

On Wednesday, April 20, the two-third of the Jonas Brothers played football on the beach in the Aloha State shirtless. Photo of the two flaunting their toned torsos and bulging biceps soon made it online.

Aside from playing football on the beach, the pop singer brothers were also spotted taking a dip in the ocean. At one point, Nick was seen sporting a gold rimmed aviator sunglasses. Missing from the snaps was Joe and Nick's older brother Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle.

Josh Brolin Joins Sean Penn and Ryan Gosling in 'Gangster Squad' Talks

Late last month, it was reported that Sean Penn and Ryan Gosling were extended offers by Warner Bros to star in "Tales from the Gangster Squad". The story is strengthened today with the announcement that these two have had negotiations with the studio and may star opposite Josh Brolin who is newly-added to the equation.

The potentially star-studded movie is based on a series of Los Angeles Times articles which put the scope on the life of mobster Mickey Cohen, the role which could be Penn's. Gosling and Brolin, according to Deadline, are in talks to play two cops assigned to bring him down when the gangster's penchant for violence leaves the blood of innocents on the street.

Elijah and Seth, along with Danny McBride, play the younger versions of Mike D, Adam "MCA" Yauch, and Ad-Rock. In one of the scenes, they are seen engaged in an epic dance battle with Jack and Will who play their future selves along with John C. Reilly.
