Tamar Kaprelian has a classic story of being discovered more or less at random. At the age of 15, she was approached by a talent scout when singing with a school group at a local mall. The fairy tale story was not meant to be her destiny though. She parted ways with her label but when she was on her own, she was discovered more or less off the street again and later caught the attention of Ryan Tedder through her YouTube video.

She was signed to Interscope and released her debut album "Sinner or a Saint", filled with catchy pop songs, across the United States on August 24. In an exclusive interview with AceShowbiz, the 24-year-old singer/songwriter recalled the story of her dream-comes-true and also explained more about the effort and its songwriting process. She also shared about her experience of doing shows with Far East Movement and who else she wants to work with.

Kate Middleton has followed the footsteps of Princess Diana, taking pictures with fashion photographer Mario Testino. The fiancee of Prince William reportedly had her first glamorous shoot soon after she and the 28-year-old heir to the throne announced their engagement on November 16.

A spokeswoman at William's office confirmed to People that Testino has taken "some engagement photographs", which are going to be released for publication in the near future. William was also involved during the shoot, with Testino recently saying "William is a very photogenic person ... self-confident, relaxed, impressive - and so much like his mother. Travis frontman Fran Healy has canceled a series of solo gigs in North America over a "personal issue" and to spend "some time" with his son. The singer was due to perform in Montreal and Quebec in Canada last month but he called off the shows, taking to his website to tell fans: "Hey my Canadian friends, so sorry I had to pull these shows. Some personal stuff came up which meant I had to make the hard decision to abort the gigs. I will return. Full refunds will be given."

George Clooney has planned to turned West End's "Enron" stage into a movie, The Observer reports. The site additionally says the American actor/filmmaker will make the big screen adaptation without hiring the original director and cast members.

Rumor has it, the "The American" star is on board to produce and is likely to serve as director for the film, too. Lucy Prebble, who wrote the U.K. play, is reportedly booked to provide a script for the upcoming movie project.

Billed to portray Gwen Stacy in untitled Spider-Man reboot, Emma Stone has changed her hair color to resemble the fiction character. On Sunday, December 5, the 22-year-old actress showed off her new blonde locks when appearing on the red carpet of Trevor Live at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California, giving an early look at how she will be seen as the love interest of Peter Parker.

Though she was widely recognized with her red hair, Stone's natural hair color is actually blonde. Learning this, director Marc Webb said when announcing her casting, "Much to my surprise, it was fun to find out that our choice for Gwen (Stone) is also a natural blonde."

Just a week after posting a music video for Rocko-assisted song "I Can't Help It", T.I. premieres a clip in support of another track "No Mercy". In this video, he shares screen with The-Dream and does some soul searching in what looks like a church.

Yogi is a bear inhabiting Jellystone Park who claims he is "smarter than the average bear". As greedy Mayor Brown decides to shut down the park due to business reasoning, Yogi and Boo Boo will be tossed out of the only home they've ever known. Faced with his biggest challenge ever, Yogi and Boo Boo join forces with their old nemesis Ranger Smith to find a way to save Jellystone Park from closing forever.

Busta Rhymes, T.I. and Big Boi led tributes to late rapper Pimp C on the third anniversary of the star's death. Pimp C, real name Chad Butler, died on December 4, 2007 after suffering an accidental drug overdose complicated by a pre-existing sleep disorder.

On Saturday, December 4 Butler's pals took to Twitter.com to remember the hip-hop star and mark the anniversary of his passing. Rhymes honored Butler's UGK bandmate Bun B for continuing the act's legacy, writing, "RIP and salute 2 (to) Pimp C and we honor the big homie (Bun B) 4 (for) so properly preserving the value of the UGK brand and legacy!! "Hellboy" star Ron Perlman is limping around Hollywood after ripping his meniscus on the set of Ryan Gosling's new film "Drive". The injury-prone star fears he'll need surgery after a wave blindsided him while he was filming a scene at the beach in Santa Monica, California - and left him with a shattered kneecap.

He tells WENN, "It's hard to walk on it. I think I'm gonna need surgery; there's some structural damage in there. We shot the scene during high tide at 3.30 in the morning and my back was to the ocean." Now Perlman, 60, fears his latest onset injury, combined with all the others he's experienced will leave him limping to his grave: "When I'm 80 I'm gonna be a mess, so hopefully I'm not gonna make it to 80.

"Desperate Housewives" is airing a big episode before taking a long holiday break. In "Down the Block There's a Riot", Paul's nefarious plan for Wisteria Lane is put into full effect, Juanita discovers Gaby's secret, Bree invites Keith to move in with her, and Tom is confronted about his past indiscretion with Renee.

The new episode, where there will be cars smashed and gun loaded, airs December 12 on ABC. The preview shows that Susan falls victim to the stampede and lies motionless on the street. But it is unlikely that Susan is 'gone' for Teri Hatcher previously debunked the story that she's quitting, saying "I'm joyful to be involved to this day and that's not going to change."

Celebrity supercouples Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis became a dream dinner quartet on the set of "The Tourist" in Venice, Italy - when their kids bonded over video games. Jolie and Depp teamed up for the fast-paced thriller and became firm friends, inviting their partners to join them for starry nights out.

Jolie tells WENN, "At the end of the day we all got together, Brad and myself and Johnny and Vanessa and our boys ended up playing video games all night long and we'd drink wine and talk. It was just lovely."

"The Simpsons" had waited for a very long time before it got a big screen treatment in 2007. And after "The Simpsons Movie" was responded well by fans, filmmakers have an idea to make a sequel to the animation as the show's executive producer James L. Brooks reveals, "We're open to it."

"It was a huge success and we're very open to it and we have a beginning notion if we want to do it," Brooks says in an interview with Coming Soon, referring to the performance of the first movie adaptation. He, however, adds, "But the series always comes first with us. The series is always primary to us."

On Saturday, December 4, the live airing of German TV show "Wetten Dass" was marred with a terrible accident. A contestant named Samuel Koch injured himself when trying to jump over cars on the stage. In respect of the accident, Justin Bieber who was scheduled to sing on that day pulled out his performance.

"Just want to let my people in Germany know I won't be on Wetten Dass tonight as an accident has taken place and we all don't think it is right to continue. Please pray for Samuel Koch & his family as we wait and hope for his health and safety," he tweeted. "The King's Speech" has been hailed at the 13th annual British Independent Film Awards. The movie was a favorite at numerous film festivals and now collects its prizes from the Sunday, December 5 prize-giving event.

The drama film takes the coveted title of Best Film in addition to helping Colin Firth win Best Actor kudo. Helena Bonham Carter and Geoffrey Rush are named Best Supporting Actress and Actor respectively, with the actress additionally honored with Richard Harris Award. A little girl with a big voice, 10-year-old Jackie Evancho won the America's hearts with her rare talent. Goo Goo Dolls frontman John Rzeznik has become the latest star to stop tweeting to fans because he's convinced his followers on Twitter.com don't care what he had for breakfast. The "Iris" hitmaker admits he was among the celebrities who became hooked on Twitter when it first became a phenomenon - but he started realizing he had nothing of importance to write about and now merely reads Steve Martin's amusing tweets.

Rap mogul Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs has distanced himself from a controversy stemming from a breast cancer benefit he hosted in October, amid allegations charity bosses have yet to receive any of the funds raised. The hip-hop star threw a special Pink Party at club Glo in New York to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month and boost donations to local causes, including the Long Island Plastic Surgical Group Foundation and 1 in 9: The Long Island Breast Cancer Action Coalition.

Combs was reportedly paid $80,000 (GBP53,300) to host the bash, which saw guests charged a $10 (GBP6) entry fee and $1,000 (GBP670) to party with the star in the VIP section, but charity bosses are fuming - because they're still waiting to see any of the donations. Former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss is set to ruffle feathers in a new reality TV show - about her collection of exotic birds. Fleiss has signed a deal to shoot a pilot for the Animal Planet channel about her 20-strong collection of parrots and other feathery friends.

The show will focus on how Fleiss turned her back on running a prostitution business to caring for winged creatures and will show how she lets the birds fly freely around her Las Vegas home, according to TMZ.com.

VH1 divas, Katy Perry, Keri Hilson, Nicki Minaj and Jennifer Nettles, paid homage to the troops in a concert held at the Marine Corps air hangar in San Diego aired on December 5. Rocker Shaun Ryder has finished in second place on U.K. reality TV show "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!". The Happy Mondays frontman spent three weeks living in the Australian jungle with fellow stars including former "Bond" girl Britt Ekland and Olympic gold medalist Linford Christie.

He came second in the viewers' final vote on Saturday, December 4, losing out to former "The X Factor" finalist Stacey Solomon. Take That star Howard Donald's alleged mistress has spoken out about how she battled depression after the star silenced her with a court-ordered injunction earlier this year. Donald called in his legal team after he discovered Adakini Ntuli was preparing to share details about their time together with the press.

A judge at a London court granted him a "super-injunction" in April, which banned the publication of any details of the legal battle. Ntuli appealed against the decision and part of the ruling was lifted in November. Now Ntuli, who began dating Donald in 2000, has revealed her devastation after Donald kept their romance secret for nine-years - and claims she was admitted to hospital with depression after he legally banned her from telling her story.

Embattled rap mogul Suge Knight spent Friday, December 3 night behind bars after a warrant was issued for his arrest for failing to appear in a Los Angeles court. The former Death Row Records' CEO was expected to show for a hearing on November 23 in relation to a charge of driving on a suspended license and running a stop sign in September.

But he skipped the court appearance and a $40,000 bench warrant was subsequently issued for his detention, according to TMZ.com. Cops took him into custody late on Friday and he was booked at the West Hollywood police station shortly afterwards.

Charlie Sheen's estranged wife Brooke Mueller has checked into a Los Angeles sober living facility, just weeks after denying she had returned to rehab. Mueller entered a treatment facility in California in February in a bid to deal with personal issues, following her bust-up with her actor husband in Aspen, Colorado last Christmas.

Reports surfaced last month that the mother of Sheen's twin sons had returned to rehab over America's Thanksgiving holiday. The claims were vehemently denied by Mueller, who insisted she was "healthy and happy".

A man arrested for trespassing on Sylvester Stallone's Los Angeles estate in August finally got to meet his hero on Saturday, December 4 - after waiting outside the star's weekend hangout without his top on.

According to TMZ.com, Damon T. Dana - who was reportedly arrested after scaling the gates of the Rambo star's home in the summer - waited outside Stallone's Saturday brunch spot Cafe Roma in L.A. in a bid to meet the action man.

Dane Cook's half-brother has been ordered to pay $12 million in restitution after he was convicted of embezzling millions of dollars from the comedian. Darryl McCauley, who worked as the funnyman's business manager for almost five years, was arrested in Massachusetts in December 2008, accused of stealing from Cook by forging a cheque to himself.

In October he was sentenced to between five and six years in prison for larceny, forgery and embezzlement. His wife, Erica McCauley, was also sentenced for up to three years behind bars.

Roman Polanski's tense political thriller "The Ghost Writer" swept the board at the European Film Awards on Saturday, December 4, taking home six honors. The "Rosemary's Baby" director was shooting the movie when he was arrested in Zurich, Switzerland in September last year over a 33-year-old child sex charge.

He was released in July after Swiss officials refused to extradite him to the U.S. and he returned to his adopted homeland of France. And Polanski refused to run the risk of being arrested again to accept his awards at the event in Estonia - he thanked voters for their support via internet video software Skype.

Walt Disney Pictures is gearing up to the release of "Tron Legacy" and has sent the stars for promotional duty. On December 5, Olivia Wilde and Jeff Bridges premiered the movie across the pond at Empire Leicester Square in London, England.

She relies on a "support team" including her parents and personal counselor to help her navigate negotiations - because she's too "impulsive" to be a good businesswoman. Michael Douglas showed the strain of his cancer battle after resorting to an electronic wheelchair for a day out at an amusement park with his family. "Tangled" has emerged on the peak of North American Box Office on its second weekend. After giving a strong competition to "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" last week, the new take on Rapunzel tale claims the first spot with $21.6 million.

"Quality rises to the top," Disney distribution boss Chuck Viane comments on the film's receipts. "Meantime, we have the holidays ahead of us, and therein lies the strength of our long-term prospects." The animation, which is released in 2D and 3D, has made a total of $96.6 million cume so far.

P. Diddy finally got his share of a "Saturday Night Live" sketch. Last week, the rapper pleaded the writers of the show to give him a bit with host Robert De Niro, writing on Twitter that Jonah Hill and Judd Apatow will give them a good recommendation of him.

Turns out, it was made a deal. Diddy who, along with his Dirty Money girls, was the musical guest, appeared in a sketch where De Niro is a drag and Diddy is a rapper quite taken by her. De Niro's character is the mom of hapless rapper Blizzard Man, played by Andy Samberg. The mom put some dance moves for Diddy's pleasure.

Actor Michael Brea was arraigned on charges of second-degree murder on Friday, December 3 after his mum was allegedly stabbed to death with a sword.
