Struggling to overcome their grief, they join a support group meeting as previewed in the snippet, but Kidman's Becca could not agree with another pair's statement mentioning that God took their son.

In another effort to promote the drama movie, Lionsgate Films has released a new poster. It sees Becca and Eckhart's Howie Corbett with glimpses of their various expressions, from being passionate to grieving.

The annual celebration of Christmas in Rockefeller Center was made merry with live performances not only from big stars like Mariah Carey but also from young rising star like Jackie Evancho. The other musical guests included Josh Groban, Jessica Simpson, Kylie Minogue, Susan Boyle and Charice.

Having completed his cancer treatment, Michael Douglas is going to be back acting in front of camera soon. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 66-year-old actor says he has started preparing for his role in "Liberace", which will mark his first movie post his battle with throat cancer.

"I've got a bunch of tapes of performances," Douglas, who will portray famously flamboyant performer Liberace in the Steven Soderbergh-directed movie, says on his role. "I'm thinking; I'm a blank slate. Everything shows me he was a lovely man; I just want to reconfirm that."

Rihanna has reached out to Susan Boyle about a duet, insisting she'd love to collaborate with the Scottish singing sensation. The "I Dreamed a Dream" hitmaker revealed in November that she's a big fan of the "Umbrella" star, and is keen to test her R&B talents with the singer.

Boyle said, "There are certain types of music that you're good at and certain types that you're not. I mean, would I be good at R&B? I suppose you never know. Michael Jackson's father Joe has refiled a wrongful death lawsuit in California after a federal judge insisted the case needed to be heard in a state court. Joe Jackson launched legal action against the star's personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray in a federal court in August, accusing him of administering a fatal dose of anesthetic Propofol, which led to Michael's death in June 2009.

Jackson alleges he was being supported by the "Thriller" hitmaker at the time of his passing - a claim which gives him the necessary legal standing to pursue a wrongful death suit. U.S. District Judge John F. Walter ruled in November that some of the legal issues needed to be handled in a state court - and Jackson's lawyer refiled the documents at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday, November 30, according to TMZ.com.

A paparazzo has filed an assault report against Justin Bieber's bodyguard, accusing the man of injuring him outside a New York hotel last week. Photographer Jason Nicholas claims he was hurt as he attempted to snap the "Baby" hitmaker when the star left the London Hotel in the Big Apple on Friday, November 26.

Nicholas alleges Bieber's bodyguard became "super aggressive" in a bid to stop him taking pictures - and he was left with back pain after the clash. The snapper tells E! News, "Bieber comes out with a small group, two bodyguards, one handler and one other person. Without blocking the door I stuck my camera out with my arm and shot him. (The bodyguard) snapped. He shoved me up against the SUV."

Johnny Depp is determined to tackle Hamlet before he's "too old" for the role - because late Hollywood veteran Marlon Brando wanted him to star in the William Shakespeare tragedy. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" hunk reveals a meeting with the late Brando inspired him to study Shakespeare so he could play the Danish prince - and Depp is hoping to realize his dream in the future.

He tells Vanity Fair magazine, "(Marlon Brando said) 'Why don't you just take a year and go and study Shakespeare, or go and study Hamlet? Go and work on Hamlet and play that part. Play that part before you're too old'."

Chiodos have made public a music video filmed to support their latest single "Caves". In the clip directed by John Stephens, this post-hardcore band take their performance to the desert, not caring about the sun blazing hot, let alone the fact that there is no one in sight to watch them.

"Caves" is taken from Chiodos' third studio album "Illuminaudio" which has been in stores since October this year. The effort becomes the band's first release since Brandon Bolmer and Tanner Wayne joined them to replace singer Craig Owens and drummer Derrick Frost respectively.

Bryan Singer is lining up actors to take the lead roles in "Jack the Giant Killer". The Hollywood Reporter (THR) says the helmer and New Line Cinema are planning to hold tests in London within the next two weeks in search of the male and female leads, but no date has been set yet as schedules are still being worked out.

The official life story of slain rap legend Tupac Shakur is heading to bookstores, more than 14 years after his tragic murder. Author Kevin Powell has won the approval from the star's mother, Afeni Shakur, to study Tupac's rise to fame and fortune in the first authorized work about the late icon since he was fatally shot in September 1996.

And Powell reveals he will have lots of memories to draw from for "Tupac Shakur: The Authorised Biography" because he had formed a close bond with the Changes lyricist in the years before his tragic death. In a statement, he says, "It is an honor to write what will be the definitive biography on the life and times of Tupac Shakur, one of the greatest icons in hip-hop and pop culture history."

Bono kicked off World AIDS Day in Australia on Wednesday, December 1 by calling on people to demand their country's government officials provide more financial help to fight the disease during the global recession.

Rap mogul Master P has threatened to take legal action against a woman in Tennessee who is under federal investigation for using his name to promote a fake charitable organization. Alisa R. Harris is accused of running the Corey Miller Food Foundation and linking various websites for the bogus cause to Master P and his incarcerated brother, Corey 'C-Murder' Miller, without their authorization.

Harris allegedly uses the websites to hire ex-convicts and people on welfare to appeal for cash donations over the phone for the charity, but the scandal was exposed after an investigation by Memphis' Action News 5 network.

A man convicted of stalking Uma Thurman has been placed under medics' observation by police in Maryland after he was arrested for allegedly violating a restraining order filed against him by the Hollywood actress.

Jack Jordan was found guilty of fourth-degree stalking and one count of second-degree aggravated harassment by a jury in 2008 after he bombarded Thurman with notes and letters, and threatened to kill himself outside her New York home in 2005.

Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry is challenging herself further by playing a stripper suffering from multiple personality disorder in "Frankie and Alice". A trailer for the film is now provided in advance of the limited released on February 4, 2011, seeing Berry as a patient and a glamorous woman in another moment.

Winona Ryder presented Natalie Portman with a small gift after they finished filming "Black Swan" to apologize for the "horrible" lines she had to deliver as her on-screen rival. Ryder plays a prima ballerina who is replaced by Portman's younger dancer character in a production of Swan Lake in the dark drama - and insists she felt guilty for making so many cruel jibes.

Rocker Travis Barker wants to spread his love of music by donating drum kits to New York schools to encourage at-risk youths to steer clear of drugs and alcohol and channel their energy into making beats.

The Blink-182 drummer has teamed up with H2O star Toby Morse's charitable organization One Life One Chance to promote a life of sobriety among students and they are making special deliveries in the upcoming months to gift select schools in the Big Apple with between 10 to 20 full drum kits a year.

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong is returning to the Broadway stage - he will take part in 50 upcoming performances of his punk rock musical "American Idiot". Armstrong will reprise the role of St. Jimmy in the show inspired by Green Day's songs after original cast member Tony Vincent bows out on December 30, producers announced on Tuesday, November 30.

The rocker - who composed and co-wrote the show - will kick off the New Year as a Broadway star, making appearances from 1 to 9 January in 2011, and again from 18 to 30 January and 10 to 27 February.

Kid Rock has launched a bitter attack against ticket scalpers trying to profit from his upcoming 40th birthday party show in his native Detroit, Michigan after the concert sold out within 19 minutes of going on sale. The "All Summer Long" hitmaker announced plans to celebrate the milestone age with fans at a special January 15, 2011 gig at Ford Field, which is to be renamed 40 Field for the night.

The show, which takes place two days before his actual birthday, will kick off his 2011 Born Free Tour, but it's already gotten off to a bad start - more than 45,000 tickets were snapped up last week and Rock has since learned a heap of stubs are being traded online at hugely inflated prices. Model-turned-reality TV star Janice Dickinson contemplated suicide as she battled a prescription drug addiction in rehab after suffering crippling anxiety attacks, insomnia and tremors. The fashion icon signed up to participate in TV series "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" after realizing she had become hooked on sedatives.

The cameras captured Dickinson's hell as she struggled to get clean in July - and the star admits the experience was so difficult, she wanted to take her own life. She tells Britain's OK! magazine, "I was taped 24/7. I went to a treatment center for 18 days. I had panic attacks, tremors, sleepless nights, thoughts of suicide - I was walking around with a lot of fear."

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have been named the Most Stylish Celebrity Couple by fashion magazine InStyle. The actors, who play onscreen lovers in the "Twilight" franchise and are rumored to be dating in real life, topped the poll with the publication's editors praising Pattinson's "public-school boy style" and Stewart's "laidback American approach to fashion".

The nominations of 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards have been announced on Tuesday, November 30 in Los Angeles by Jeremy Renner and Eva Mendes. And some movies which have received Oscar buzz such as "127 Hours" and "Black Swan" are touted for Best Feature at the upcoming Spirit Awards.

Stemming from FOX's success in launching "Glee", ABC is going full throttle with its plan to produce two musical series. Coming next Fall are two music-themed series which has Tony-winning actress Idina Menzel in one of them and "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure" writer Robert Horn in the other.

Both projects are still untitled but the details have already emerged via Deadline. Menzel, who had a guest starring role on "Glee", is going to play a single mother of a teenager who tries to make ends meet by taking jobs as wedding singer and waitress. The one-hour drama reflects her own life experience before she became a big star on Broadway.

Susan Boyle had voice malfunction during her live performance in "The View" on November 30. The "Britain's Got Talent" alum performed holiday classic "O Holy Night" which was re-recorded for her latest No. 1 album "The Gift", but halted it halfway through the set.

Boyle started her performance smoothly with her signature angel voice before her voice cracked. She did try to finish the set but after a couple of notes, her voice failed her again and then she gave a sign to turn down the music. Sir Paul McCartney is celebrating the re-release of his famed Wings album "Band on the Run" by launching a pop-up radio station in honor of the record. The former Beatle is teaming up with U.S.-based Sirius XM to form Band on the Run Radio, which begins its month-long broadcast on Monday, December 6.

McCartney will host a special show about the making of Wings' 1973 album, while he will also discuss other records from his back catalog. Scott Greenstein, president of Sirius XM, says, "We're celebrating the music from his whole career, with focus on that legendary and very underrated album."

Angelina Jolie has ruled out expanding her family with partner Brad Pitt, insisting their six youngsters need more attention before they welcome another brother or sister. The "Tomb Raider" star shares three adopted and three biological children with Pitt and admits she's too busy to think about adding another into the brood.

Mary J. Blige is in talks to star in a big screen adaptation of hit Broadway musical "Rock of Ages". The popular stage production scored a number of award nominations last year and studio bosses at New Line Cinemas are hoping they will emulate the success when the film version hits cinemas next year.

Tom Cruise is rumored to be close to accepting a supporting role in the musical, which will also reportedly star Taylor Swift, and now producers are negotiating with soul queen Blige to come aboard. Blige is set to take the role of The Venus Club's owner while Cruise reportedly considered a role as bad-guy singer Stacee Jaxx.

Former teen idol David Cassidy has pleaded not guilty to a DUI charge stemming from his arrest in Florida earlier this month. The former Partridge Family star was driving along the state's famous Turnpike freeway when cops in Fort Pierce spotted his Mercedes swerving erratically and pulled over the vehicle.

The 60-year-old actor/singer allegedly failed two roadside sobriety tests, but a representative for the star subsequently denied Cassidy was drunk behind the wheel. The star's lawyers appeared in a Florida court on Tuesday, November 30 morning to enter a not guilty plea on his behalf. The plea was submitted in writing and Cassidy was not in attendance, according to TMZ.com.

Courteney Cox and David Arquette are not the only "Scream" stars whose marriage is wrecked for their co-star Neve Campbell reportedly has decided that it is over between her and husband John Light. TMZ reports the depicter of Sidney Prescott has "super secretly" filed for divorce five months ago.

The divorce is not yet finalized. And according to the documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court and obtained by the site, the 37-year-old actress called it quits in June this year, citing irreconcilable differences. Neve allegedly also wanted the court from awarding John any spousal support.

Stephen Dorff is planning to star alongside his pal Jack Nicholson in a new comedy film, which he is writing himself. The actor tests his comic skills by playing a porn star in new movie "Born to Be a Star", which is produced by Adam Sandler's Happy Madison film company.

He is re-teaming with the funnyman's firm to bring his own comedy idea to the big screen, and although the project is in its early stages, Dorff has big ideas for his writing debut. Piers Morgan has become the proud owner of a pub near his home in London. The British journalist-turned-TV star, who takes over Larry King's U.S. chat show in January, has invested in the Hansom Cab, a drinking establishment close to the house he owns in upmarket Kensington.

Morgan's brother Rupert, who previously worked at Guy Ritchie's London pub The Punch Bowl, will manage the venture, and the "America's Got Talent" star hopes the Hansom will soon rival the movie director's star-studded venue.

Courteney Cox continues to host family dinners with her husband David Arquette following their split - so their young daughter Coco can see the couple is still "close and harmonious". The future of Leslie Nielsen's final film is in doubt because the animated movie's creator is still hunting for investors to finance the project's completion.
