Rachel Weisz has signed on to take a role in "360", a sex drama based on Arthur Schnitzler's play "Reigen" which inspired French drama "La Ronde", Variety reports. For the upcoming project, the 40-year-old British will team up with Fernando Meirelles, whom she previously worked with in "The Constant Gardener" which helped her snatch Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

The original play, which has provided the dramatic structure for scores of plays and films, consists of short scenes between couples, shown before or after a sexual liaison. After each scene, one character from the pairing is then shown with another partner, who is then shown with another partner, and so on. Finally, the promiscuity comes full circle.

Dave Annable will get to channel his love to Odette Yustman on TV screen. The real-life couple will share some scenes on Annable's starring vehicle "Brothers & Sisters" as lovers, E! Online reported and ABC has confirmed.

This is somehow an echo to previous casting when Annable was still dating Emily VanCamp. The actress portrays Rebecca, who was initially thought as part of the Walkers clan before it was revealed that they were from different parents. "Twilight" movie executives have denied reports the upcoming "Breaking Dawn" films will be released in 3D. The franchise's leading actress Kristen Stewart prompted speculation earlier this summer that the pictures would be shot with the latest technology for a 3D cinema release, saying, "I think it would be awesome."

But Summit Entertainment chiefs insist the rumor concerning the two "Breaking Dawn" films, set for release next year and in 2012, is "fabricated". A representative for the company tells GossipCop.com, "Neither film is being shot in 3D."

Semi Precious Weapons have made public an official uncensored music video for their latest single "Look at Me". Frontman Justin Tranter plays a narrator to a lesbian couple who is engaged in a steamy bedroom joint.

Late actor Dennis Hopper's valuable works of art are set to go up for auction in New York - and they're expected to gain $13 million. The creations came under the spotlight before the "Easy Rider" star's death in May, when he filed legal papers accusing his estranged wife Victoria Duffy of stealing art pieces from him while he was battling cancer.

"Boardwalk Empire" opened to a strong number and for that it's granted a second season. HBO has renewed the new series starring Steve Buscemi after only one episode that attracted 4.8 million viewers. The cable has not absorbed such amount of rating since the 2004 opener of "Deadwood".

Spencer Pratt has shared a bloody process of him shaving his overgrown beard. Country music star Dierks Bentley raised $50,000 for charity at a rain-soaked biker rally show in Seattle, Washington on Saturday, September 18. The 34 year old battled through torrential rain to perform at the Miles & Music for Kids motorcycle ride and concert, which was staged to raise funds for Seattle Children's Hospital.

Stone Temple Pilots have scrapped a trio of Texas shows, sparking rumors of trouble on tour. A show in El Paso on Tuesday night, September 21, as well as Lubbock and Corpus Christi gigs, have been postponed without reason. The news, announced by the El Paso Times newspaper on Tuesday, comes less than two days after the rockers hit the stage in Houston, Texas an hour late and frontman Scott Weiland rambled on about his drug addiction and marriage breakdown.

Hugh Jackman's new movie "Real Steel" briefly caused chaos in rural Michigan on Sunday night, September 21 when a camera helicopter hooked a power line. No one was injured but the incident closed a main road and cut off a power supply to Sheridan Township.

Local Sheriff Kelly J. Hanson tells the Huron Daily Tribune the helicopter, which was equipped with a front-mounted camera, experienced "directional control issues" after snagging the power line.

As expected Vincent D'Onofrio is returning to "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and this means the series will be back for the tenth and final season. Months-long deals have been taking place to bring back the depicter of Detective Robert Goren so that USA Network could give the show a proper closure.

Announced at the same time, the casting and the renewal confirm that the "Law & Order" franchise is taking a bow due to a decline in rating. Pop superstar Cher will bring the curtain down on her Las Vegas residency for the final time on February 5, 2011. The "Believe" singer has been a regular fixture at the Caesars Palace hotel and casino's Colosseum theater since signing a three-year deal with venue bosses in 2008.

But, after performing around 200 shows at the arena, she will wrap her "Cher at the Colosseum" show for good next year, with the last leg of concerts kicking off in January next year. Police officials in Detroit, Michigan have appealed to Aretha Franklin's son to get in touch with them and report his gas station assault following the brutal beating on Monday night, September 20. The Queen of Soul's 52-year-old son, Eddie Franklin, was attacked on the forecourt of a garage while a female companion was inside the store.

He was admitted to hospital where he underwent emergency surgery, but he had left the building by the time cops stopped by to investigate the incident. Jennifer Lopez's ex-husband has been told not to audition for a spot on the new season of "American Idol" because he won't be welcomed. Godzilla was haunting New York citizens in the 1998 film but it will likely meet an equal opponent in the remake. Speaking to zennie62.com, producer Brian Rogers says that forthcoming "Godzilla" will feature at least one other monster which the title character will face off.

"The Sopranos" star James Gandolfini's truck was impounded by Hollywood police after he was caught driving on a suspended license on Tuesday morning, September 21. The actor's vehicle was pulled over after he ran through a stop sign while talking on his cell phone.

Officers subsequently discovered Gandolfini had temporarily been banned from driving and a tow truck was called to the scene to take his vehicle to a police impound, where it will be held for the next 30 days, reports TMZ. He calls a friend to pick him up from the roadside.

Sandra Bullock has been targeted in legal papers filed by her ex-husband Jesse James' former partner, who accuses the actress of telling her daughter she lied to police. The reality star and Bullock were granted full guardianship of little Sunny in 2009 after porn star Janine Lindemulder, James' second wife, was sentenced to six months in jail for tax evasion.
