Robert Pattinson is reportedly landing another film project. According to Spunk-Ransom, a Robert Pattinson fansite, the "Twilight" thesp has signed up to star in a remake version of 2004 "Dark Arc" with a major studio behind this forthcoming movie.

Beside Pattinson, Emma Watson has reportedly sealed the deal to join the film. The two are said to tackle two of the three lead roles. Casey Affleck, meanwhile, is allegedly still in talks to portray the other main character.

Tuesday night pair on The CW has officially kicked off their new seasons on September 14. "One Tree Hill" will return next week with "I Can't See You But I Know You're There" where Clay and Quinn discover they've been shot, and as they fight to live, Nathan and Haley struggle with the situation. Meanwhile, Julian tries to preoccupy Jamie, and Brooke's legal troubles mount.

"Life Unexpected" takes over the 9/8c slot with "Parents Unemployed". Cate and Baze are summoned to the principal's office at Lux's school and are shocked to learn that Lux is failing and must make a drastic improvement in her grades or risk being kicked out.

Justin Bieber is in talks to star in Will Smith's new movie. The "Baby" hitmaker met Smith while recording "Never Say Never" - the theme song for "The Karate Kid" - with the film's star Jaden Smith, and he took the opportunity to express his interest in acting.

And, after shooting an appearance on TV drama "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", he has a "top secret" development deal with producer and star Smith. Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, confirms the 16 year old is working on a feature film produced by Smith and his company, Overbrook.

One week away from the season 2 premiere, "Glee" tides fans over with the audio of "Empire State of Mind" cover. Debuted via Sirius XM radio on Tuesday, September 14, the song originally sung by Jay-Z is notably rapped by Kevin McHale's Artie, Cory Monteith's Finn and Mark Salling's Puck. Meanwhile, Alicia Keys' part is tackled by Amber Riley's Mercedes.

The album is dropped in stores across the United States on September 14, featuring 11 explicit tracks such as "Swag Sex" and "Pulling on Her Hair". The former is featuring Soulja Boy while the latter has Rick Ross as featured rapper.

Country star Wynonna Judd has shed 60 pounds (27.2 kilograms) by "walking in the wilderness" and meditating. The former heavyweight singer showed off her slimline new look on Tuesday's "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in America, and confessed she "went to hell and back" in an effort to get healthy.

She says, "In my darkest hour I had a choice to make - I could be a victim or a victor - and I just started walking in the wilderness and screaming at God... and I just kept walking and the next thing I know I like to walk, so I call it meditative walking versus 'I've gotta be in the Olympics'."

Cult rockers The New Pornographers have been forced to scrap a college gig in Michigan - because of their name. The group, fronted by acclaimed singer/songwriter A.C. Newman, was scheduled to perform at Calvin College on October 15 but the school's Christian officials have vetoed the gig.

A statement from the college reads, "After weeks of discussion and consideration, the irony of the band's name was impossible to explain to many. The band's name, to some, is mistakenly associated with pornography. Consequently, Calvin, to some, was mistakenly associated with pornography. Neither the college nor the band endorses pornography."

No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal is preparing to welcome his first child into the world in 2011. The rocker's girlfriend Erin Lokitz is pregnant and the pair is already teaching the unborn tot about music.

On the band's website, a statement reads, "(They are) extremely happy to announce that they are expecting their first child early next year. The couple is overwhelmed with joy and excited to meet their new little one." Kanal adds, "We're feeding our baby a healthy diet of Bob Marley, The Clash, Prince and of course No Doubt."

Former Spice Girls star Melanie Brown has been targeted in a new lawsuit over allegations she backed out of an investment deal to star in a saucy Las Vegas revue. In a lawsuit filed at Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, September 14, the British singer is accused of fraud and breach of contract by bosses at BMEDIA, who allegedly handed over $500,000 to Brown in 2008 to invest in future projects.

The suit claims that Brown's team promised she had albums and concerts in the pipeline, but the star reneged on the deal to perform in adults-only extravaganza Peep Show last year.

"Everybody Loves Raymond" actress Doris Roberts has laughed off rumors she hates rival veteran Betty White - hailing the star as a "leader" for senior citizen celebrities. The beloved 79 year old was reported to be jealous of the "Golden Girls" star's recent return to favor, which has seen her land a string of acting roles and a hosting slot on hit U.S. sketch show "Saturday Night Live" at the age of 88.

But Roberts, who played Ray Romano's fussing mother on the now defunct sitcom, is adamant she has nothing but admiration for her aging peer. She tells UsMagazine.com. "Why would I not want the best for her? She's great! I admire her tremendously."

Jodie Foster has been cleared over allegations she attacked a teenage photographer in May - police have refused to file charges. The Oscar winner was accused of lashing out at a 17 year old at The Grove shopping center in Los Angeles after his father filed an official police report stating the actress has "pushed and shoved" his son.

The "Silence of the Lambs" star's representative vehemently denied the claims, and insisted the teen was a paparazzo who had hounded Foster and her kids for hours. And the L.A. authorities have sided with Foster - no charges will be brought against the star over the allegations.

Actor Casey Affleck has settled two sexual harassment cases filed by female crew members on his Joaquin Phoenix documentary. Earlier this year Amanda White, a producer on Affleck's "I'm Still Here", filed a $2 million sexual harassment lawsuit against the star, alleging she endured "uninvited and unwelcome sexual advances in the workplace" while making the movie.

Cinematographer Magdalena Gorka filed a separate sexual harassment lawsuit against Affleck, seeking $2.25 million n damages. The deadline in the case was postponed in August as the parties met for mediation, which has resulted in a settlement.

The first promos of "Dancing with the Stars" is out and David Hasselhoff is the first one. The actor who participates in the eleventh season is making fun of himself by running slowly like in "Baywatch" and calling Kit like in "Knight Rider".

Hoff is paired with Kym Johnson who won last two season when partnered with Donny Osmond. Asked what they would name themselves, Hoff said, "Think that we're going to go with, 'Get Down Under with Team Hoff," in reference to Johnson's native Australia.

Country star Wynonna Judd refuses to speak about her ex-husband's sexual battery conviction, because she knows the young victim. D.R. Roach was arrested for the sexual assault of a pre-teen in March 2007, while Judd was touring - and she admits the scandal took her completely by surprise.

She insists she has since forgiven Roach for what he put her through - but she'll never forget what he did. Now she can only wait for his victim to come of age and speak out about what transpired - because she doesn't feel comfortable going into detail about what happened to a child she knows.

Kid Rock tried to act as peacemaker when a fight broke out between his entourage and a fellow diner at an Atlanta, Georgia restaurant in 2007, and was forced to hit back when he found himself under attack, a court has heard.

The "All Summer Long" singer headed to a DeKalb County court on Tuesday, September 14 to face a civil suit filed by Harlen Akins, who claims he was beaten up by Rock and his pals for no reason after an argument at a branch of the Atlanta Waffle House. Rock and five members of his crew are named in the lawsuit, in which they are accused of behaving "like a pack of wild animals" and picking on Akins for no apparent reason.

Josh Brolin has finally spoken out about allegations he has cheated on and beaten up his wife Diane Lane, telling the new issue of Playboy magazine, "I don't f**k around on my wife." The "W" star insists he has never been unfaithful to Lane explaining, "I mean, check her out, man." He tells the publication, "My relationship with my wife is fantastic."

The allegations of infidelity started earlier this year when Brolin was photographed kissing family friend Marley Shelton. He insists, "Marley is my wife's and my great friend. I'm an extremely affectionate guy... Marley and I were out together, turned around and saw there were cameras. That's it."

Rod Stewart has defended his decision to have another baby at 65, insisting he's "fitter than the average 45 year old." The rock legend will become a dad for the eighth time when his wife Penny Lancaster gives birth in March 2011, and the baby news has sparked criticism over his choice to play daddy again in his mid-60s.

But Stewart is adamant he has no plans of slowing down and he is "fit and healthy" enough to play dad one more time. He tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "I'm 65 and have no desire to retire any time soon as I love my career and, in that respect, I'm very lucky. I keep very fit and healthy and, with a young family, there's no holding me back."

Singer Wynonna Judd is lucky to be alive after two summer health crises. The Judds star underwent a scary procedure to repair the wall of her stomach and then suffered a near-fatal bloodclot in her heart, which should have killed her.

She says, "I was in the studio two months later with bloodclots in my lungs. 'I shouldn't be here,' they said and I said, 'Well, obviously there's a reason'." And then she was involved in a car crash when another motorist fell asleep at the wheel.

Opera star Placido Domingo is to receive the Person of the Year prize from the Latin Recording Academy on November 10. The Spanish tenor has been chosen for his professional and philanthropic achievements and will be honored at an all-star ceremony in Las Vegas on the eve of the Latin Grammy Awards.

Movie star Ryan Reynolds is stepping behind the camera to produce a new TV comedy about a group of geriatric neighborhood campaigners. Reynolds and his Dark Trick Films production company has teamed up with US network NBC to create "Mayors of Casterbridge".

The show will follow a group of "elder statesman" bidding to reclaim their neighborhood from a "young upstart" developer. The star tells GQ magazine, "Mayors fills a void in programming - more specifically, it aims to spotlight the less explored sexagenarian in all his vitality, rage, corrosive wit and bottomless immaturity."

Movie star Christina Ricci is priming Broadway fans for disappointment as her theater debut approaches, insisting she has no idea how to prepare for a stage show. The former child star signed on to replace Alicia Silverstone in the Donald Margulies' play "Time Stands Still" and she'll join thespians Laura Linney and Eric Bogosian when the drama returns to the stage for previews later this September.

But Ricci never expected the transition to theater would be so tough - and she's only got another nine days to nail her lines for the live show. She says, "I'm really scared but I'm really excited. I've done one week of rehearsals and we go to previews on the 23rd. I have one more week before previews because I'm joining a cast that's already done it... I'm the only new guy. It's really intimidating and scary... It's really not like movies at all... I thought some basic things would be the same."

Former "Friends" star David Schwimmer was stunned to find many sex predators are family men while researching his creepy new movie "Trust". The actor directs Clive Owen and Catherine Keener in the harrowing film about a teenager lured to a motel for sex by an online predator old enough to be her father, and he trawled through FBI records to learn more about the sick minds he was dealing with.

But he didn't expect to find fathers and husbands in among the sickos prowling for sex with minors in cyberspace. Schwimmer, who is a longtime activist with the Rape Foundation in Santa Monica, California, says, "A lot of these guys are married, have families. It's more frightening than the predator that's usually depicted in films, which is this weird, greasy loner that lives alone or with mum. The fact is that they are teachers, they are coaches, they're priests, they're professionals."

In anticipation of "The Vampire Diaries" season 1 soundtrack release, The CW has mashed up the lead single "Obsession" by Sky Ferreira with the show's scenes. To harmonize the tune with the footage, most of the selected scenes are those of kisses and love obsessions between Stefan and Elena, Caroline and Matt and so on.

Ferreira made a buzz earlier this year with the viral videos of her songs "17" and "One". She is working on her debut album with a number of acclaimed producers including Bloodshy & Avant, Ryan Tedder, and Linda Austin. "I'm interested in telling stories about youth and desire," Ferreira said. "Not love though, because I haven't experienced that yet." The effort will be released on January 11, 2011.

"Bond 23" may have found a new hope. After being put in an indefinite status due to MGM's financial problem, the project is allegedly back on track with plans to kick off principal photography in late summer or early fall 2011.

The good news comes along with Deadline Hollywood's report that Sam Mendes is out of the contention to direct "The Hunger Games" because he is getting ready to work behind the lens for the next James Bond movie. The site mentions "the MGM picture is clearing up" and Daniel Craig is set to reprise his role as the 007 agent next year.

Acclaimed filmmaker Spike Lee is set to direct a live webcast of John Legend's upcoming New York concert with hip-hop band The Roots later this month. Legend has teamed up with The Roots for their new collaborative album "Wake Up!" and they will perform at the Big Apple's famed Madison Square Garden on September 23.

The concert will be the second in the American Express Unstaged live series - "Monty Python" mastermind Terry Gilliam filmed the first gig with Arcade Fire in August, which streamed online as it happened. And Lee is excited about his involvement in the concert series.

50 Cent's dreams of achieving TV stardom in London's East End have been dashed - representatives for hit British soap opera "Eastenders" have shot down rumors the rapper's set to make a cameo on the show. The "In Da Club" hitmaker has become an avid fan of the long-running BBC programme after catching episodes during promotional trips to the U.K.

Tabloid reports claimed this week the hip-hop star had landed a role on his favourite show, although the negotiations came too late for him to appear opposite his favorite character, tough landlady Peggy Mitchell, played by veteran British actress Barbara Windsor, who retired her role earlier this month.

Incarcerated rapper Lil Boosie has accused authorities of singling him out for his legal troubles and targeting him as part of an "attack against hip-hop" as he fights against his latest conviction for first degree murder. The hip-hop star, real name Torrence Hatch, is currently serving a four-year sentence for violating his parole when he was busted on gun and drug counts last year.

He is also due to stand trial amid allegations he was involved in the shooting death of Terry Boyd, who was killed at his home in Louisiana in October 2009. Boosie entered a not guilty plea following his indictment in June and he has now hit out at police detectives for what he claims is an ongoing and "unjust" clamp down on hip-hop culture and lifestyle.

Rocker Brandon Flowers has another reason to celebrate after scoring his first solo number one in the U.K. - his wife Tana is pregnant with their third child. The Killers star's debut solo album "Flamingo" topped the British charts on Sunday, September 12 and now his representative has confirmed there's more happy news in his home life as the couple prepares to expand its family.

The star and his wife are already parents to sons Ammon, three, and Gunnar, 13 months, reports People.com. They wed in a small, private ceremony on August 2, 2005 at a Hawaiian hotel.

Actress Kristen Bell is putting her musical talents to the test - she's planning to take piano lessons after "accidentally" buying one at a parking lot sale. The "Heroes" star admits she can't resist a good bargain - and pulled over immediately when she saw a parking lot full of pianos for sale in Southern California, even though she had no idea how to play a tune.

Now Bell is hoping to tickle the ivories for the first time - but the impulse buy has made her realize she may need to curb her spending habits. She laughs, "I discovered I am powerless over a parking lot sale. I was driving in the (San Fernando) Valley and they had all these pianos - these old vintage pianos, and new pianos!"

Miley Cyrus was not breaking a law, at least the one about safe driving. The 17-year-old star was recently reported being pulled over by cops because she was talking on cell phone while driving her car in North Hollywood, but her representative has explained that that is not the case.

The police did come over to the "Hannah Montana" actress on Monday, September 13 afternoon. But instead of giving her a ticket, the cops offered an assistance to Miley who was swarmed by paparazzi at that time, the rep explains.

Basketball player C.J. Watson has not romanced Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s girlfriend despite allegations she had a bust-up with the boxer over an affair, according to the NBA star's father. Mayweather, Jr. was arrested on Friday, September 10 on suspicion of grand larceny stemming from a reported domestic violence incident involving Josie Harris at her home in Las Vegas on Thursday.

Harris also filed a request for a temporary protection order after reporting the alleged fight to cops. Reports claim the sportsman lost his temper following a confrontation with Harris over a reported fling with Chicago Bulls player Watson.

Embattled Mel Gibson had an odd encounter with the paparazzi in Los Angeles on Monday, September 13, as he attempted to film a snapper in the back of a car on his camera phone. A smiling Gibson stepped out of his Mercedes after spotting a paparazzo on his tail, and walked back up the street to confront the photographer filming all the way.

But he wasn't expecting the barrage of pertinent questions, which was hurled at him as the two men filmed each other. In the footage, which debuted on new U.S. show Access Hollywood Live on Tuesday, the actor/director asked the snapper to wind his window down so he could get a good shot of him on his phone, and asked, "What's the matter, got nothing better to do?"

Patrick Swayze's widow Lisa Niemi launched a new pancreatic cancer campaign on Tuesday, September 14 to raise awareness about the dangers of the disease on the first anniversary of the actor's death.

The "Ghost" star lost his battle with the killer disease a year ago and Niemi has taken it upon herself to school others about the illness as the new spokeswoman for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. And she has marked Tuesday's poignant date by kick-starting the charity drive for "Be a Hero in the Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer: Know it. Fight it. End it."

There is a chance that Dean and Sam Winchester's world will collide with Stefan and Damon Salvatore's. The "Supernatural" characters reportedly would take on "The Vampire Diaries" characters in one of its upcoming episodes about vampires. Consequently, a reference of "Twilight" is also expected.

"Supernatural" executive producer Sera Gamble assured fans of "Diaries" that they would not give a direct jab at the fellow CW series. "I don't think there's currently a [Vampire Diaries] mention in the episode," Gamble told EW. "But part of the thing is finding a balance between, say, [showing] a poster from the actual show and having Sam and Dean really speak their minds. We don't want to offend."

Cyndi Lauper and Patti Smith have signed up to headline a tribute concert in honor of The Beatles legend John Lennon. The Fab Four star, who was gunned down outside his home in New York City in 1980, would have turned 70 on October 9 this year.

Several events have been planned to mark the day, including a special movie tribute at Filmfest Hamburg and the re-release of eight of Lennon's solo records, which have been digitally remastered by his widow Yoko Ono. And the celebrations of Lennon's life are continuing into November, with a special one-off show in New York.

"The Work", taken from Wale's August 3 release titled "More About Nothing", has been given a music video treatment which is directed by David Banks. The rapper opens the video with a narration about his achievement in being one of the best young and active rappers today.

"More About Nothing" is a sequel to his "Seinfeld" themed mixtape "The Mixtape About Nothing" which is considered Wale's most successful effort so far. His debut album "Attention: Deficit" was a disappointment in sale when it was dropped last year, selling about 28,000 copies in the first week. However, "More About Nothing" scores better in download by getting reportedly 100,000 hits in less than 90 minutes.

Rod Stewart is set to welcome a son next year - doctors have told his wife Penny Lancaster they are "99 per cent certain" she is pregnant with a boy. The "Maggie May" hitmaker will become a father for the eighth time in March 2011 when the model gives birth to their second child together.

And the couple, who wed in and have a four-year-old son, Alastair, are ecstatic after learning the gender of their new baby - medics have informed them it is a boy. Lancaster tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "I had a scan and, although it was quite early on, the doctor said he was 99 per cent certain it was a boy. Russell Crowe is set to make a foray into kung fu - he's teaming up with Wu-Tang Clan founder RZA to star in a new movie. The "Gladiator" actor will appear in "The Man with the Iron Fist" alongside the hip-hop star, who will also be directing the film.

RZA, real name Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, who has previously worked with Crowe on Ridley Scott's "American Gangster" and upcoming movie "The Next Three Days", will play a blacksmith in the film, but the star is keeping Crowe's role under wraps. He tells E! Online, "I won't spoil it for you, but Russell's gonna be the baddest man alive. That man is in fighting shape. That man will knock you out. It's nerve-wracking (directing Crowe). He's a master of the craft. I'm quite sure that I may learn something from him."

"Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively insists she has a "weird" relationship history - she's only ever kissed three men in her life. The actress, who is dating her TV co-star Penn Badgley, insists she hasn't been intimate with many men, apart from when she has to film smooching scenes for TV or film.

TV star Donald Trump has slammed allegations he offered to buy a section of Ground Zero in New York to garner publicity, insisting he doesn't need "the limelight". The property tycoon made his bid after religious leaders outraged the families of many victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks by proposing to build a mosque close to the site.

Hundreds of locals protested the plans on Saturday, September 11 - the ninth anniversary of the tragedy - and Trump tried to head off the proposal by offering to buy the location at a 25 per cent mark-up. His bid was rejected and "The Apprentice" host was accused by an attorney representing Hisham Elzanaty, who's part of the investment group, of making the offer to raise his own profile.

Laurence Fishburne's porn star daughter Montana has confirmed reports she will check into an inpatient medical facility in a bid to get her "life together". The estranged daughter of "The Matrix" star was said to be preparing to enter a clinic in southern California to undergo a 30-day treatment program.

Now Fishburne has confirmed she is seeking treatment - because she needs to get her "mind right". She tells TMZ.com, "I'm trying to get my life together, get my mind right... I'm excited to just take a break and get my mind right and look forward to coming out and be prepared to take on the world."

The second season trailer of "Eastbound & Down" has been released and Kenny Powers "still does not like children". Coming from the production hands of Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, the HBO series will return for seven episodes starting September 26.
