Katherine Jackson briefly thanks the singer's loyal followers for their support and insists her late son would be "very honored and pleased" his devotees are coming together to commemorate the first anniversary of his death.

She says, "We all love you." The tribute to the King of Pop will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday, June 26.

Legendary rockers AC/DC won big at the 2010 Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA) Awards on Monday, June 21 after taking home two of the night's top trophies. The "Highway to Hell" hitmakers were handed the Songwriter of the Year prize, as well as the Most Played Australian Work Overseas honor for their 2008 single "Rock 'N Roll Train".

The plot of the fourth installment of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise nearly became public knowledge this week after a copy of the film's script was found in a London cafe. Johnny Depp began shooting "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides", his latest big-screen outing as Captain Jack Sparrow, in Hawaii in early June.

But the secrecy surrounding the film's storyline was nearly blown when movie workers accidentally left a copy of the screenplay behind after a breakfast meeting in the British capital, sending Disney studio executives into a panic. However, an embarrassing leak was prevented after a film fan found the 194-page document and handed it in to editors at Britain's The Sun newspaper.

Michael Jackson's sister La Toya Jackson has come face to face with the late King of Pop's pet chimpanzee Bubbles for a new documentary. The TV special, "Michael Jackson and Bubbles: The Untold Story", which will air on the Animal Planet network in the U.S. on Tuesday, June 22, chronicles what has become of the chimp in the past 20 years since Jackson had to give up his ape pal.

The pop superstar had to part with the primate when Bubbles reached adolescence. In one film segment, La Toya visits Bubbles at his current home, and holds back tears as she says, "I think you remember me, don't you."

Vanessa Hudgens never turned down an offer to star in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". Despite rumor that she refused the job, a representative for the star has denied it and told Gossip Cop, "[Hudgens] was never approached about this project."

Previously, Hollyscoop reported that Hudgens was offered to portray a fresh character in the upcoming movie adaptation of the TV series with the same title. "She felt that with 'Twilight' still so massive, 'Buffy' would not be the best option right now," a source additionally claimed.

Eminem scared himself off drugs when he relapsed a month after suffering a near-fatal overdose. In an exclusive new interview with U.S. news show Access Hollywood, the "Without Me" rapper admits at one point he was popping so many pills, he lost track of how many he was taking. He says, "My tolerance got so high."

But he hit his "personal bottom" at the end of 2007 and the beginning of 2008. He explains, "I had overdosed in 2007, like, right around Christmas in 2007... I pretty much almost died. I pulled through and went home and relapsed less than a month later and I literally shot back up to the amount of pills I was taking, shot right back up to where I overdosed... I scared myself, like, 'Yo... I need help. Like, I can't beat this on my own'."

Rapper Fat Joe has been questioned by police in Madison, Wisconsin following allegations he and his entourage were involved in a sexual assault on Sunday, June 20. A 33-year-old woman, whose identity has not been released, filed a police complaint in the early hours of Monday, claiming she had been traveling with the hip-hop star and his crew in their limo as they headed to a hotel following a gig in the city.

The female claims the ride soon turned into a nightmare for her, accusing the "Lean Back" hitmaker, real name Joseph Cartagena, and his friends of "inappropriate touching". The police report reads, "Shortly after the concert had concluded... (the woman) found herself inside of a Cadillac Limousine with Joseph Cartagena and other male subjects all with the destination of a hotel located on Madison's west side."

The-Dream has run off his Twitter page, following the footsteps of Emma Roberts. While the niece of Julia Roberts was scared of Robert Pattinson's die-hard fans, the 28 year-old rapper/producer decided to remove his page reportedly after he was showered with angry tweets from Ciara's devotees.

Slipknot star Paul Gray died from an accidental overdose of morphine, according to newly-released toxicology and final autopsy reports. The rocker, 38, was found dead in a suburban Des Moines, Iowa hotel on May 24.

Officials at the Polk County Medical Examiner's Office also noted the presence of significant heart disease in their report as well as the drug fentanyl, a potent synthetic morphine substitute. Thus the medical examiner can also rule out foul play in the death.

"Dear God 2.0" is a revamped version of Monsters of Folk's song "Dear God (Sincerely M.O.F.)". It is confirmed to be included in The Roots' upcoming ninth studio album "How I Got Over". The music video for this track is directed by Jason Goldwatch.

Though Justin Bieber has thousands of devotees around the world and becomes one of the pop sensations, "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe admitted he knew little about him. Not that Radcliffe didn't know Bieber is a singer but he at first thought Bieber was a woman.

During a recent interview with MTV News, Radcliffe said, "I only heard Justin Bieber for the first time two weeks ago. I genuinely thought it was a woman singing." He continued, "I'd never heard it before. Is it big in England yet? I'm so out of the loop when it comes to pop culture that I kind of don't even try anymore." Michael Jackson's brother Randy is confident justice will prevail in the ongoing legal case against Dr. Conrad Murray, despite expressing his disappointment at a recent court ruling allowing the physician to keep his medical license. Murray, who stands accused of administering the powerful anesthetic Propofol which led to Jackson's death, has pleaded not guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter, but California authorities wanted to ban the doctor from treating patients as part of his bail conditions until the case was fully resolved.

Judge Michael Pastor allowed Murray to keep his license, but admitted his decision only came about because he did not have the jurisdiction to issue a suspension. Members of the late superstar's family, including Michael's parents Katherine and Joe, were present for the hearing, and although Randy Jackson is angry at the latest outcome, he insists he still has faith in the U.S. justice system.

The retired judge who oversaw the Anna Nicole Smith burial trial is urging police to reopen investigations into the star's death, calling the tragedy grounds for "a potential murder case". Former Fort Lauderdale, Florida judge Larry Seidlin has revealed he isn't satisfied with the Seminole Indian Police Department's investigation of Smith's February 2007 death, which was ruled an accidental overdose.

In a new book, titled "The Killing of Anna Nicole Smith", he claims the former Playboy model died under "highly unusual circumstances"; and he believes someone is guilty of manslaughter. Seidlin does not say who he believes should be considered a suspect, but he is highly critical of enablers of Smith's drug use, writing, "I think enablers should be punished. How about keeping her off drugs while she was alive?"

A man arrested outside "The Hills" star Audrina Patridge's Los Angeles home has pleaded no contest to a stalking charge and will undergo psychiatric evaluation. Zachary Loring entered the plea in a Los Angeles court on Monday, June 21.

He will undergo a 90-day diagnostic evaluation before he's sentenced on September 20. He faces up to two years in a state prison if experts find him to be competent.

Mark your calendar Little Monsters as Lady GaGa has revealed when she will be announcing title of her next studio installment. In an interview with Rolling Stone for the magazine's new issue, the dance queen said she is going to unveil it on the New Year's Eve.

"I think I'm gonna get the album title tattooed on me and put out the photo," she stated. "I've been working on it for months now, and I feel very strongly that it's finished right now. It came so quickly. Some artists take years; I don't. I write music every day."

CBS is still firm with its decision to cut off A.J. Cook from "Criminal Minds", but the network reportedly is considering a proposal. The actress who portrays Jennifer Jareau aka JJ may be back in the Fall season but only for an episode and as a guest star.

Glee club will not head to big screen anytime soon. Following report which mentions that "Glee" will be made into films, the show creator Ryan Murphy has debunked it. "There will be no 'Glee' movie in the foreseeable future," he tells Entertainment Weekly, before adding "Despite overtures, I and the studio (Fox) have decided we want to put our energy into the second season with no distractions for the cast."

Words that "Glee" could hit cinemas were first run by Hollywood Life which claimed 20th Century Fox Television has the option to get the cast of the musical comedy series to be involved in up to three movies based on the show. The site additionally highlighted a point in the contract signed by the stars such as Dianna Agron and Mark Salling which mentions, "[The actor] hereby grants Fox three exclusive, irrevocable options to engage [the actor] in up to, respectively, three feature length motion pictures."

But the 61 year old admits he would want his partner to turn off his life support system if he ever suffered extreme brain damage and could no longer care for himself. In his health column for Britain's Sunday Times magazine, he writes, "I've always told Sharon, 'If I become one of my vegetables (sic), you have my permission to pull the plug.' People say that's going against God, but being a doctor is going against God, isn't it? If you've got a headache, it ain't God who reaches down and gives you the aspirin."

Sean "Diddy" Combs has launched a "positive" new blog which only publishes good news - after growing disillusioned with all the gossip and scandal he reads online. The "I'll Be Missing You" rapper has set up a new website, DiddyBlog.com, where fans can long on to read motivational and uplifting stories - and he's put a strict ban on any controversial content.

P. Diddy explains, "The blog is an all-100 per cent positive, thousand, zillion per cent positive blog. It's about inspiring you, motivating you, empowering your dreams, empowering you. It's not about any news about who's dating who, who's not doing good, who got exposed today. Go to the other sites for that. It's just about motivation and inspiration and love."

Hundreds of fans flocked to a small town in Wales on Monday, June 21 to pay their respects to late Stereophonics rocker Stuart Cable ahead of his funeral. The drummer was found dead at his home in Llwydcoed, Wales on June 7, just weeks after celebrating his 40th birthday. His cause of death is still unknown.

Cable's family and friends, including his former Stereophonics bandmates, attended a memorial service for the musician in his hometown of Aberdare, south Wales on Monday afternoon. Crowds of fans lined the route of the funeral procession to pay their last respects to the late star and police closed roads around the area as the horse-drawn carriage made its way to the local church for the private service.

British rockers Radiohead have backtracked over their decision not to release a new album this year - guitarist Ed O'Brien has confirmed the band is recording new music. Earlier this year online gossips claimed the Grammy winners were putting the finishing touches to a new release called "Tehrangeles", a follow up to their 2007 album "In Rainbows".

But the band insisted the gossip was false and there would be no new music in 2010. In a statement released to NME.com, the group insisted: "Most of it is made up and there is no album or album title." But O'Brien has revealed plans for a 2010 release are in fact in the works - and could be released in "a matter of weeks".

A man who claimed to be Michael Jackson's former bodyguard has dropped a lawsuit against TV bosses in Britain over a 2008 documentary about the famous family - just a day before the case was due to go to trial. Several of the "Thriller" hitmaker's brothers signed up to appear in "The Jacksons Are Coming", a show chronicling their attempts to find a home in Devon, England.

Martial arts expert Matt Fiddes, who appeared alongside the singing siblings in the program, subsequently filed a lawsuit against bosses at U.K. TV network Channel 4, claiming several scenes in the show were staged. The lawsuit, which also targeted production company Studio Lambert, and the program's narrator, Jane Preston, further alleged the documentary falsely implied Fiddes had betrayed Tito Jackson by leaking stories to the press.

"American Pie" star Chris Klein has checked himself in a rehabilitation facility in Utah to deal with alcohol addiction following his arrest for driving under the influence (DUI) last week. The actor's car was pulled over by police in Los Angeles on June 16 and he was taken into custody after failing a sobriety test.

He was released from jail hours later on $25,000 bail and now Klein is seeking professional help at the Cirque Lodge to battle his drinking problem. His representative, Jaime Primak, tells People.com, "After recent events, Chris was forced to take a clear look at a problem he has been trying to deal with himself for years. He understands now that he cannot beat this disease alone."

Australian singer Sia Furler is having second thoughts about quitting music after discovering a thyroid condition is to blame for her constantly feeling sluggish and lazy. The singer vowed to quit music following the June release of her fourth record, "We Are Born", insisting she was tired of life in the spotlight and wanted a "normal job".

But the star, who has collaborated with artists including Christina Aguilera, Zero 7 and Beck, is reconsidering her plans for the future after learning an underactive thyroid has caused her to lose the motivation to make new records. She tells New York Magazine, "It's a relief. I realized I'm not lazy and I'm a nice person. Maybe, I'm not mental!"

A live-action film version of Nickelodeon's animated series of the same name, "The Last Airbender" is set in a world where human civilization is divided into four nations: Water, Earth, Air and Fire. The story follows Aang, the last known survivor of the peaceful Air Nomads and the Airbenders.

Larry King has made a big buck in his two-hour telethon to benefit victims of the U.S. Gulf Coast oil disaster. During the program, aired live at 8 P.M. on Monday night, June 21 on ET, the television and radio host, with the help of dozens of celebrities, has raised $1.3 million to aid the Gulf Coast, CNN reported.

Justin Bieber, Cameron Diaz, Ryan Seacrest and Sting were among the stars who've signed on to participate on King's force to ask callers for dollars. Animal-loving Sir Paul McCartney is the latest star to back an anti-whaling campaign urging the Norwegian government not to lift a ban on commercial hunting. Leona Lewis has already teamed up with the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) to plead with officials in the Scandinavian country not to back a proposal which would effectively allow the slaughter of up to 1,400 whales next year.

And now McCartney has backed the drive - calling on the Norwegian government to "protect" the sea-faring mammals. He says, "It's time to end the cruel slaughter of whales and leave these magnificent creatures alone. A permanent memorial to Michael Jackson is set to be unveiled in London to mark the first anniversary of the superstar's death. Incarcerated rapper Lil Wayne will escape further jail time after reportedly striking a deal with U.S. prosecutors and pleading guilty to a 2008 drugs charge, according to a new report. The "Lollipop" hitmaker is currently serving 12 months behind bars at New York's Rikers Island prison, after he was convicted of illegal weapons possession in an earlier case.

Lindsay Lohan has defended her decision to tackle the controversial role of porn star Linda Lovelace in new movie "Inferno" - insisting the film will not be "vulgar" or overly sexual. HBO has just announced on Monday, June 21 that it renews the vampire series for a fourth season, ordering a full 12-episode season.
