R&B superstar Ne-Yo has written a script for a new movie - and used the film's storyline to inspire his next album. The "So Sick" hitmaker is in talks with Hollywood bosses to turn his screenplay into a big screen picture, and is hoping to release an album and graphic novel based on its plot.

He tells Britain's Daily Star, "I developed a script and I'm in the process of getting a Hollywood studio to turn it into a movie. My new album is a series of songs inspired by the script that I wrote, but it's not a musical."

Westlife star Nicky Byrne was hospitalized at the weekend after cutting his head during a playful post-gig wrestle with bandmate Kian Egan. The Irish crooners were performing in Liverpool, England on Friday, May 7 and returned to their hotel in the city to carry on the fun.

But Byrne was left needing medical treatment after a playful fight with Egan turned ugly when he accidentally smashed his head through a glass table. In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Thx (thanks) to all in Liverpool A&E (accident and emergency unit)!! I'm healing already and thx for all ur (sic) concerns."

Former Veruca Salt star Nicole Fiorentino has joined The Smashing Pumpkins to replace bassist Ginger Pooley. Pooley, who toured with Billy Corgan's band in 2007 and 2008, quit the group in March to concentrate on motherhood.

Corgan pulled in The Electric Prunes' star Mark Tulin to fill in and launched an audition process to find a full-time replacement. The rocker's publicist announced the big news on her MySpace.com website on Monday, May 10.

Rockers Queen are planning to follow in Sir Paul McCartney's footsteps by quitting their longtime label EMI, according to a U.K. report. The Beatles legend parted ways with the faltering record giant in 2008, transferring all distribution rights of his post-Fab Four material to the Concord Music Group last month.

And the "Bohemian Rhapsody" hitmakers, who have been with EMI for almost 40 years and have sold an estimated 300 million albums through the company, are in talks with rival label Universal to sign a multi-million dollar deal when the band's contract with EMI expires at the end of year 2010, according to Britain's The Times.

Bono and former Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker were the big winners at the U.K.'s annual Sony Radio Academy Awards on Monday, May 10. The event in London honored the best of British radio talent, and Cocker, who began hosting a show on BBC 6 Music earlier this year, picked up the ceremony's Rising Star prize.

And the rocker hopes his win will persuade BBC bosses to save the station - which is one of a number of the corporation's radio outlets bosses are planning to shut as part of cost-cutting measures. He says, "6 Music is never going to be the biggest station in the U.K. but it would be devastating if it was to close. 6 Music isn't going to change the world - it just wants to make it a bit nicer."

Helen Mirren's famous name in showbiz has been honored with a wax figure at Madame Tussauds in London, England. On Tuesday, May 11, the actress has revealed the replica of her for the first time, accompanied by her director husband Taylor Hackford.

Wearing a red dress, the 64-year-old beauty poses next to the art work which is dressed in a long black gown. Taylor later joins her to admire the wax figure and lands a kiss on the cheek of the replica while Helen acts like she is angry to him.

Kim Cattrall has vowed never to wed again, because marriage isn't "necessary". The actress has been married three times and split from her last husband, Mark Levinson, in 2004 after a six-year union - and she insists there won't be a fourth wedding.

The "Sex and the City" star says, "I'll never marry again. I don't want children. I am self-sufficient. If I decide to spend time with someone then I will. "House M.D." star Lisa Edelstein is reluctant to settle down and start a family - because she's enjoying the single life in her forties. The actress, who plays hospital boss Dr. Lisa Cuddy in the hit TV medical drama, admits she feels pressure to find get married and have kids.

But Edelstein insists turning 44 on May 21 won't push her to commit. She says, "Sometimes yeah (I feel pressure). The thing is that as a woman I don't think you can avoid coming to terms with the end of your fertility in your life."

Joan Rivers, last season's winner of "The Celebrity Apprentice" is making a comeback to the show to help Donald Trump in wilting down the contestants to mere 2. Joining her is Bill Rancic who won the first season of "The Apprentice". Together, their job is to advise Mr. Trump of which two celebrities should be sent home in the first round.

The May 16 episode starts right after the board room where Cyndi Lauper was fired. The five remaining contestants are brought back to the boardroom and questioned why they should not be fired. Trump says that he would fire one celebrity before Joan and Bill make their choices on two other celebrities. One celebrity's rude comment leads to a quick firing.

"Transformers 3" has apparently kicked off principal photography. Two workers at NeighboorGoods, Ben Brown and mickipedia, who witnessed the shooting in Sherman Oaks, California on Monday, May 10 have posted videos they recorded from their office.

The two clips actually show the filming of the same scene in which a silver car is thrown down an alley before it bumps onto the garbages. Brown also wrote on his blog that he saw "Autobot 'twins' zooming around" the location and "apparently, one or both of them will transform and beat the crap out of this tiny little car."

What to expect from Adam Lambert's "If I Had You" music video has been revealed. The clip is going to feature fire performers as according to a casting call, his camp are looking for "people who can fire eat, fire breath, fire juggle, fire twirl, etc."

"This music video is set in a dark but beautiful forest, where we experience a surreal light show, similar to the Northern Lights of Norway," the video overview read. "We are here for an artistic gathering of all types of people, to socialize, dance and party while taking in this display of beauty and mystery."

A brand new material from M.I.A. has made its debut on BBC Radio 1. The track titled "XXXO" reportedly is released as the first official single of her forthcoming studio album which will come out later this year.

Earlier last month, M.I.A. set tongues wagging after premiering a not-safe-for-work music video for a song called "Born Free". Directed by Romain Gavras, the video follows a group of U.S. soldiers who invade a town and hunt down readheads to be massacred on the desert.

Chanelle Hayes bares her pregnancy curves in a picture for Closer magazine. The English star who is now six months pregnant shows off her growing baby bump in the picture which recreates the famous pose made by Demi Moore when she was seven months pregnant.

Justin Timberlake is to open his new golf course in his native Memphis, Tennessee in July - and he reveals the place has very special memories for him. The pop superstar and golf fanatic is the brains behind the revamped Miramichi Lakes country club, which was the first place he learned to hit a ball.

He says, "This was the course where my dad taught me to hit a golf ball. I was really young, so all I really cared about was girls at the time. We actually have done some pretty cool things with this course; we had to re-do the whole course. We're the first course in America to be certified an eco-friendly golf course."

Country singer Holly Williams has thrown herself into the relief efforts in Nashville, Tennessee to help restore the city after it was hit by devastating floods earlier this month. Severe storms in Tennessee left much of the state under water, resulting in the deaths of almost two dozen people and leaving survivors facing the daunting task of tidying up.

Williams was not personally affected by the floods but she decided to volunteer her services to local non-profit organization Hands On Nashville to begin the big clear-up. The star tells People.com, "It's pretty simple. You put on your rain boots and dirty clothes and go. They put us on a school bus and took us to Bellevue, one of the hardest hit areas."

Lady GaGa is refusing to heed her peers' advice and take a break from her busy touring schedule - she's extending her Monster Ball trek into next year. The "Poker Face" hitmaker sparked fears for her health after she admitted to passing out three times during a recent concert in New Zealand, forcing her to lie down on the stage midway through a song.

Her tour promoter insisted the singer was just "tired and dehydrated", while GaGa put the blackouts down to jetlag. She explained, "I was so jetlagged, I got in the night before and the jetlag just really caught up with me. I passed out about three times on stage that night but I got myself to the floor. I'd rather die on stage than walk off the stage because I was going to pass out."

Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am stunned two struggling U.S. families on the verge of losing their homes on Monday, May 10 by revealing he'd paid off their mortgages. The generous hitmaker agreed to give his financial advice to the two families invited to appear on pal Oprah Winfrey's talk show, but when he realized just how much debt the family of eight and the single mother were in - due to the economic collapse - he offered to dig deep and give them the cash they needed to survive instead.

The cash amounted to more than $350,000. The two families had no idea they would be meeting a pop superstar on Oprah's stage - or that he'd be solving their immediate financial problems. He and Winfrey both fought back tears as the grateful folks hugged each other and sobbed.

"Iron Man 2" star Don Cheadle was left fuming after a recent flight from hell - because he insists he was the victim of racial profiling. "House M.D." will end the sixth season in a big way. As previously reported, the director, Greg Yaitanes had to use a special Canon 5d Mark II camera in order to capture the gigantic set where a building is seen collapsing. Beside that, House risks his life by entering the building and saving others.

In "Help Me", Cuddy, House and members of the team join forces with a search-and-rescue team to provide much-needed medical attention at the scene of an emergency. House and Cuddy are heard disagreeing on whether they should cut the leg of a survivor or not. All the while, another quake is coming and threatening the very life of the rescuers.

Although Summit Entertainment has officially announced that "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn" will be released in the U.S. on November 18, 2011, the studio has not confirmed whether or not it will be split into two parts. Latest report on the development mentions that the studio indeed wants two "Breaking Dawn" movies and is close to finalize deals with main cast to return to the fifth "Twilight" film.

While Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are rumored getting big raises for the last installment, Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene reportedly have not found agreements with the studio regarding their salaries. A source close to the dealmaking tells The Hollywood Reporter (THR) that the depicters of Emmet Cullen and Alice Cullen want bigger paydays that Summit is unwilling to provide.

Liam Gallagher has confirmed he's planning to turn Richard DiLello's book about the last days of The Beatles into a new movie. Recent reports suggested the Oasis frontman would announce the project, based on DiLello's The Longest Cocktail Party, at the Cannes Film Festival in France later this week - but it seems he isn't waiting.

A statement reads, "This will be a film with humor and affection providing an insider's look at what is meant to be a young man caught up in the wild swirl of the music business, celebrities and the tail end of the swinging Sixties' in London."

Stone Temple Pilots rocker Robert Deleo is set to become a dad again - his wife is set to give birth to the couple's second child at the end of the month. DeLeo let the happy news slip during a weekend interview with ThePulseofRadio.com, revealing he has a busy summer of diaper changing, record releases and touring.

He says, "With a wife and a four-year-old son right now, and another son coming at the end of May, this year is definitely gonna be a year for me personally of wearing a lot of hats. I've got a record being released on May 25 and a son coming on May 28 and then a tour that's gonna take me up to the end of 2011, so it's gonna be a juggle. But I'm up for it."

Elton John will perform as scheduled at an upcoming music festival in Morocco after organizers defied calls from the country's Islamic politicians to ban the openly-gay star from the event. The "Rocket Man" found himself at the center of controversy on Friday, May 7 when members of the Islamist Justice and Development Party called for the singer to be dropped from the Mawazine festival line-up - because of his sexuality.

The activists feel his appearance will "undermine the respect of privacy" and "breach certain values that the international Mawazine festival is based on". Critics also feared John's presence would present "a risk of encouraging homosexuality in Morocco".

Robert De Niro has added to the star power of a new Australian action thriller, joining Brits Jason Statham and Clive Owen and Lachy Hulme in "The Killer Elite". Dominic Purcell and actress Yvonne Strahovski have also joined the cast of Garry McKendry's film, which has just started shooting in Australia, according to Moviehole.net.

In the movie, a retired Navy Seal (Statham) is blackmailed to kill a special forces operative after his mentor and friend, played by De Niro, is captured by an Arab sheik. Produced by Inferno Entertainment, the action thriller is expected to be premiere next year in the U.S.

Maroon 5 have been readying their third studio album. It's called "Hands All Over" and scheduled to be released in the United States on September 21 with its new materials to be previewed during the band's upcoming tour which will begin on July 31 in Saratoga.

The album is worked on with the help from producer Mutt Lange. It is "kind of hearkens back to the spirit behind the first record (Songs About Jane) and is less like the second one (It Won't Be Soon Before Long) - or is a combination of both, the best elements of both all in one," frontman Adam Levine told Billboard.

Engaged to Russell Brand, Katy Perry has mapped out several details for her wedding with the British funnyman. Met at the 7th Annual Bag Lunch, benefiting PS Arts at the Buckingham Estate in Brentwood, California, the songstress has revealed how her special day will be.

"I think [the wedding] will be small," Katy told People. "I always have a ton of people around me and I think the people that are going to share this moment with us are the people we want to integrate into each other's lives."

Fans of "Modern Family" are serious when they criticize the show for not letting Cam and Mitchell show a little more affectionate expression. They have now set up a Facebook page called "Let Cam & Mitchell kiss on Modern Family!" which has attracted more than 3,000 people since it was created earlier this week.

Drake's music video for his latest single "Find Your Love" has been debuted, showing off "the worst thing about crossing a line". The Canadian rapper is entangled in a love triangle, falling for a woman who unfortunately is the leading lady of a gang leader.

Directed by Anthony Mandler and filmed in Jamaica, the video follows Drake's every attempt to be with the girl of his dreams. His on-screen love interest is played by Maliah Michel, while the gang leader is portrayed by Mavado.

Less than a week before the U.S. release of "Robin Hood", Universal Pictures has released a brand new trailer for the movie. Containing a lot of action scenes, the video gives a quick look at Cate Blanchett dressed in an armor to join the war. Between the intense sequence, romantic moment involving Russell Crowe and the female lead is also inserted in this trailer.

Based on legendary character, the film follows Sir Robin Hood of Locksley, Earl of Huntington, who has returned to Nottingham after fighting in the Third Crusade and finding the oppression caused by the new Sheriff of Nottingham. Using his intelligence and military skills, he tries to free his home village from tyranny and corruption in England.

Rapper Nas has blasted his estranged wife Kelis for putting him through "hell" every time he wants to see their young son. The hip-hop supercouple split in April 2009 after four years of marriage, with Kelis citing irreconcilable differences in her divorce papers, which were filed just months before she gave birth to baby Knight.

They have been locked in a bitter legal battle ever since, with a judge ordering Nas to pay more than $87,000 in late spousal and child support and told to cover the Milkshake singer's legal and accounting bills. Country music power couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are calling on their celebrity pals to join a star-studded fundraiser concert for victims of the Tennessee floods. The couple was devastated after state capital Nashville was hit by severe storms earlier this month, leaving almost two dozen people dead and flooding the fabled Grand Ole Opry concert venue.

McGraw and Hill have so far lined up performers including Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and LeAnn Rimes to help raise money for "Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert For Flood Recovery", to be held at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on June 22.

Incarcerated rapper DMX has had his request to seek treatment for drug addiction with reality TV doctor Drew Pinsky denied by an Arizona judge - because he's making good progress kicking the habit behind bars.

The hip-hop star, real name Earl Simmons, was sentenced to six months in prison after pleading guilty to five separate claims of probation violation by using illegal substances following his arrest in Phoenix, Arizona in March. He was offered a way out of jail when a representative for the Pasadena Recovery Center in California, where Pinsky works, formally appealed to the presiding judge at Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona to release DMX into their care for treatment.

U.S. reality TV star Alexis Neiers has agreed to plead guilty for her part in the Hollywood 'bling ring' burglaries. The teenager will accept a charge of first-degree residential burglary, according to the Los Angeles Times newspaper.

The "Pretty Wild" star was a minor player in the burglary ring, which targeted the homes of celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge, Paris Hilton and Orlando Bloom.

Veteran U.S. newswoman Barbara Walters is to undergo surgery later this week to replace a faulty heart valve. The TV legend, 80, made the announcement on her hit morning talk show "The View" on Monday, May 10, revealing she has known about the condition "for a while now" and finally decided to have the procedure so it coincided with the programme's hiatus later this summer.

She explained, "Later this week I am going to have surgery to replace one faulty heart valve. Now lots of people have done this. I have known of this condition for a while now and my doctors and I have decided this is the best time to do the surgery. And since the summer is coming up I can take a nice vacation."

Lindsay Lohan's estranged father Michael is urging the judge in the actress' drink driving probation case to send his troubled daughter to rehab. The "Mean Girls" actress currently attends court-ordered alcohol education classes as part of her probation after pleading guilty to cocaine use and no contest to drink-driving and reckless driving charges following a 2007 arrest.

She has been embroiled in a war of words with her dad Michael Lohan since he attempted to stage an intervention at her Hollywood home last month, claiming his eldest daughter is hooked on prescription drugs. The actress has vehemently denied the allegations, insisting she has turned her life around and is drug-free.

Soul star Toni Braxton has dismissed rumors her marriage fell apart because of an affair - putting the split down to "stress". Preview of what could be the last "One Tree Hill" episode shows Haley drowning herself in a pool. In the May 17 episode, Haley tries to overcome her depression by joining Nathan, Jamie and the rest of the Tree Hill gang on a trip to Utah for the premiere of Julian's film.

The CW has not landed a decision to pick up "Hill" for an eighth season. Based on previous reports, "Hill" would have to cut budgets and actors if it wants to continue being on screen. Fans of the show have been campaigning for a renewal but the cast themselves are still in the dark.

"Gossip Girl" star Taylor Momsen turned the air blue on Monday, May 10 when she let slip a four-letter word during an interview on a U.K. morning TV show. The 16-year-old blonde was talking to hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on national network program "This Morning" when she made her four-letter mishap.

The stunned actress realized her slip immediately - but then brushed it off with a casual apology. Asked if she feels pressure from catty online critics, Momsen said: "There is if you care (sic) but if you do what I do, you just don't give a s**t... Can I not say that?" Schofield replied, "Not really, but we will apologize," prompting Momsen to tell viewers: "Sorry."

Lindsay Lohan is in mourning following the death of her beloved uncle. The "Mean Girls" actress was given the tragic news about her mother's brother late on Sunday evening, and immediately headed for the family home in New York to comfort her mum, Dina.

And the heartbroken actress admits she felt "sick" when she heard about her uncle's passing. "Harry Potter" stars Helena Bonham Carter and Julie Walters will battle it out at this year's British Academy (BAFTA) Television Awards after they both received nominations in the Best Actress category. Bonham Carter's turn as beloved author Enid Blyton in "Enid" earned her the honor, while Walters received a double nod in the category - she has been nominated for her role in "Mo", which saw her play British Labor Party politician Mo Mowlam, and drama "A Short Stay in Switzerland".

As "Green Lantern" is still in production, another on-set picture from the film has surfaced. While the previous behind the scenes photos which capture Ryan Reynolds do not give a look at him when transforming into the superhero, the latest shot manages to reveal how his enemy Hector Hammond will be seen.

Pro golfer Erica Blasberg lost her life at just 25. She was found dead on Sunday, May 9 at her home in Henderson, Nev. Since the discovery is pretty new, the cause of death is still undetermined but her father said there is something "very, very strange about it".

"At first glance it looks like she might have taken her own life, but at second glance, something is very, very strange about it," Mel Blasberg said. "We're waiting for the police to make an investigation; it's a pending investigation."

Pop star Lance Bass has sparked speculation he's dating U.S. reality star Kyan Douglas, after they were spotted on a string of nights out together. The openly-gay former NSYNC singer is said to have been single since he split from hairdresser Ben Thigpen in 2008, but he's now romancing Queer Eye grooming expert Douglas, according to the New York Post's gossip column Page Six.

Sir Elton John has paid tribute to his late friend Stephen Gately by writing the foreword to his new book. The Boyzone singer was busy working on "The Tree of Seasons" before his tragic death last year, October 2009. Gately's bandmates vowed to complete the children's fantasy novel, and the book is now set for release later this month.

The "Rocket Man" and his husband David Furnish, who introduced the Irish star to his partner Andrew Cowles, wrote a foreword for the story - and Cowles is determined to make the book a success. Former supermodel Janice Dickinson offered herself up for auction to raise money for a diabetes charity - and raised $20,000. The reality TV star agreed to offer an afternoon in her company as the top prize at a recent fundraising event for Juvenile Diabetes in San Francisco, California.

The day out will include a makeover and a photo shoot for the lucky winner, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six. And Dickinson was stunned to raise a whopping $20,000 with the lot, quipping, "Whoever they are, they're going to get a lot more for their money than they paid!"

The "My Name Is Earl" star reportedly was under the knife for the breast augmentation "a couple of weeks ago." The source additionally gushed on the result, saying "They look amazing!" Jaime's manager refused to release a comment when asked by Us Magazine about the story.

Scott Bakula makes a return to "Chuck" next week as Stephen J. Bartowski aka Chuck's dad. After his last dream, Chuck asks Morgan to help him on a side mission. Their investigation becomes complicated when Stephen J. Bartowski returns and learns that Chuck downloaded the Intersect 2.0. Luckily, Chuck's father may be able to help his son.

"...when we last saw him, he had spent an incredible amount of time trying to get the Intersect out of his son's head," creator Chris Fedak said. "And much of what we're going to be dealing with coming up is that Chuck's now decided to be a spy. And that decision, in episode 22 last season when he uploaded the Intersect 2.0 to save Sarah and Casey and to be a hero, that's very much what this season is about. And the next few episodes will be dealing with the ramifications of that."

As a promotional effort for her upcoming summer release "Bionic", Christina Aguilera has mapped a massive tour across North America. She will kick off the gig on July 15 and will take "The X Factor" winner Leona Lewis as her supporting act.
