Pink Pokes Fun at Pregnancy Rumors

Pop star Pink has poked fun at rumours she's expecting her first child with husband Carey Hart by joking about having a "600 pound baby". The "So What" hitmaker, real name Alecia Moore, sparked reports she was pregnant after she was snapped with a slight tummy bump on April 12.

The singer has so far refused to confirm or deny the claims, but took to her Twitter on Thursday, April 15 to suggest the renewed baby speculation is just the latest in a longrunning joke. She wrote, "Off to the gym. Lord knows when this 600 pound baby comes out that I've been growing for 8 years, i better be strong and physically prepared!!!"

Elton John 'Not Too Old' to Be Dad

Sir Elton John put off the idea of becoming a father for years because he feared he was too old to look after a baby. The "Rocket Man", 63, and his partner David Furnish decided to start a family and adopt last year - but they were left devastated when their attempts to become parents to a Ukrainian boy named Lev was rejected on the grounds of their sexuality.

The couple is still keen to adopt, but John admits he had shunned the thought of being a dad until they actually began the whole adoption process. He says, "I'd said until that point, 'No, I'm too old (to adopt).' Then I thought, 'You know what Elton, you're not too old. You're still very young at heart. You've done everything you possibly can in your career, the only thing you haven't done is be a good parent'."

Rick Ross Ordered to Pay $300,000 Over Assault Case

Rapper Rick Ross has been ordered to hand over $300,000 in damages to a DJ he is accused of attacking during an altercation in 2008. The Hustlin' star appeared in New York Federal Court on Thursday, April 15 to give his account of the encounter, in which he and his entourage are alleged to have pounced on DJ Vlad when he quizzed the rapper about rumors he had previously served as a correctional officer.

Ross told the court he was unaware the assault was going to happen and insisted he never laid a hand on the DJ. Vlad, real name Vlad Lyubovni, sued for $4 million, claiming he suffered a broken eye socket, a broken nose, nerve damage to his face and required seven stitches under his right eye, in addition to other injuries, as a result of the attack.

Dr. Conrad Murray's lawyer fears his client will not get a fair trial when he goes to court over the death of Michael Jackson because the King of Pop was so loved by people across the globe. The embattled medic has pleaded not guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter amid accusations he administered the powerful drug that killed Jackson last June.

Murray's lawyer Ed Chernoff insists the doctor will not be negotiating a deal with Los Angeles prosecutors because "plea bargains are for guilty people". But he worries about the impartiality of the jury in a case concerning the death of one of the world's biggest pop superstars.

David Beckham Loses England's Greatest Soccer Star Title

David Beckham has been knocked into second place in a poll to find England's greatest soccer star - behind troubled ex-superstar Paul Gascoigne. The online survey has been carried out by executives at New Black Films, ahead of the release of their new soccer movie "One Night in Turin".

Beckham, who will have to watch this summer's World Cup in South Africa from the sidelines after suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon, attracted 32 per cent of votes, behind Gascoigne's 36 per cent. Current England star Wayne Rooney came in third ahead of the late Bobby Moore, who captained England's 1966 World Cup winning team.

The owner of top London strip club Stringfellows has shot down reports Kiefer Sutherland was ejected from the venue due to drunken behavior, insisting paparazzi shots of the incident have been spun out of control. The "24" star was enjoying a boozy night out with a pal on Thursday, April 15 and decided to end the night at exotic dance venue Stringfellows.

British tabloid The Sun reported the inebriated actor began dancing erratically with his shirt off and shouting inside the club before getting into a scuffle with security when he was allegedly asked to leave. But club boss Peter Stringfellow has dismissed the claims, insisting Sutherland was never booted out of the venue and was polite to every member of staff.

Harrelson countersued for invasion of privacy. According to court documents, Levine and Harrelson reached a settlement earlier this month - just weeks before the case was scheduled to go to trial. Details of the settlement were not included in court records. The case had been scheduled for trial in early May.
