20 Doctors Connected to Corey Haim's Death Receive Subpoenas

The investigation into tragic actor Corey Haim's death is stepping up - approximately 20 doctors have been handed subpoenas which will force them to give evidence in connection with the tragedy. The "Lost Boys" star passed away in Los Angeles on March 10, after collapsing at his mum Judy's house.

The cause of death is still unknown, but California's Attorney General Edmund G. Brown Jr. has fueled speculation Haim died from a drugs overdose by revealing the actor had obtained an illegal order for painkiller OxyContin. Haim was linked to a drug ring and could have had up to 20 doctors unknowingly writing prescriptions for him.

The economic collapse worked wonders for the cast of spooky new movie "The Eclipse" - they each got a luxury golf course home to live in for the duration of filming. "Harry Potter" star Ciaran Hinds and Aidan Quinn couldn't believe their luck when they arrived in Cove, Ireland and discovered they'd be spending over a month looking out onto the links of a top-class golf resort.

Hinds tells BlogTalkRadio, "They had built these houses around the golf course and they wanted people to buy time shares so they would spend six weeks in Ireland with state of the art kitchens, bedrooms, but, because of the economy, nothing was selling."

When the romance ended Contostavlos developed anorexia and even tried to end her own life as her moods sank so low. The singer opens up about the traumas in new book "N-Dubz: Against All Odds", stating "I had my first proper boyfriend as a teenager. We were sexually active and I was staying over at his house. But it was a bad relationship. I had lied about my age and he was older than me. He was really handsome and everyone fancied him but he was violent and abusive towards me."

Green Day Face Lawsuit After Allegedly Using Image Without Permission

Rockers Green Day are facing legal action from an artist alleging the band used one of his creations in a music video without his permission. The "American Idiot" hitmakers used an image of a fang-toothed face during their concerts, as well as a music video and across their website in 2009.

Artist Dereck Seltzer has filed a lawsuit against Green Day at Los Angeles federal court, alleging he created the image years ago and copyrighted the picture. He claims he was never asked permission for the image to be used on the band's material.

Justin Bieber Offers Support to Manager Following Nuisance Charge

Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber has offered his support to his manager, who turned himself into police on Wednesday, March 24 to face charges relating to the singer's chaotic appearance at a shopping mall in New York in November 2009. The 16-year-old was forced to cancel a signing appearance at the Roosevelt Field mall after thousands of fans descended on the venue - overwhelming security teams and police. One young girl was hospitalized in the chaos.

After the incident, the singer claimed he and several associates had been threatened with arrest unless he sent out an internet message to fans using his Twitter page, informing them the event had been canceled and urging them to go home. Bieber's manager, Scott 'Scooter' Braun, has now surrendered to police to answer misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment and criminal nuisance - after he allegedly refused to cancel the event.

Through the video by ET, Rosemary explained that the wax is made taller than the real actor. The process to create wax normally takes place between three to six months but with Robert's the artists took extra weeks so that they could pluck in the hair one by one.

The Rosemont Theatre gig was held to celebrate the release of Justin's new album "My World 2.0" which arrived in the U.S. stores on March 23. The Canadian singer, who is estimated to top next week's Billboard Hot 200, made two consecutive performances for the celebration with the first one taking place on the day of the album release.

It has just been reported by Variety that Angela Bassett is cast as Dr. Amanda Waller, a government agent who's a staple of the DC Comics series. The 51-year-old previously starred in TV series "ER" as Dr. Cate Banfield and a number of film features.

Another star who has landed a role in the superhero movie is Marcela Duarte. The Brazilian model revealed the news via her Twitter page, but it has not been known what character that is played by her.

Father to File Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against Michael Jackson's Physician

Michael Jackson's father is preparing to file a wrongful death lawsuit against the King of Pop's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, amid allegations he administered the drugs that ultimately killed his son. Murray has pleaded not guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter after Los Angeles prosecutors charged him with administering the powerful anesthetic Propofol to Jackson minutes before the singer went into cardiac arrest in June 2009 and died.

Joe Jackson wants Murray held to account for medical malpractice and he has instructed his lawyer Brian Oxman to begin proceedings to file the wrongful death claims in Los Angeles County Superior Court next week. Oxman tells TMZ the Jackson family patriarch is seeking an unspecified amount of punitive damages, economic support, loss of companionship and loss of consortium.

"Predators" will follow Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they've been brought together on an alien planet... as prey. "Scream 4" may take its cast and crew to Michigan to shoot the movie there. The report comes out as Production Weekly claims they have learned that Dimension Films has opened up offices for the movie there, allegedly to take advantage of the city's film production tax incentives, which is said "attractive".

The previous films were filmed in different cities in the U.S. The first film's principal photography took place in California. Then director Wes Craven moved the set to Georgia for "Scream 2", which was also partially shot in Los Angeles. The production of the third installment, meanwhile, was held in Los Angeles too.

Paramount Pictures has given another sneak peek to "The Last Airbender" by debuting a new full trailer. Containing some footage similar to those shared in the first trailer, fresh scenes can be seen from the middle toward the end of this newly-released video, one of which is the part where Katara tries to protect Aang when Zuko wants to attack him.

A live-action film version of Nickelodeon's animated series of the same name, "The Last Airbender" is set in a world where human civilization is divided into four nations: Water, Earth, Air and Fire. The story follows Aang, the last known survivor of the peaceful Air Nomads and the Airbenders.

Aircraft Owners Sue Manufacturers Over Travis Barker and DJ AM's Plane Crash

The owners of the plane which crashed and seriously injured Travis Barker and Adam Goldstein aka DJ AM have filed suit against the aircraft's manufacturers. Goldstein, who died of a drug overdose a year after the 2008 accident, and Barker both suffered burns, while four others were killed in the horrific crash in South Carolina.

The companies which owned and operated the jet, Global Exec Aviation and ITAS Inc., were among the firms which reached financial settlements with the survivors and families who lost loved ones. Now executives at the two organisations have filed their own lawsuit against the plane's manufacturers - Learjet and Bombardier.

'The Incredibles' Helmer In Talks to Direct 'Mission: Impossible IV'

As Tom Cruise has signed on to reprise his role as Ethan Hunt in "Mission: Impossible IV" and the movie is gearing to start its production in summer, the filmmakers have been actively looking for a director. A name who has surfaced as the possible director for the upcoming project is Brad Bird, so The Hollywood Reporter (THR) mentioned.

Bird is not alone on the short list as Ruben Fleischer and Edgar Wright are allegedly also in talks to serve behind the lens for this fourth "Mission: Impossible" movie. THR further reported that Cruise and J.J. Abrams, who will produce the movie alongside Paula Wagner, have had meetings with the "Zombieland" helmer and the "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" director.

Official, Katherine Heigl Is 'Done' With 'Grey's Anatomy'

The rumors are indeed true, Katherine Heigl is leaving "Grey's Anatomy" permanently. The actress who portrays Dr. Izzie Stevens on the medical drama told EW that she's "done" with the show after six years. The last that fans will see of her on the show was the January 21 episode.

ABC Studios said that the actress' departure is a mutual agreement between both parties. "We just finalized our agreement," Heigl said about being released from her contract 18 months earlier. "Everyone had been working really hard to find an amicable and gracious way of letting go and moving on. It's sad but it's what I wanted."

He tells Britain's The Sun, "I went to Scotland and traveled around years ago. I went everywhere, saw it all. Edinburgh and Glasgow were special - the architecture is something there. When I was in Glasgow I got involved with this girl. She happened to be the ex-girlfriend of a bit of a bad guy. I ended up having to get out of town because I was getting 'that' look from a guy behind a bar."

Dennis Hopper Accuses Estranged Wife of Stealing His Art Works

Cancer-stricken Dennis Hopper has accused his estranged wife of stealing valuable works of art from him while he was "extremely ill". The 73-year-old filed for divorce from Victoria Duffy in January, citing irreconcilable differences. He subsequently won a court judgment which forced her to move out of his Venice, California residence, and a restraining order to make sure she stays away after a doctor claimed her presence was "hampering" the actor's prostate cancer care.

The "Easy Rider" star's legal team filed papers at Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, March 23 as part of their ongoing divorce battle, and an affidavit from Hopper alleges Duffy removed some of his property while he was undergoing treatment. Hopper claims missing pieces from his art collection include a portrait of him by Andy Warhol, and works by Robert Graham and British graffiti artist Banksy, believed to be worth more than $1.5 million.

Justin Bieber's manager has turned himself in to police to face charges relating to the singer's chaotic appearance at a shopping mall in New York in November 2009. The teenage star was forced to cancel a signing at the Roosevelt Field mall in Garden City, New York after thousands of fans descended on the venue - overwhelming security teams and police. One young girl was hospitalized in the chaos.

After the incident, the singer claimed he and several associates had been threatened with arrest unless he sent out an internet message to fans using his Twitter page, informing them the event had been canceled and urging them to go home.

After three teaser trailers which do not focus on the key storyline, the first full trailer for "Despicable Me" has come out, shedding light on what the film is really about. Though it contains new scenes which have never been included in the previous sneak peek videos, the newly-released video is actually similar to the one screened at 2010 ShoWest in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Giving a preview to mean Gru who plots an evil plan with his army of Minions, the video also offers a look at the gentle side of the second greatest villain when he inherits three orphaned girls. A glimpse of the battle scenes between Gru and the world's #1 supervillain Vector is also shared in this trailer.

Lady Antebellum reclaim the No. 1 position on Billboard Hot 200 this week, making it their fourth non-consecutive week reign. Their album "Need You Now" adds another 93,000 copies (down 11%), becoming the first chart topper to sell less than 100,000 units since Reba McEntire's "Keep on Loving You" ruled the chart with 96,000 in August last year.

The second place on the U.S. albums chart is secured by newcomer "Here I Am" from Marvin Sapp. The record arrives on the list with 76,000 copies, becoming the highest-charting gospel album since 1997 when "God's Property" from Kirk Franklin's Nu Nation bowed at No. 3.

'Lost' Series Finale Title Revealed, Shooting Undergoing

With seven episodes left, creators of "Lost" are ready to reveal the title of its series finale. Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof said on EW podcast that the two-hour episode scheduled to air on May 23 will be titled "The End". The crew and cast have also begun the filming process.

Lost's previous season finale titles include "Exodus: Part 1 and 2", "Live Together, Die Alone", "Through the Looking Glass" and "There's No Place Like Home: Part 1 and 2". Last season's finale was called "The Incident".

'I Spy' Star Robert Culp Died at 79

Bill Cosby's former "I Spy" co-star Robert Culp has died in Los Angeles, aged 79. The actor reportedly fell and banged his head outside his Hollywood home and was pronounced dead upon arrival at hospital on Wednesday, March 24.

Culp began acting in the early 1950s and went on to become a prolific TV star, appearing in hit shows like "Bonanza", "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.", "The Greatest American Hero" and "Police Story". As well as "I Spy", he'll be best known for playing comedian Ray Romano's father-in-law in "Everybody Loves Raymond".

Paramount Pictures has released a new international poster for "Iron Man 2" which gathers all the major characters. Still pairing Iron Man and War Machine on the top side, the official one-sheet also features Tony Stark, Black Widow, Colonel James "Rhodey" Rhodes as well as Pepper Potts. On the lower side, Whiplash is captured unleashing his power.

"Iron Man 2" will follow billionaire inventor Tony as the world is aware that he is the man behind the armored Super Hero Iron Man. Asked to share his technology, Tony is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands.
