Lady GaGa took it to 2Day FM's Kyle and Jackie O radio show to respond to negative comments concerning her latest controversial music video. The singer says that despite all those backlashes the Jonas Akerlund-directed clip is "groundbreaking."

"There are transsexual women and transgender women and suddenly it becomes poisonous and something else because there are some people in this world that believe being gay is a choice," she explained. "It's not a choice, we're born this way."

Rocker Courtney Love made her return to the American concert stage on Friday, March 19 by playing her first U.S. Hole show of the century at the South by Southwest festival in Texas. The singer/songwriter and her new band headlined the SPIN@Stubba's party, and Love took to the stage wearing a feather tiara and a sash that read "BEWARE".

Hole opened their set with their new hit "Skinny Little B**ch" before the frontwoman offered the snarling introduction, "Hey kids, we're Hole." The set was largely uneventful until Love told the audience, which included actress Mischa Barton, to "Shut the f**k up, get serious" as she opened the song "Letter to God", and choked back tears as she sang.

Shia LaBeouf, chef Gordon Ramsay and "Lord of the Rings" star Sean Astin will be among those making history in the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday, March 21. The trio will be among the celebrities taking part in the run, which has sold out for the first time in its 25-year history.

Twenty-five thousand marathon men and women will gather at Dodgers Stadium for the start on Sunday morning. Wrestler-turned-film star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and actress Julia Louis-Dreyfuss will be among the stars cheering on the runners at checkpoints along the route.

A Los Angeles chemist is questioning remarks Brittany Murphy's widower made about his late wife's drug intake, revealing he stopped serving the couple and the actress' mother over fears "there was going to be an accident".

Eddie Bubar, who owns Eddie's Pharmacy, reveals he filled more than 100 prescriptions for the "Clueless" star, her husband Simon Monjack and her mum Sharon between January 2008 and August 2009 under various aliases. The pharmacy boss has told investigators a courier picked the various prescriptions up in an envelope approximately every two weeks with the name 'Lola Manilow Murphy' written on it. He tells TMZ.com that Lola was Murphy's pseudonym.

Actor Michael Vartan is engaged to marry the girl he met in a Los Angeles car park. The 41-year-old "Monster-in-Law" star, who previously dated actress Jennifer Garner, proposed to Lauren Skaar in early March, according to People.

The couple, who met in 2009, plans to wed in 2011. Vartan was previously engaged to Shannon Gleason.

"Shakespeare in Love" star Joseph Fiennes has nicknamed his newborn daughter Baby Love, because he and his wife have yet to settle on an official name. The actor and his wife, Swiss model Maria Dolores Dieguez, welcomed their first child on March 8, but admit they are still searching for the perfect moniker.

However, the couple has set Sunday, March 21 as a deadline - because Fiennes needs to apply for the tot's first passport next week before they can fly to his native England. He says, "(We had a) baby girl, (we're) looking for names so any suggestions would be welcome. It's Baby Love right now, but I've got to get her passport together because we're going back home soon, so I think by the weekend we'll have something."

A brand new promo trailer has been released to share some scenes from "Tekken", a movie adaptation of popular fighting game series with the same name. Opened with a preview of armies in all-black uniforms shooting some people, the video then jumps to show the battle in the ring. The lead character Jin Kazama who is training his fighting skill is also highlighted in the video.

Admiring her courage to stand for her rights, Ellen, who is also lesbian, presented her with $30,000 college scholarship check from the website Tonic.

During "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", the 52-year-old TV host explained, "It's always easy to be quiet. Especially when you know that somebody might tell you no or it's going to cause a scene." She added, "I love that you're not trying to do anything other than go to prom. That's what everyone deserves to do. Go to prom, it's a big deal."

Sandra Bullock's troubled husband Jesse James has something to smile about amid the cheating scandal hanging over him - his beloved dog Cinnabun has been found safe and sound just hours after the pitbull was reported missing. The TV mechanic, who was accused of cheating on the Oscar winner earlier this week, was left with another problem to deal with when his pet pooch wandered out of sight from his West Coast Choppers bike shop in Long Beach, California on Thursday, March 18.

Initial reports suggested the dog had been missing since Monday, March 15 but a rep from the store claimed Cinnabun disappeared on Thursday. A plea for help in tracking down the stray was issued to local residents, and the canine was soon discovered in one of the shop's quiet storage rooms.

Although it looked convincing with the confirmation and all, the report about "Glee" being adapted into a stage production is false. A representative from 20th Century Fox TV which produces the musical show has denied that there's any discussion between them and Music Theater Intl. (MTI).

"We are very careful and deliberate when contemplating brand extensions of our franchises," the studio's spokesman Chris Alexander said, "and are mystified why Music Theater Intl would claim there have been any such discussions about a live theatrical version of 'Glee'." For a fact, MTI confirmed on Thursday, March 18 that there were talks, adding that they were still in early stages of development.

Warner Bros. Pictures has saved the best for the last at 2010 ShoWest in Las Vegas, Nevada. During the studio's presentation dubbed "Big Picture 2010" on Thursday, March 18, a sneak peek to highly anticipated movie "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" was screened to end the event.

Lady GaGa bites back at her former music manager Robert Fusari who filed a lawsuit on Thursday, March 18 claiming he is entitled to 20 percent of her income. The controversial singer counter-sued Fusari a day later, stating that the 2006 contract they signed was "void and unenforceable".

Fusari said in his lawsuit against GaGa's production company Mermaid Music LLC that he discovered a "young Italian girl" and mentored her before she got famous. He even claimed to have dated her and helped her in shaping her sound and style. Furthermore Fusari admitted to have co-written "Boys Boys Boys" and "Paparazzi". He is now seeking $30 million compensation.

After previewed through a short snippet, Miley Cyrus' brand new song called "I Hope You Find It" has finally been unveiled in full. The song is included among soundtracks for the Disney songstress' upcoming movie "The Last Song".

The compilation set is expected to be released on March 26. It also includes songs from the likes of OneRepublic, Maroon 5, Edwin McCain and Allstar Weekend.

Rosie O'Donnell could be the new queen of daytime talk shows. The reigning Oprah Winfrey had previously announced that she's ending "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 2011 to concentrate on OWN and it has just been reported that O'Donnell is re-teaming with a couple of old friends to formulate a new syndicated talk show.

Together with syndication veterans Dick Robertson and Scott Carlin, O'Donnell is planning to have the show launched in Fall 2011. Robertson and O'Donnell once worked together on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" which lasted about six years on air and won a lot of Emmys. Robertson is now the advisor of Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution.

Rap mogul P. Diddy's ambitious plans to buy a soccer team in the U.K. are gathering pace - officials at the club have vowed to fly to the U.S. to discuss a possible deal. British newspaper The Sun revealed on Thursday, March 18 that the hip-hop star is eying a bid for troubled London side Crystal Palace.

A rep for the star told the tabloid P. Diddy is keen to purchase the club - and now an administrator for the bankrupt soccer team has admitted he would be delighted to do a deal with the rapper.

Captain America could end up played by Chris Evans. According to The Hollywood Reporter (THR), the 28-year-old hunk who was recently added to the list of possible depicter of the superhero in "The First Avenger: Captain America" has been offered a deal by Marvel Studios to tackle the coveted role.

If the information told by some sources to the site is indeed true, then it is now up to Evans to decide whether he wants to take the job or not. However, both the studio and the "Push" actor's rep have not given any comment regarding the news.

Reality TV star Katie Price has been ordered to pay "substantial" damages after falsely claiming her ex-husband, Aussie singer Peter Andre, was romancing his manager. Price targeted the "Mysterious Girl" hitmaker in an interview with U.K. chat show host Graham Norton in 2009, insisting Andre was dating his manager/agent Claire Powell.

The allegation was not broadcast but was later reported in the British tabloids. Powell's solicitor Mike Brookes said the accusation was "very damaging and distressing" as well as being "completely untrue", and on Friday, March 19, a judge at London's High Court ordered Price, who was not present, to pay undisclosed damages for the remark.

Janet Jackson channeled her anger at the death of her beloved brother Michael Jackson into one furious scene in Tyler Perry's new movie "Why Did I Get Married Too?", when she had to smash up furniture with a golf club.

The singer/actress reprises her role as a psychotherapist in the sequel to the 2007 movie "Why Did I Get Married?" and admits she found the emotional scene therapeutic after a tough 2009, which saw her split from longtime boyfriend Jermaine Dupri and lose the King of Pop.

As it is getting close to "Clash of the Titans" U.S. release date of April 2, Warner Bros. Pictures has launched several sneak peeks to promote the film. On Friday, March 19, two clips from the movie as well as a batch of fresh stills have made their way out online.

Debuted by Yahoo! Movies, the first clip sees Sam Worthington's Perseus being attacked by Jason Flemyng's Acrisius before he gets help from his fellows. The other snippet which is debuted by Trailer Park Movies, in the meantime, highlights Perseus' effort to gain information on how to kill the Kraken.

Jessica Simpson has a lot of faith in her new TV show that she has high hopes of it getting renewed. To MTV News the singer/actress shared that she wants to travel around the world more so she is crossing fingers for the second season of "The Price of Beauty".

"Right now, I'm promoting this [show], and hopefully we'll be doing a season two and hopefully just travel more," she said, adding that she has other projects in hand beside the reality show. "I'm putting my hands in different things, trying to executive-produce some show ideas. I think people will be very shocked to see what might happen in my life next," she gushed.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Jude Law reeled in shock when they tried on their outfits for "The Aviator" - after the film's costume designer demanded they wore figure-enhancing corsets. Miranda Cosgrove has debuted a music video in support of her first single 'Kissin U". The Nickelodeon songstress is falling in love with a young artist in this video, showing public display of affection with him.

"Kissin U" is the lead single of Miranda's upcoming studio album "Sparks Fly" and was unleashed when the "iCarly" star showed up on a live chat on her Facebook earlier this month. The music video was filmed in Santa Monica, California.

Kirstie Alley is keen to meet a man to fall in love with - but only if he has enough money to feel comfortable with her success. The former "Cheers" star has been divorced twice, splitting from second husband Parker Stevenson in 1997 after 14 years of marriage.

She is now on the lookout for romance - but refuses to waste time on pointless dates with inappropriate men. Alley tells U.S. talk show host Larry King, "I love, and I do want to be in love with someone else in my life. I miss being in love. Two of Paris Hilton's aunts are seeking their own fame through "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills". Identities of the women who will be highlighted on the latest franchise of Bravo TV's reality series about the daily life of socialites have been revealed.

E! Online noted that Kim and Kyle Richards are joining the series. They are both Kathy Hilton's younger sisters who were child actresses. Kim was married twice and both ended in divorce. She has three kids from the marriages and a daughter from a former boyfriend. Kyle is also twice married but she sticks to the second one. She has four daughters.

MGMT have paid tribute to late Big Star's rocker Alex Chilton - dedicating a London gig to the musician, who died on Wednesday, March 17. The 59-year-old passed away at a New Orleans, Louisiana hospital after suffering heart problems.

Primal Scream's frontman Bobby Gillespie paid tribute to the star on Thursday, March 18, calling Chilton a "genius of rock n' roll". Now MGMT has given its own tribute to the legend at a concert in the British capital.

Floria Sigismondi, "The Runaways" helmer, said she would love to direct Lady GaGa's music video. The female director confirmed her interest to MTV on the red carpet of the film's New York premiere on March 17 at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema.

"She'd be fun. She's quite theatrical," Floria said. "I don't know, but I kind of grew up with costumes all my life, so I would go in there and do something kind of surreal maybe."

Tragic actress/model Anna Nicole Smith's long-running battle with her dead husband's estate appears to be over - federal appeals court judges have ruled the star should get nothing. Before she died in 2007, Smith was asking for more than $300 million from oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall's estate.

She maintained Marshall promised her the cash during their 14-month marriage, which ended with the 89-year-old's death in 1995. But, on Friday, March 19, officials at the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in California agreed with the decision of a probate court judge in Texas, who previously ruled that Marshall did not intend to leave the late star any money.

Todd Phillips has had several things set for "The Hangover 2". Speaking to Collider, the helmer informs that he is looking forward to shooting the film in early November this year. He, however, realizes that the date is subject to change because there are a lot of people involved in this film. "That's what we're trying, but you know a lot of it has to do with Ed Helms' [The] Office schedule and Bradley Cooper's other movies," he explains, before adding "Right now our goal is to start shooting November 1st."

In another occasion, Phillips tells Las Vegas Sun at 2010 ShoWest that the script for the film is 75 percent completed. Yet, he is still not sure when asked where the shooting will take place. "It's been talked about, but that's not yet definite," he answers when asked whether the "The Hangover" sequel will be filmed in Miami.

In order to match the up-beat sound of his single "Rollacoasta", Robin Thicke brings party vibe to the accompanying music video. Featuring a cameo from his collaborator Estelle, this video sees Robin going wild in the bash. In one scene, he is captured getting a lap dance from a beautiful woman.

Robin has also shot another music video in addition to the "Rollacoasta" clip. The 33-year-old singer recently spared his time in between tight schedule as a supporting act for Alicia Keys' Freedom Tour to shoot a video for single "It's in the Morning".

Two clips are released in front of "The Vampire Diaries" return next Thursday, March 25. The first clip is about Stefan asking Damon whether he remembers someone named Isobel in the past. The second clip is about the meeting between Alaric and Damon in the bar and Sheriff Forbes asking Damon to be auctioned as a bachelor.

Isobel is the character played by Mia Kirshner who appeared as a flashback in January episodes. She is the wife of Mystic High's new teacher Alaric, who came to the town with a hidden agenda. Executive producers of the show revealed at PaleyFest earlier this year that the tension between Damon and Alaric reaches its climax when Damon's involvement in Isobel's death is unveiled.

Katherine Heigl's triumph at the ShoWest convention in Las Vegas almost ended in embarrassment - a shoulder strap on her designer dress snapped as she was making her acceptance speech. The "Knocked Up" actress was addressing the audience after scooping the Female Star of the Year Award on Thursday night, March 18 when the material holding up the left side of her red frock ripped.

Heigl desperately tried to maintain her composure as she attempted to stop the dress falling away and exposing her left breast - until host Billy Bush gallantly stepped in and spared her blushes by holding the outfit in place. After finishing her speech, Heigl headed backstage and repaired the broken strap with a safety pin.

ABC has released a bunch of stills from the flashback episode of "Brothers & Sisters" which will air on Sunday, April 11. The Walker siblings are portrayed by younger actors in this special episode which takes place in 1986 when William Walker was alive and well.

Called "Time After Time", the episode will be two-hour long and divided into two parts. Executive Producer David Marshall Grant told EW that the episode will go back to three different time periods and expose a "shocking and transformative" secret about the Walker family.

Actresses Demi Moore and Nia Vardalos have helped Florida authorities stage an intervention to save an allegedly suicidal man after they responded to his worrying message on social networking site Twitter. The stars were among hundreds of people who replied to a post from a young man who threatened to hang himself in Casselberry, near Orlando in the early hours of Friday, March 19.

Moore appealed to the youngster with the username 'jeremyllynch' by writing, "R U rlly (really) asking 4 (for) help?", after he posted a note that read, "i'm going 2 (to) send a live feed of me hanging myself. No 1 (one) cares if I die or not." Vardalos also heard about the tragic message and phoned a suicide hotline for advice before being connected to Florida police, leading them to the man's home.

Penelope Cruz's role in "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" has been unveiled. Met by MTV at 2010 ShoWest in Las Vegas, Nevada, executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer has shared details of the character that will be tackled by the 35-year-old beauty.

"She plays the daughter of Blackbeard. She's the daughter of the bad guy," Bruckheimer revealed. While previous report mentioned that her character will be Captain Jack Sparrow's foil and equal in many ways, the filmmaker added, "She brings a lot of humor to it. And the fact that she's so feisty."

After slamming Britney Spears in an interview over her lip-sync performances, Ke$ha is once again overheard blasting the "Circus" singer. This time around, the "Blah Blah Blah" hitmaker is dissing Britney in a song called "Styrofoam".

"In 10 years, Britney Spears...Britney, who?," so the lyrics which take aim at the pop singer heard at around 2:15 mark. "Styrofoam" reportedly is an unreleased song which was leaked from Ke$ha's "Animal" recording session.

Janet Jackson has sent her fresh song titled "Nothing" to radios for listening pleasure. The singer specifically records this new single as one of the theme songs for her upcoming big screen project "Why Did I Get Married Too?".

The song is produced by Jermaine Dupri along with Bryan-Michael Cox. It will be made available for digital download starting March 30. "You haven't heard Janet sound like this in a long time and I think the song is perfect for the movie," Jermaine said of the single. "It's a really good record."
