The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films has announced the nominations for the 36th Annual Saturn Awards, revealing the domination of "Avatar" and "Lost". The big budget sci-fi movie has a chance to have its glorious moment in the event as it earns ten nominations while the hit ABC series grabs the most nods in TV categories with eight.

Beside "Avatar", those which receive multiple nominations in feature film categories are "Sherlock Holmes" with eight, as well as "Inglourious Basterds" and "Watchmen" which are tied with seven each. "Lost", in the meantime, is followed close by "Dexter", "Breaking Bad" and "True Blood" with five nods each.

Paris Hilton's boyfriend Doug Reinhardt is facing a lawsuit from his former landlord, over allegations he trashed the Los Angeles home which was rented for his stint in "The Hills". In September 2009, Reinhardt sued landlord Mark Rooke after the real estate developer refused to repay a $24,000 security deposit over to damage to the property caused by filming the hit MTV show.

Reinhardt demanded the full amount back, minus the $2,332 he agreed to pay in repairs. But Rooke is holding on to the deposit - and is counter suing the baseball player, accusing the sports star of causing "substantial physical and other damage" to the house.

Alicia Keys has unleashed official cover art for "Put It in a Love", her duet song with Beyonce Knowles. Like its music video which was filmed in Brazil and has vibrant tone, this artwork also features the R&B singer in colorful shot.

Commenting on the video shoot in the Rio de Janeiro slum area, Alicia previously told MTV the landscape is perfect and matches the song. "Shooting 'Put It in a Love Song' in Rio, in Brazil, was very incredible," Keys said. "I feel that the energy of the city matches the energy of the song. It's sensual, it's exciting, it's so rich with color. I loved it."

Judi Dench has joined a campaign to stop plans to erect a huge screen in London's Regent's Park during the soccer World Cup in summer. Officials at the Greater London Authority plan to set up a giant screen in the famous park so up to 20,000 soccer fans can watch the games taking place in South Africa in June.

The move has drawn criticism from local residents as well as bosses at the nearby Open Air Theater, who insist the move will disrupt summer shows at the venue. And Dench, who has previously performed at the theater, has added her name to the petition against the screens.

Actress Lisa Rinna has apologized to Heidi Montag after insisting she wouldn't allow her young daughters to look at images of the cosmetically overhauled "The Hills" star. Montag shocked fans after unveiling a completely new look following a string of surgical procedures, including work on her nose, chin, ears, eyebrows, cheeks and breasts.

When former "Melrose Place" actress Rinna was asked her opinion on the reality TV star's transformation, she admitted ripping up Montag's People magazine cover because she didn't want her daughters to see it. She told FanCast.com, "We have two girls. I don't think it is something you want to bring in the house and say, 'Oh, look'."

Eva Longoria is so excited with the arrival of models on the set of "Desperate Housewives" that she wanted to share it with her fans. The depicter of Gabrielle Solis posted on her Facebook, the set pictures of her and co-star Drea de Matteo posing with the guest stars, Heidi Klum and Paulina Porizkova.

Tiger Woods' press conference on Friday, February 19 has been dealt a major blow - the Golf Writers Association of America (GWAA) is boycotting the junket over a ban on reporters' questions. Earlier this week the embattled golfer announced he will face the press for the first time since his sex scandal hit the headlines in November 2009.

However, representatives for Woods will choose which media outlets will be allowed to attend the conference, and they have insisted that no questions will be allowed. The move has infuriated bosses at the GWAA, who have decided to keep their reporters away from the event following a vote by its board.

An official music video for Justin Bieber's new single "Baby" has come in full via VEVO. Featuring Ludacris who lends his vocal on the hook, this video follows the young pop star as he tries to impress his love interest played by Jasmine Villegas.

Justin previously said that the video is inspired by Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel". "We're kind of going off of Michael Jackson's 'The Way You make Me Feel' where he's trying to get the girl's attention and following her around," he said.

Fallen country music star Mindy McCready refuses to watch her seizure episode on U.S. reality TV show "Celebrity Rehab" - because she can't stand the idea of seeing herself in so much pain. The singer sparked a medical emergency when she suffered convulsions on the show, filmed at the Pasadena Recovery Center in 2009.

The graphic episode aired earlier this year, but McCready, who has no memory of the seizure, still hasn't seen the footage. She says, "I can't watch it."

About a week before it is debuted in U.S. theaters, romantic drama "The Yellow Handkerchief" has been premiered in Los Angeles. Taking place at the Pacific Design Center on Thursday night, February 18, the special screening was attended by the leading lady Kristen Stewart.

Sporting a crystal sided Azzaro's "Graffiti" mini dress, Stewart showed off her legs when hitting the red carpet. She was later pictured alongside producer Arthur Cohn before posing next to co-star Maria Bello. Mel Gibson has hired girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva to compose the score of his next movie. The Aussie actor/director is planning an epic about 9th Century Vikings invading England and he wants the mother of his baby daughter to come up with the music for the project.

He made the announcement during an exclusive interview on U.S. news show "Extra", adding, "She's an excellent musician - it sounds like she's got three hands when she's playing."

Reba McEntire and Brad Paisley are booked to perform at this year's CMA Music Festival. Other performers are Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Keith Urban and Zac Brown Band.

Beyonce Knowles has landed another major accolade - she has been named the most successful musician of the new century's first decade in America. Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) bosses have released their decade list of the bestselling artists and Grammy Award record breaker Beyonce tops both the albums and video certifications and ringtone certifications countdown. She landed 64 gold and platinum certifications for sales of albums and videos and a further 19 for ringtones.

The Eagles topped all other groups in total gold and platinum awards with 48, while the late Michael Jackson led male solo artists with 44, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Walt Disney Pictures has shared another sneak peek to "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" by releasing a fresh featurette. Beside providing commentaries from the film's stars as well as producer Jerry Bruckheimer about the shooting which takes place in Morocco, the snippet which is first debuted by IGN also takes us behind the scene of the production and shares some footage which exposes the scenery in the country.

A judge has commended disgraced R&B star Chris Brown's efforts to fulfill the terms of his sentence for assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg requested a hearing with the singer and his attorney in a Los Angeles courtroom to check on the community work she sentenced him to carry out in 2009.

Thursday's, February 18 progress hearing lasted less then two minutes and concluded with the judge telling the 20-year-old, "It looks like you are doing really, really well." In court, Schnegg revealed Brown had worked off 32 of the 180 days of hard labor he had been ordered to carry out as part of his sentencing for lashing out at "Umbrella" singer Rihanna during a row in February 2009, and the singer had also completed a third of the domestic violence classes he was told to take.

Entertainment Industries Council, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, in liaison with FX Network has announced the movies and TV series which may be honored with Prism Awards this year. In the movie category "Crazy Heart" earns three nods while in the TV category "Breaking Bad" leads also with three.

Prism Awards are given to media that address issues related to drug, alcohol, tobacco use, mental illness, bipolar disorder, depression and suicide. Beside TV shows and movies, Prism also honor music, public service project and comic or graphic novel.

Leonardo DiCaprio has distanced himself from reports he's set to portray Frank Sinatra in director Martin Scorsese's upcoming biopic of the late entertainer. The "Raging Bull" filmmaker is set to bring "Ol' Blue Eyes" life story to the big screen in forthcoming film "Sinatra" - and DiCaprio, who has been Scorsese's leading man four times to date, was rumored to be stepping into the "My Way" singer's shoes.

But the "Titanic" hunk is baffled by the reports - because he has not been approached to star in the film. He tells New York Magazine, "There are no plans to do that (portray Sinatra) as of yet." Scorsese admits the movie has been stalled as screenwriters work on the script, but he insists whoever ends up playing the "Rat Pack" legend on the big screen will not be showing off their vocal talents - because the singer's hits are classics.

Morgan Freeman is still unable to move his left hand after damaging nerves in a 2008 car crash. The actor broke his arm and shoulder and suffered nerve damage in the accident, which happened near his home in Mississippi in August 2008.

Freeman was wearing a supportive glove during a red carpet appearance in Los Angeles on Wednesday, February 17, and the 72-year-old admits he's yet to fully recover from the accident. He tells People.com, "I suffered nerve damage and it hasn't gotten better. I can't move it. If you don't move your hand, it will swell up. Do you know you move your hand about a million times a day?"

Country music star Brad Paisley fights off tiredness on tour by drinking lima poop. The Celebrity singer lives for exotic Indonesian coffee kopi luwak when he's on the road - but doesn't like to dwell on how it's made.

He explains, "It's this really rare coffee that my band got me as a gift because we live on coffee out on the road; you need it... Kopi luwak is a delicacy... where, basically, this lima eats the coffee fruit and then craps out the bean and they harvest the beans from the floor of the jungle and make coffee from it. It's supposedly the best."

Justin Bieber and Sean Kingston are seen hitting the studio together for a new song which will be included in the Canadian young singer's upcoming album "My World 2.0". The two are working hard on the chorus of the duet song.

Meanwhile, Justin updated his Twitter by posting a short message suggesting what he is up to. "Just been in the studio cutting a song for Haiti from my home country of Canada!! Canadians stand up!! Glad to help make a difference," he wrote.

Robert Pattinson is slated to appear at 2010 BAFTA Film Awards which will be held on Sunday, February 21. On Thursday, February 18, the show organizer has taken it to BAFTA's Twitter page to confirm that the British actor is tapped to be presenter at the show.

It is not known the winner of what category that will be announced by Pattinson, but he is joined by Kate Winslet, Claire Danes and Uma Thurman among the list of presenters. Other celebrities which are also set to hand out a prize during the event include Guy Pearce, Dustin Hoffman, Clive Owen, Matt Dillon, Noel Clarke, Terry Gilliam, Rupert Everett and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers.

Revered U.S. TV personality Barbara Walters has laughed off reports she is set to wed actor Frank Langella, insisting the stars are just old friends. The pair sparked speculation of a romance in 2009, after they were spotted together in Washington, D.C. for the Kennedy Center Honors.

80-year-old Walters denied claims their relationship is more than platonic but rumors have continued to resurface. Earlier this week, the National Enquirer reported Langella had moved into Walters' New York apartment and was planning to wed the TV host in summer.

Bouncing from her "Twilight" exit, Rachelle Lefevre nabs a TV job in CBS' not-yet-titled drama from "ER" producer John Wells. A source confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that the 31-year-old will take a lead at the medical drama along with fellow feature movie actress Amy Smart.

The drama will revolve "around a team of medical professionals who travel the U.S. helping those in desperate need of assistance." Lafevre is set to play the role of Katy, a "smart and confident medical road warrior who's more comfortable working in the field than in the office." No clue yet when The Eye will pick up the series.

Steven Tyler has confirmed he's returning to Aerosmith for summer festival shows in Europe, insisting he's "excited" about the prospect of playing live again. Tyler stunned the music world - and his bandmates - in 2009 when he announced his plans for a two-year hiatus before quitting the group.

Guitarist Joe Perry immediately launched a bid to replace the frontman for 2010 recording and concert commitments, but it appears Tyler will be back sooner than expected, following a stint in rehab for a painkiller addiction. And just two weeks after the singer's manager, Skip Miller, threatened to sue Aerosmith if Tyler was replaced, the band is planning a series of European shows, beginning with the Sweden Rock Festival in early June - a show the "Dude Looks Like a Lady" singer is thrilled about.

Lady GaGa has begun the U.K. leg of her Monster Ball tour Thursday, February 18 at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester. A big illuminated catwalk was built on stage for her performances which were opened with Semi Precious Weapons and Alphabeat.

She opened the show with "Dance in the Dark" followed by "Just Dance" and "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich". An unreleased track called "Vanity" and a more familiar tune "The Fame" were then brought forward to treat her screaming Little Monsters.

Whoopi Goldberg has vowed never to wed again, insisting she is "not meant to be married". The comedienne has been married three times - her first marriage to drug counselor Alvin Martin ended in 1979; she divorced cinematographer David Claessen in 1988, and she was married to actor Lyle Trachtenberg for one year before they split in 1995.

The failed unions have prompted the "Ghost" actress to swear off marriage for good, and she's asked her friends to stop her if she ever announces plans to wed for a fourth time because she's convinced it will be doomed.

The novelist whose story inspired Jason Reitman's Oscar-nominated movie "Up in the Air" has taken aim at Academy Award bosses for failing to invite him to the March ceremony. Reitman and his writing partner Sheldon Turner are favorites to land gold at the Oscars next month. The big screen project is nominated for six awards, including Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay.

But Walter Kirn, who wrote the original novel on which the film is based, has been snubbed by organizers, and has taken to Twitter.com to blast the Academy for failing to invite him to the event.

Director Martin Scorsese struggled to complete his new thriller "Shutter Island" because the plot was so traumatizing, he had to halt filming to gather his emotions. In the film, Leonardo DiCaprio stars as a tormented cop stuck in a hospital for the criminally insane.

The actor recently admitted he had been left exhausted by the grueling shoot and had been so emotionally drained, he had started to lose his sense of reality. DiCaprio said, "My character was going through extreme emotional trauma and it's hard for those types of things not to rub off on you... ."

The London Film Critics' Circle has announced their picks for the best during the last year. At the gala for the 30th Annual London Critics' Circle Film Awards which was held on Thursday, February 18, Christoph Waltz took one gong as he was chosen as the Best Actor of the Year for his portrayal of Col. Hans Landa in "Inglourious Basterds".

He was joined by "Precious: Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire" star Mo'Nique who came out as the winner in Actress of the Year category, beating out the likes of Vera Farmiga ("Up in the Air"), Carey Mulligan ("An Education"), Meryl Streep ("Julie & Julia") and Abbie Cornish ("Bright Star"). Additionally, another coveted prize, Director of the Year, is won by "The Hurt Locker" helmer Kathryn Bigelow.

Two pictures from the video shoot of Vampire Weekend's "Giving Up the Gun" music video which will feature Joe Jonas as a cameo have emerged. One of the snaps shows the band's performance, and the other sees them in a tennis court.

Though the part played by the Jonas Brothers' vocalist is not teased in the pictures, it is detailed by Emmett Malloy who receives the duty to direct the video. According to him, the band's performance footage will be mashed up with a tennis match which will have Joe as one of the participants.

Pamela Anderson displayed her best assets for all the world to see when she strut down the runway at Mercedes-Benz IMG New York Fashion Week almost naked. On Wednesday, February 17, the busty blonde put on Richie Rich's sparkling silver swimsuit which is scarce material in the belly and breasts area.

Pamela, who is a dear friend to the designer, allegedly delayed the show almost an hour and fifteen minutes long. New York Magazine reported that Pamela did not want to leave her hotel until Rich picked her up personally. The other models, including Rich's muse Tinsley Mortimer, were ready at 9:15 but were mad when they were told to wait for the main act.

Former Happy Mondays singer Rowetta is threatening legal action against Cheryl Cole after the singer allegedly used a sample of her vocals at the BRIT Awards without permission. Rowetta - full name Rowetta Satchell - was approached by Cole's representatives who asked to use her dancefloor hit "Be" in a performance at the show in London on Tuesday, February 16.

But Rowetta was left fuming when they snubbed her offer to sing live at the event, revealing plans for an unknown backing singer to lip sync the vocals instead. The singer alleges Cole's reps assured her they would choose a different sample to use at the show and she was stunned when she watched the performance of Cole's hit "Fight for This Love" and heard her voice used in the track.

Justin Timberlake's mother has been pressuring the star to settle down with girlfriend Jessica Biel - because she desperately wants grandchildren. The pop superstar has been dating the actress since 2006, after romancing a string of stars including Cameron Diaz and childhood sweetheart Britney Spears.

And Timberlake's mother Lynn Harless admits she has been urging her son to have children with Biel because the actress is already part of the family. She tells People.com, "(She's) one of us. She's amazing. She's so down-to-earth and her family is great. I've had friends who have grandchildren and I've tried to express to him that I'm losing that race!"

Susan Boyle sparked fresh fears for her health after collapsing at a London airport on Tuesday morning, February 16. The Scottish singer was preparing to board a British Airways flight to Nice, France at Heathrow Airport when she fainted in the airline's Club Lounge.

48-year-old Boyle was attended by medics before she was given the all clear to fly. She later performed at the San Remo Festival, across the French border in Italy, as planned. An onlooker tells British newspaper the Daily Mail, "It was very dramatic. Susan's legs just gave way under her and she went down."

Justin Gaston doesn't rule out possibility of making a duet with his ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus. To MTV, he recently said, "Ah sure. Maybe. In the future. I don't know. If it's a great song, then why not."

The underwear model is even interested to re-record the "Hannah Montana" star's hit single "The Climb". If the collaborative project for the song remake indeed comes true, the aspiring singer would like to call it "The Climb Part 5... Million".

Lil Wayne's legal woes are mounting the prison-bound rapper is facing a lawsuit over royalties from his 2008 song "Mrs. Officer". Record producer Darius 'Deezle' Harrison and music publishers at The Royalty Network are demanding $2.5 million for the use of the track on Wayne's Grammy-winning album "Tha Carter III".

In a suit filed at Manhattan Federal Court in New York City on Wednesday, February 17, the plaintiffs allege they own the rights to the song, and rights to any profits from ring tones, music videos or streaming media. In 2009, executives at Wayne's label, Cash Money Records, agreed to temporarily halt payments from "Mrs. Officer" amid allegations Harrison lifted parts of the track from a song called "Crush", which producer Michael 'Mali Boy' Bradford composed for a little-known artist named Sky.

Robert Pattinson's fans will have a chance to see the first preview to "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" when they watch his upcoming film "Remember Me" in theaters. Summit Entertainment has announced when the trailer for the third "Twilight" film will be debuted, writing on their Twitter "The #EclipseTrailer will play with REMEMBER ME in theatres on March 12!"

Not only attached to "Remember Me", the sneak peek to "Eclipse" can also be seen on "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" DVD which will be made available for sale on March 20. In addition to featuring the world premiere of a scene from the upcoming film, this seven-minute long sneak peek will also include new interviews with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and the book's author Stephenie Meyer, which are integrated into the behind-the-scenes and on-set footage.

To help ease the pressure that Jay Leno may face on his comeback to "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" that cost Conan O'Brien his job, Adam Lambert is brought in as guest. Through his official site, the singer posted on "Upcoming Appearance" the announcement that he will be performing "Music Again" when the show returns to its old clock.

Adam is scheduled for the Tuesday, March 2 episode, meaning he would be the second guest on the revamped version of the late night talk show. Jamie Foxx had been revealed as the first guest. However, NBC has remained secretive in confirming who will be Leno's guests although the premiere date is approaching.

Former "Malcolm in the Middle" star Frankie Muniz is embarking on another career change - the actor-turned-racing driver has decided his future lies in the music industry. The 24-year-old, who shot to fame as a child star in the family sitcom, quit acting in 2008 to concentrate on becoming a full-time race car driver.

But after several years competing at a professional level, Muniz has put his dream on hold to focus on another new project - he's signed up to play drums in upcoming rock band You Hang Up. A statement on the band's MySpace.com page reveals the star has become a full-time member and will be dedicating his time to making the group a success.

Following a bunch of previously-revealed set pictures, a footage providing a look at the filming process of Young Money's "Roger That" music video is outed by Derick G. It shows Tyga and Nicki Minaj filming their parts and then features the Young Money Entertainment crew gathering in front of green screen with Lil Wayne leading on the front.

The video is directed by Rousseau and was shot in Florida back to back with at least eight music videos for Weezy's "Rebirth" singles and a "Tha Carter IV" track. All the videos will be debuted one after another when Weezy's away to serve his yearlong sentence on a weapon-possession charge which was recently postponed until March 2.

Hollywood star Ryan Gosling has been linked to an internet entrepreneur after the pair was spotted enjoying a pre-Valentine's Day date in Los Angeles. The 29-year-old actor ended his on/off relationship with Rachel McAdams in 2008 after they fell for each other on the set of their romantic drama "The Notebook" in 2004.

Gosling was recently rumored to be dating British actress Jaime Murray, after he was seen partying with the "Dexter" star in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve. Elton John may expect a letter from Christian groups anytime soon. The openly-gay singer has revealed his view of Christianity on Parade Online, saying he thinks Jesus was gay. The interview will appear online in full on Friday, February 19.

"I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems," he told the publication. "On the cross, he forgave the people who crucified him. Jesus wanted us to be loving and forgiving. I don't know what makes people so cruel. Try being a gay woman in the Middle East - you're as good as dead."

Jessica Biel proved her romance with Justin Timberlake is still on this week by cheering the pop star on during his runway show for New York Fashion Week. The couple has been dogged by rumors of a split for months and the "SexyBack" hitmaker fueled the tabloid claims when he pulled out of plans to join Biel on a charity climb up Mount Kilimanjaro in January.

James Cameron apparently does not have the same vision with William Wisher, who partnered him in writing the scripts for first and second "Terminator" films. While the scribe has offered his idea for the possible "Terminator 5" and "Terminator 6", Cameron shows no interest to work on the franchise anymore.

"I have stepped so far away from the 'Terminator' universe," he told MTV during an interview, before adding "I'm happy with that. I made a decision a way's back to just let it have its life, you know?" Frankly speaking, the "Titanic" director claimed, "From my perspective, it's run its course and I don't know what else to say that hasn't been said."

"Harry Potter" 's author J.K. Rowling has blasted a plagiarism lawsuit against her as "absurd" and is pressing for the case to be thrown out of court. Late British writer Adrian Jacobs' estate has filed papers alleging the author approached Rowling's U.K. publishers Bloomsbury in 1987, ten years before his death, and unsuccessfully attempted to sell them his "Willy the Wizard" stories.

Jacobs' family members filed a lawsuit in June 2009, claiming Rowling's 2000 book "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" steals segments of the writer's novel "The Adventures of Willy the Wizard - No 1 Livid Land".
