RZA's New Kungfu Movie Will Turn Into Cult Hits, Producer Says

Rapper RZA's new kung-fu film looks set to become a major movie franchise - if producer Eli Roth has his way. The filmmaker and "Inglourious Basterds" star has teamed up with the Wu-Tang Clan star, real name Robert Diggs, to make "The Man With The Iron Fist" - and Roth is convinced his pal will be able to turn the film into a series of cult hits.

He tells WENN, "RZA's one of the smartest, most creative people I have ever met. He's obsessed with movies the same way Quentin [Tarantino] and I are, and his knowledge of the kung fu genre is nothing short of astounding. He knows everything, and everyone in it, and he's on a mission to reinvent the genre he loves."

Since Sony Pictures announced that they scrapped "Spider-Man 4" and has planned to make a reboot of the franchise without Tobey Maguire, several names have surfaced as the potential depicter of the titular character. Most recently, Jim Sturgess has been rumored to be among the line-up of contenders to star in the untitled Spider-Man reboot.

The news was first brought into attention by The Hollywood News which noticed a retweet by "Adulthood" director Noel Clarke to British actor Arnold Oceng. The original tweet by Oceng on January 17 stated that Sturgess has been offered the part in upcoming "Spider-Man" film. Later, when asked by the site if the rumor is true, Oceng replied, "Of course it is."

Jake told her that he was okay with the fact that Tenley was once married. Tenley did not get eliminated, it was Valishia, Michelle and Elizabeth who did not get the rose. Back in early January, there was a spoiler that Tenley will be in the final two against Vienna.

Online gossip went into overdrive at the weekend, January 16-17, after a person claiming to be Green posted a message on the social networking site about the status of the Hollywood couple's relationship. The Twitter post stated that Green is "engaged and (has) a son from (a) previous relationship."

Boyzone are compiling footage of their late bandmate Stephen Gately in a music video supporting their new single "Gave It All Away". An empty chair is featured throughout the video as a reminder about Stephen's sudden death. At one point, Shane Lynch is seen unable to hold back his tears. The members of the band are captured comforting each other to get through the hard time.

"Gave It All Away" is written by Mika. It features Ronan Keating and Stephen on the lead vocal. The track may be included in the group's forthcoming studio album which is planned to be released as a tribute to the late singer.

DJ Calvin Harris is delighted he quit boozing in 2009 - because it put an end to his drunken antics. The "Acceptable in the '80s" star gave up alcohol to devote more time to his music, and the move has paid off for the London-based DJ.

He says, "I gave up drinking because bad things happened. Things that you just think: 'I really shouldn't have done that.' There have been lots of gigs when I've looked back and gone: 'Oh, it was on television, a lot of people saw that, and I was totally inebriated.' I've had the best year of my life not drinking, it's been great."

Los Angeles Times has got its hand on new photos from upcoming movies including "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps" and "Season of the Witch". The still from the Shia LaBeouf and Michael Douglas-starring movie is the first official image that was released by 20th Century Fox. In the meantime, the fresh picture from the Nicolas Cage's supernatural film shows the lead actor carrying a torch.

"Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps" is set 20 years after the first film. The modern-day story will again center on Gordon Gekko, who has recently been sprung from prison and re-emerges into a much more tumultuous financial world than the one he once lorded over. Directed by Oliver Stone, it is set to be released in the U.S. on April 23.

The arrival of Kreuk as Hannah is another obstacle in Chuck-Sarah relationship beside Routh. Creator Josh Schwartz said previously, "They are obstacles for Sarah and Chuck but I think we just didn't want to bring in characters to merely be obstacles. I think that you'll find the way they interact in the spy story lines and certainly the case with Brandon's character, is going to reveal complications and secrets throughout the season."

Recent earthquake in Haiti, which killed more than 200,000 people and injured many others, has made musicians uniting to raise funds to support the victims. Both Lupe Fiasco and Jay-Z have entered studio to craft songs for Haiti.

Lupe, who climbed mount Kilimanjaro along with Jessica Biel and Emile Hirsch to raise awareness for the world's water crisis earlier this month, teams up with Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda in the studio project. As for Jay-Z, the rap mogul joins forces with U2's Bono and Swizz Beatz.

Superman Not Making Cameo in 'Green Lantern'

There won't any Superman and Green Lantern collaboration in "Green Lantern" movie. Despite rumor that the Clark Kent's alter ego would be making a cameo in the upcoming superhero film, director Martin Campbell has shut down the possibility, telling MTV "No, that won't happen."

Back in December 2008, one of "Green Lantern" scribes Marc Guggenheim told the site that a Superman cameo was being written into early drafts of the film. Later, in July 2009, Guggenheim informed that the script was still not fixed and he was not sure if the Superman cameo will be included in the final cut.

Susan Sarandon Dragged Into Table Tennis Club Lawsuit

Susan Sarandon has been caught up in a legal battle over her New York City table tennis club, with several investors alleging they have been frozen out of the business. The Hollywood actress is one of several entrepreneurs who have handed over cash to help set up SPiN, which launched in September 2009.

But two businessmen, Bill Mack and Iwona Herdzik, claim they aren't happy with the way the club is being run and have filed a lawsuit claiming they have been shut out of operations. The papers, filed at Manhattan Supreme Court last week, allege SPiN's founders Andrew Gordon, Franck Raharinosy and Jonathan Bricklin - the man who was recently linked to newly single Sarandon - issued additional shares of the company to third parties without their approval, mismanaged SPiN's finances and threatened to shut the club and file bankruptcy.
