It seems that there is still a long way for Millennium before deciding who will be cast in their upcoming film "Conan". After being reported to have been considering Kellan Lutz or Jason Momoa to be the potential star for the movie, the studio and its partner Lionsgate Films allegedly have added another actor on their list.

The news was first broken by Deadline Hollywood, which failed to reveal the name of the new contender and only mentioned "another unnamed but better established actor." The unknown actor will be up against Lutz and Momoa to play the title character, Conan, who was previously portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1982 "Conan the Barbarian".

Rockers Coldplay are facing legal action from a man who alleges he wrote three of the band's hit songs. Sammie Lee Smith claims he is responsible for composing the group's tracks "Yellow", "Clocks" and "Trouble", according to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Wednesday, January 13.

Smith alleges the songs were stolen from him - and he wants Chris Martin's band to stop playing them, reports TMZ.com. The unknown songwriter is also demanding unspecified financial compensation.

Actress Kerry Washington is all set to pucker up for a same-sex smooch with Kristin Chenoweth after learning the Broadway star wants her to play her lesbian lover in a planned Dusty Springfield biopic. Last year 2009, Chenoweth revealed she wanted Washington to play her love interest if her dreams of playing the late singer onscreen ever came to fruition. And Washington is game.

The Hasty Pudding is awarded to entertainers who make a "lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment." Renee Zellweger was last year's honouree, while "Spider-Man" star James Franco was named Man of the Year. This year's top man has yet to be announced.

Joe Johnston has shared his idea for upcoming project "The First Avenger: Captain America" which is adapted from Marcel comics. Speaking to Boxoffice Magazine, the helmer stated, "It's not going to be a Captain America that you expect. It's something different."

"It is influenced by the comic book, but it goes off in a completely different direction," Johnston further explained. "It's the origin story of Captain America. It's mostly period - there are modern, present-day bookends on it - but it's basically the story of how Steve Rogers becomes Captain America."

Jessica Biel was so emotional after reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro on Tuesday, January 12, she broke down in tears. Charlie Sheen's wife Brooke Mueller has returned to the couple's Los Angeles home, prompting the actor to move out in order to keep from violating a restraining order filed against him after a domestic dispute in December 2009. Sheen was banned from contacting his wife after a bust-up in Aspen, Colorado on Christmas Day 2009, which landed him in police custody.

The star is now facing charges of second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief amid allegations he threatened Mueller with a knife during the heated argument. Sheen is reportedly keen to have the protection order lifted, while Mueller's attorney filed a motion to have the order's no-contact clause removed.

American reality personality Heidi Montag's pink Hermes scarf is the cause of incident. Police got the report of possible kidnapping allegations of Montag. Michael De Luca recently had a chat with Collider to talk about some of his upcoming projects. One of the movies which was discussed is "Drive Angry" starring Nicolas Cage. When asked about what can be expected from the film, the producer said, "Car parts and body parts flying at you in 3-D."

Additionally, the filmmaker confirmed that he plans to make it a hard-R movie and to have some fun with the film as what was done to "My Bloody Valentine 3-D". "Well, of course these are the writers and the same directors of My Bloody Valentine, so it's designed to," the 63-year-old told Collider.

Spice Girls founder and "American Idol" creator Simon Fuller has teamed up with Jamie King and Perez Hilton to look for talented boys and create "The Boyband for the Next Generation". They are inviting teenagers between 13 and 21 years old to audition for the online talent search.

Perez said they will choose "the best, brightest and boldest" boys to make girls out there screaming. He stated, "This is a boy band unlike any other before. ALL of the members will sing. ALL of the members will dance."

Rocker Pete Wentz has reportedly been suffering from a pinched nerve in his neck after months of carrying his baby son Bronk on his back. The Fall Out Boy bassist regularly takes his child with wife Ashlee Simpson -Wentz out while he runs errands, strapping the tot into a baby carrier.

But having the one year old mounted on his back all day soon became a real pain in the neck for Wentz, and he turned to a chiropractor in New York last month to help fix his problem. "Ghostbusters 3" has slowly shown its shape. After tapping Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky to write the script, the film is now on board with Ivan Reitman serving behind the lens. Being met by MTV on the red carpet of National Board of Review on Tuesday night, January 12 in New York City, he simply said "yes" when asked about whether or not he will helm the upcoming film.

Reitman additionally revealed that the first draft for the movie has been completed by Eisenberg and Stupnitsky. "They have delivered a draft," he stated. "We are working our way through another draft... good work is being done and all of us have our fingers crossed."

Day two in "American Idol" audition for season 9 took place in Atlanta with Mary J. Blige sitting in as guest judge. The city that brought out Fantasia Barrino, Clay Aiken and Jennifer Hudson spawned 25 golden tickets including for one of its police officers.

Bryan Walker is an officer who loves his job but dreams to be a singer. He auditioned in the second leg where Simon Cowell was not present, singing "Superstar" and amazed the judges. Montag insists her decision to have the work done was one she had been contemplating for years after being teased as a youngster. Summit Entertainment has unleashed a new international trailer for Roman Polanski-directed movie "The Ghost Writer". Though it shares many scenes from the movie, the video fails to explain what this film is really about.

A successful British ghostwriter The Ghost agrees to complete the memoirs of former British Prime Minister Adam Lang and flies to an oceanfront house on an island off the U.S. Eastern seaboard to work on the project. As he begins to uncover a dark secret linking Lang to the CIA, The Ghost starts to question whether his predecessor on the project was murdered because of the appalling truth he uncovered.

Jessica Simpson has gone public with her relationship with The Smashing Pumpkins rocker Billy Corgan - revealing the odd couple has teamed up for a new song.

Angelina Jolie's latest film project opposite Johnny Depp is back on track after the director returned to helm "The Tourist" just months after quitting the production. The movie has faced an uncertain future over the last year after a string of stars dropped out - Jolie replaced Charlize Theron and Depp joined after Tom Cruise quit.

Just a day after Jimmy Kimmel put on gray wig and prosthetic chin to mock Jay Leno on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", he accepted an invitation to guest on "The Jay Leno Show". Kimmel will be reading out Leno's "Ten at Ten" list on Thursday, January 14.

The announcement from NBC comes on the heels of Jimmy's monologue about Jay Leno's move to 11.35 P.M. and Conan O'Brien's open letter that rejects it. Country star Taylor Swift is keeping detailed notes on her everyday activities so she will be able to document her life in an autobiography. The 20 year old has already written a 350-page novel which remains unpublished, but she's got big plans for another book about her life as a singing superstar.

And Swift is careful to make notes every day in case she forgets something important. She tells Britain's OK! magazine, "Years from now it would be cool to write a book about all the crazy stuff and the insane things I've gotten to do."

After Robert Downey Jr. dropped out of "Cowboys and Aliens" to focus on his upcoming "Sherlock Holmes" sequel, DreamWorks Pictures and Jon Favreau have been looking for their new lead actor. Latest news mentioned that they are trying to approach Daniel Craig to tackle the major character.

According to Variety, the 41-year-old has been in talks with the studio and the helmer to step in the film and play Zeke Jackson. However, Craig's representative claimed it was too early to comment on whether the English actor would star in the sci-fi movie.

A look at action adventure movie "Ironclad" has been shared in a new sneak peek for the film. Debuted while the film is still being shot, the video hints how intense the film will be by highlighting the battle scenes.

Based on a legendary story, "Ironclad" is set in 13th century England and tells the story of a formidable Knight Templar named Marshall. Joined by his "Magnificent Seven", they defend historic Rochester Castle against the tyrant, King John, and his mercenary army.

Less than a month before the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards is kicked off, several stars confirmed to present trophies at the annual event are announced. Jonas Brothers and Ke$ha are the latest artists booked to announce winners of the big night in the music industry.

Before "One Tree Hill" is back on screen after a Winter hiatus, The CW releases a sneak peek clip to reveal how some things are still not resolved. The scrutiny over Tiger Woods' cheating scandal has not died down and even the U.S. President took time to have a word about it. Barack Obama who met the golfer in April last year said that Woods can absolutely be rehabilitated although he's been accused of infidelity with more than 9 women.

"I don't want to comment on his personal relationship with his wife and family, but I'm a strong believer that anybody can look within themselves, find their flaws and fix them," Obama told the newest issue of People. Obama added he is sure Woods feels "terrible" of what happened and is confident that he would "put his life back together again."

As it was predicted earlier, Ke$ha indeed replaces Susan Boyle on the top spot of Billboard Hot 200 this week. Her first studio album "Animal" opens with 152,000 copies, forcing Susan's "I Dreamed a Dream" to fall to No. 2 with 93,000 (down 32%) after a six-week run at the top.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been featured in new ads of the Spring/Summer 2010 campaigns for Emporio Armani Men's Underwear and Armani Jeans. In the new pictures that have been released by the famous clothing line, the 24-year-old athlete is seen taking off his clothes and baring his abs.

In two images, the winger for Spanish club Real Madrid is seen only using Armani's underwear to strike some poses. The other photo, meanwhile, captures the captain of Portuguese national team donning jeans while lying down.

Like thousands of people in the world, Michael C. Hall is vulnerable to cancer. The star of Showtime's "Dexter" said on Wednesday, January 13 that he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma which is a treatable and curable condition.
