FOX Announces Its Midseason TV Schedule

FOX have released the schedule for their midseason primetime TV line-up. Some shows Like "House M.D." and "Bones" are shifted to another night while others such as "24" and "American Idol" welcome their new seasons.

The network has set two-hour installments on January 13 and 14 for "American Idol" eight season premiere. After that, the reality competition show will get its regular airdate for one-hour time periods on Tuesdays at 8/7c and Wednesdays at 8/7c, the following week.

Sneak Peek of Showtime's New Series 'United States of Tara'

Showtime network will have a new upcoming dark comedy series which will be premiered on January 18 at 10/9c. The series is entitled "United States of Tara" and starred by Toni Collette as Tara. The network has picked up the series for original 13 episodes including the pilot.

The story will revolve around Tara's life as a wife and a mother of two children who suffers from multiple personality disorder. John Corbett joins the series by playing as Tara's husband, Max. Other involved actors and actress are Brie Larson, Keir Gilchrist, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Nathan Corddry.

Steven Spielberg Could Team Up With Will Smith for 'Oldboy' Remake

Rumor has it, Steven Spielberg and Will Smith have found a project that may allow them to work together. According to Variety, the director-actor pair has been involved in early talks about collaborating their star powers on "Oldboy", a remake to Chan Wook-Park's 2003 Japanese manga adaptation.

Reportedly, Spielberg has been seeking for a chance to team up with the "I Am Legend" star. Hence, if all goes according to plan, he will finally have the opportunity to direct Smith as the 40-year-old Hollywood star is said to be considered for the lead role of the kidnapped man. Additionally, the filmmaker is said to be looking for a writer to develop the movie.

Sneak Peek of 'Life on Mars' 1.06: Tuesday's Dead

There is a life and death hostage situation in the next episode of "Life on Mars". Sam Tyler must deal with the uncontrolled situation to save the hostages' life while at the same time he has to save his own life next on the episode entitled "Tuesday's Dead".

The episode will revolve around the crazy gunman who tries to force a doctor to do a dangerous operation for the gunman's brother. He kidnaps the people on County hospital to insist the doctor. Sam and his 125 crew are faced by the reality that the hopeless madman will do even worse on the fact that he already kills several people there. They are ordered to diffuse a potentially explosive face-off. Sam, Ray Carling, Annie Norris, and Lt. Gene Hunt are all targeted in the madman's cross hairs.

Billy Ray Cyrus Doesn't Approve of Miley Cyrus' Dream Car

Celebrity father-daughter duo Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus definitely have different tastes when it comes to car as the older Cyrus reportedly doesn't approve of his daughter's dream car. Instead of getting her a black Mercedes, which she's been dreaming of for her forthcoming 16th birthday, he would like to get her a car with "extra metal in the doors".

In an interview on "The Tyra Banks Show", which airs Friday, November 7, Miley publicly stated, "I want [my Mercedes] black and then just the little Mercedes signs to be pink. And I would like the stitching and steering wheel to be pink." Asked about that matter by Ryan Seacrest during a phone-in for his morning show on KIIS FM, Billy claimed he knows nothing about Miley's dream car. "Is it true that your daughter wants this Mercedes with leather seats, pink stitching and pink steering and if so do you approve of that?" Ryan asked Billy. On that, the country music singer replied, "No I haven't heard anything about that. It is possible ... but I haven't heard about it."

Baltimore-born and bred singer Scooter Smiff has released a music video in support of the title track off his debut album "Head of My Class". Featuring a cameo appearance from Chris Brown, the music video presents the rapper singing his verses to the camera along with his peers.

"Head of My Class" will be produced by powerhouse producers such as Swizz Beatz, Eric Hudson, and Polow Da Don. No release date for the upcoming LP has been announced. In the meantime, the Interscope artist is expected to hit the road for a tour around the release of the effort. Sherlock Holmes Deals With Women's Butcher

As "Sherlock Holmes" is undergoing its principal photography in London, possible story details of the Guy Ritchie-directed drama thriller have been leaked out. Getting the story from one of its readers named "Jack the Ripper", IESB teased parts of the details, noting that the movie will be set in 1891 London and opened with a narration by Dr. John Watson.

More on the story, it is revealed that there will be a foot chase into an underground sewer and a fist fight with a group of bowler-hat-wearing baddies as well as a seven-foot giant. Through the plot details, it is also uncovered that villainous Lord Blackwood is actually behind the death of five butchered women and Sherlock Holmes manages to get a hold of him for justice. First of all, Ellen and Chris will get their party started at Tao restaurant and nightclub on Saturday night, November 8 to coincide with the hot spot's third anniversary. There, the pair will be joined by actress Kate Walsh, Ellen's co-star in the hit TV series "Grey's Anatomy", and her husband Alex Young, the source informs.

"Mystery Man" is a non-album track which will appear on the band's "Who's Gonna Save My Soul [EP]". Speaking of the song itself, the band said, "It's a song we weren't sure what to do with. We didn't know how to finish it, but we still liked what we had. It's half instrumental and half vocals."

Mid the mission, the threesome was attacked by Alastair and Ruby escapes with the girl. This prompts Dean to believe that they are set up, but Sam explains to him that they should trust Ruby and tells him what happened while he was in hell and how Ruby saved his life. Meanwhile, Castiel and Uriel return and demand to be taken to Anna but not for the reason Dean thinks.

'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' Trailer Aimed for Early December Release

A clue to when "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" theatrical preview is going to be released has been sparred. In the latest news related to the "X-Men" spin-off, XmenFilms.net reported that the 20th Century Fox is planning to release the action fantasy film's first trailer on December 12 before "The Day the Earth Stood Still".

Of the matter, XmenFilms.net quotes a statement from the studio, "We are shooting for 12/12 on DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL now..." On the particular December date, "Earth Stood Still" will have its simultaneous debut in conventional theaters and IMAX in the U.S. Still, confirmation words from Fox have yet to be offered.

Walt Disney Pictures have brought forward a brand new trailer of its family comedy animation, "Bolt". Opened with a shot of a hamster cage in a mobile home, the video footage slowly gets closer to each of the hamsters kept inside their 'glass house'. The scene then moves on to show that a TV-obsessed hamster is channel-surfing in front of the tube and finds one show he likes, "Bolt the Super Dog".

Presenting Bolt as a super dog in front of the camera and an ordinary one off, the trailer reveals many never-before-seen footage from the Chris Williams and Byron Howard-directed movie. It displays the comic adventures of the superstar dog has to undergo as he tries to find his way back to where he belongs, in the arms of his owner, Penny.

Thumbs Up for 'Sex and the City' Sequel From Kim Cattrall

After months of uncertainty hanging over "Sex and the City" sequel, a ray of light comes from one of the hit movie's stars, Kim Cattrall. During her appearance on Britain's "The Paul O'Grady Show", the 52-year-old exclaimed to guest-host Spice Girls' Melanie Brown that the sequel is indeed in the pipeline, stating, "Yes there will!"

According to the BBC, the Golden Globe Award-winner even went further by revealing when the production may possibly start. "We will do the sequel next summer," she gushed. New 'Pink Panther 2' Trailer Shares a Glimpse of Aishwarya Rai

Inspector Jacques Clouseau is back. When the legendary Pink Panther diamond is once again stolen, the bumbling and incompetent French police inspector is called in to team up with a squad of International detectives who are just as clumsy as he is. Appointed to stop a daring cat burglar, The Tornado, from stealing historical artifacts, Clouseau and his team fall in a new outrageous adventure to solve the case.

Through the new trailer of "The Pink Panther 2", a little bit of the comedy movie's plot is unraveled and many of the tickling scenes are presented. In the more-than-two-minute video, it can be seen that Steve Martin returns to his comical role as Clouseau. Previously confirming the circulating rumors that Joe Jonas dumped her over the phone, Taylor Swift has been forced to address Internet reports surfaced by the hour claiming she's pregnant with his baby, branding them "impossible." She posted a brief message on her MySpace blog, dated Thursday, November 6, writing, "I read a very creative rumor this morning saying I'm pregnant, which is the most IMPOSSIBLE thing on the planet. Take my word for it. Impossible."

A Series of 'Quantum of Solace' Clips Found

In anticipation of "Quantum of Solace" forthcoming release, more clips from the latest James Bond movie have been dug out. Sharing out the heavy topic dealt by some of the main characters in the action movie, the newly-found footage are focused on revealing the conversations among the characters, especially Bond, M, Camille and Dominic Greene.

The first three clips posted below, "It's Time to Go", "Damaged Goods" and "Have You Ever Killed Someone?", leave out the action sequence aside. In "Time to Go", M points out Bond's flaw as the 007 criticizes her judgment, while "Damaged Goods" displays the first meeting between Bond and Camille through Greene.
