Disney star Miley Cyrus is spotted walking hand-in-hand with model Justin Gaston on her way to church. Following the service, the 15-year-old "Hannah Montana" star then grabs lunch together with the man at Pasadena's Cheesecake Factory.

The scene generates speculations that the two are romantically linked, especially with the fact that the "7 Things" singer has broken up from ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas of Jonas Brothers. Neither Miley nor Justin has given their statements concerning the rumor though.

As promised by Fox earlier, an exclusive first look at "The Day the Earth Stood Still" extended scene has been viewed on small screen on Sunday, September 14, and now the seven minutes long clip can be enjoyed also by those who missed it out. Providing more detailed look into the movie, the clip seems to serve as an elaboration of the previously-released teaser, displaying Helen Benson's role in the government's secret investigation and revealing footage before Klaatu is brought to the questioning room.

Focused on the concerns of man against nature rather than man against man like in the original film, "Earth Stood Still" resolves around the humanoid alien which arrivals on Earth triggers a global commotion as governments and scientists race to unravel the mystery behind his appearance. It is written by David Scarpa and put Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Connelly, Jaden Smith, Kathy Bates, Jon Hamm and others as the stars. Principal photography has been taken in Vancouver, while the movie itself will be released on December 12.

The world-famous cartoon series, "The Simpsons", has been awarded the highest honor as the Best Half-Hour Animated Show at this year's Creative Arts Emmy Awards for their 19.09, entitled "Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind". Announced on September 13, the achievement has marked the TV show's big wins for tenth time during a prime time aired on FOX.

The episode in which The Simpsons receive the awards, focuses on the story of Homer Simpson, who is heavily drunk during a winter. Unable to deal with the situation that he considers as disaster, Homer decides to commit suicide by jumping off the bridge.

Known to portray many tough guy roles, Hollywood veterans Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are looking forward to be able to play women in comedy movie. In an interview with British radio station Heart, the two revealed that for their next film project, they would love to dress up as the opposite gender and act up as sisters.

Opening up on the subject, Pacino stated, "It's a great idea. That could be something for us to work on. Robert has done some great and very successful comedy movies and he's made the transition really well, without a problem. He was amazing. He's invented himself over again and that takes a very special talent." On similar note, De Niro added, "We could do that, I like the idea. We could play sisters. That could happen...who knows?"

This week, "Fringe" will touch a horrific case and a clip from the episode has been given. The clip for the second episode which is called "The Same Old Story" shows how a woman starts off not pregnant until she's dead giving birth to the strange baby.

The young woman has just finished having sex with her partner in a motel when suddenly she feels something moving in her belly. Screaming in pain, she is taken to the hospital by her boyfriend who abandons her in front of the building. Visibly not knowing what happened, she dies on the operating table and the surgeons instinctively try to save the baby by performing a C-section.

Jennifer Lopez has completed her first ever triathlon. Competing at the Nautica Malibu Triathlon in Malibu, California on Sunday, September 14, the 39-year-old has successfully finished the race in 2 hours, 23 minutes and 38.8 seconds and what made it even better, through her participation, she has raised $127,000 benefiting Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Expressing her excitement upon crossing the finish line, she thanked the supporting crowd saying, "Thank you guys so much. This is an amazing day." She then added, "I feel really great and so glad I finished and that I made it out of the water but more amazing than that, I feel really great that we raised $127,000 for the Children's Hospital [Los Angeles] and hopefully it'll go to good use."

"Kung Fu Panda" DVD edition will be getting a direct-to-video companion film when it is available in stores. Making the announcement are Paramount Home Entertainment which points out further that the film will be entitled "Secrets of the Furious Five" and will be bundled with the original film as part of a "Pandamonium Double Pack".

Though its slug-line "The Kung Fu Panda story continues" may lead to the speculation that it is a sequel, The Hollywood Reporter explains that the storyline will be dealing with the back stories of the characters from the original film. Additionally, it is unclear whether this is the same film as the earlier reported sequel planned by DreamWorks. Still, Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman will lend their voice once again.

Jack White of The White Stripes is reportedly unhappy when the song that he has penned with Alicia Keys is used for Coca Cola promotional campaign. "Jack White was commissioned by Sony Pictures to write a theme song for the James Bond film 'Quantum of Solace', not for Coca Cola," Jack's spokesperson recently says.

Furthermore, according to the statement issued by the publicist, Jack is mainly upset because the song titled "Another Way to Die" has been leaked before its official release date that reportedly coincides to the movie's premiere on October 29. "We are disappointed that you first heard the song in a co-promotion for Coke Zero, rather than in its entirety," his representative adds.

A spoiler to the fifth episode of "Gossip Girl" season two has been given. The chapter which will be called "The Serena Also Rises" and aired on September 29 will take place during the Fashion Week where all the dramas and conflicts continue despite the hectic schedule.

Blair who in particular should be busy due to her involvement in Waldorf Design, decides to sabotage her mother's fashion show as an expression of anger. Words are Columbia Pictures are looking forward to do another sequel of "XXX" which is tentatively entitled "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage". Said to be in talks with producer Joe Roth for the sequel's possibility, the studio allegedly plan to team up once again the film's original lead actor, Vin Diesel, and helmer Rob Cohen.

According to Variety, Diesel and Cohen have agreed to come back for the new project although no deal has been signed yet. Diesel will once more take on his Xander Cage character, law-breaking extreme sports enthusiast-turned-government agent. In the first sequel, "XXX: State of the Union", which stars Ice Cube and directed by Lee Tamahori, Cage has been reportedly killed in Bora Bora leading to his replacement by imprisoned former U.S. Navy SEAL Darius Stone as the XXX.

HBO's new series "True Blood" have folded its first two episodes and is moving towards the third one which will be called "Mine". The September 14 edition provides the next week chapter where bar girl Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) is trapped with Bill Compton's (Stephen Moyer) vampire friends.

Vampires Malcolm, Diane and Liane get a hold of Sookie but retreat after Bill saves her. Back at Merlottes, Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) and Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley) come to the rescue of Sookie also in a bar fight. Sam himself is seeking a remedy to his loneliness while Tara is dealing with her alcoholic mother. Jason, meanwhile, turns to Lafayette, Merlottes' cook, for help with his problem.

Britney Spears will reportedly head up to Las Vegas for a New Year's spectacular live show. "They are cooking up the idea of making a big bold statement by making her comeback on New Year's Eve," says an insider.

The rumor continues floating with a claim that Britney will take the stage at Pearl theater in the Sin City shortly before midnight with companionship from burlesque dancers, fireworks and special effects. Following the New Year's show, she then will embark on a world tour to continue promoting her upcoming album, which will reportedly be available for purchase on Christmas.

Before Guinness World Records 2009 Edition hit the shelves on Wednesday, September 17, their 2009 list of top celebrities has been unveiled and among those inscribed in are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The Hollywood power couple has been dubbed Most Powerful Actor and Actress respectively. Taking the ultimate titles, Pitt ended Tom Cruise's reign, while Jolie pushed off last year topper Jennifer Aniston.

Apart from Pitt and Jolie, former pop princess Britney Spears has been named the Most Searched Person on the Internet. Following her personal turmoil and recent turnaround with winning the Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, the 26-year-old has taken the crown from last year's winner, Paris Hilton.

Born to Dianna Lovato, a former country recording artist, Demi Lovato wants to follow her mother's step by embarking a new career as a singer. She first hinted her move on a solo tour, "Demi Live! Warm Up Tour". Following that solo gigs, Demi joined Jonas Brothers in their 2008 summer tour, entitled "Burnin' Up".

In 2008, Demi has finally entered music studio with the Jonas boys, who contribute in the songwriting credit for her new materials. Titled "Don't Forget", the album is expected to hit the market on September 23 in the United States via Hollywood Records.

A spoiler for this week's episode of "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" has been given through the release of a clip. Putting Derek (Brian Austin Green) in conversation with an injured Sarah (Lena Headey), the video is a sneak peek to the episode 2.02 which is titled "Automatic for the People".

U.K. female group Girls Aloud have just released a new single named "The Promise" through BBC. Described as "a stormer of a track", the song is to follow-up to their funky summer single "Can't Speak French" from their 2007 effort "Tangled Up" and is reportedly set to appear in the girls' not-yet-titled new album.

Unfortunately, details of the hot group's comeback album haven't been revealed yet. Its production, though, is likely to come from their longtime producer Brian Higgins/Xenomania.

Wrapping up the 33rd Annual Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday, September 13, a list of movies have been awarded with special prizes. Among the event's winners was "Slumdog Millionaire", a drama about an Indian teenager who is about to be a millionaire.

Considered to be an underdog, the Danny Boyle-directed movie brought home the Cadillac People's Choice Award as well as the $15,000 prize, beating out Kristopher Belman's "More Than a Game" and Cyrus Nowrasteh's "The Stoning of Soraya M.". Upon winning the award, one of the film's stars, Freida Pinto, expressed her excitement, "It was an exhilarating feeling. When they clapped and gasped and literally went ga-ga over the last dance sequence, it was a wonderful feeling...I was shaking."

Country music darling Taylor Swift has dropped a music video for her lead single, entitled "Love Story". Containing romantic lyrics which are combined with mid tempo country and pop sounds, the tune is scheduled to appear in her highly-anticipated album "Fearless", which is due for release on November 11 via Big Machines Records.

The music video itself speaks of Romeo-and-Juliet love story where Taylor plays the part of Juliet while Nashville star Justin Gaston plays Romeo. They are shown to be attracted to each other during their first meeting in a dance ball and decide to follow up their love-at-the-first-sight with a midnight date in a stable.

Britney Spears is struck with on-set romance after she is reportedly falling for Russell Brand who did a promotional video with her for this year's MTV Video Music Awards. Words on the block, Brand dumps his actress girlfriend Teresa Palmer to be with Spears.

Sources claimed to have seen the two having an intimate dinner at Little Red Door in Hollywood on Friday, September 12. They arrived and left the restaurant separately to avoid paparazzi from taking snaps.

Rumor has it that "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria may be one of the superheroes in "The Avengers". The speculation has been brought up after a series of her photos clutching a copy of The Avenger comic book when leaving the L.A. offices of Marvel Comics was uncovered. The images posted by Flawed Hollywood was said to be taken on Friday, September 12.

Further on the story, L.A. Times inferred that Longoria may be eyeing the possibility to portray superheroine The Wasp. Wasp, who is initially a self-centered heiress and daughter of wealthy scientist Vernon Van Dyne named Janet, is one of the founding members of the Avengers. Upon her father's death, Janet requested Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym, a.k.a Ant-Man, to give her "Pym particles" which allows her to shrink, grow wings and fire blasts of energy.

Quick Stop Entertainment has presented a sneak peek into Terry Gilliam's currently in its post-production fantasy drama, "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus", through a claimed-to-be teaser trailer. Displaying the artwork, set design and brief glimpses of actual scenes of the film partly starring the late Heath Ledger, the teaser which looks more like a featurette contains introduction from Gilliam himself.

Sharing out the storyline, the helmer of "The Brothers Grimm" and "Twelve Monkeys" explained that the movie will begin in modern London. It is going to follow thousand-year-old prophet named Parnassus who made a secret with the devil long time ago, a secret which may destroy the lives of his and his traveling theater, The Imaginarium, or possibly save them depending on whom they meet. One day, he meets Tony, a man who hangs himself from a bridge in London. After saving Tony's life, he now has to unravel whether Tony is there to save them or he is sent by the devil.

Tina Fey twisted her hair to a formal bun and wore a different kind of glasses to resemble Vice President candidate, Sarah Palin. The comedienne returned to the new season of "Saturday Night Live" on Saturday, September 13, parodying the Republican representative alongside her "Baby Mama" co-star Amy Poehler who portrayed Hillary Clinton.

The skit was labeled as a "non-partisan message" that discussed on the issues of sexism in the hype of the presidential election. Poehler as Clinton said, "I believe that diplomacy should be the cornerstone of any foreign policy." Fey then added, "I can see Russia from my home" as a satire to Palin's lack of knowledge in international affairs.

Jonas Brothers recently revealed that they are huge fans of hot female group Girls Aloud and had asked the girls to headline their recent series of live performances across America this summer. "We're huge fans of Girls Aloud. They are all really talented. We were looking into taking the girls on a U.S. tour this summer," Kevin Jonas said in a statement.

However, the two groups' busy schedules had prevented them from hooking up. "The timings didn't work out," Kevin added as saying. Due to the cancellation, the Jonas trio had then decided to sign "Barney & Friends" star Demi Lovato as a special guest in their "Burnin' Up" tour.

Joel and Ethan Coen's drama comedy "Burn After Reading" has led the North American box office's pack. Claiming the coveted #1 position, the Focus Features film helps to bring an end to the seven consecutive super-slow weekends following the superb opening of "The Dark Knight" and marks a rebound from last week's worst weekend sales in five years.

With $19.1 million, the George Clooney and Brad Pitt-starrer flick has become the best movie debut ever for the filmmakers brothers. Their previous movies to open above the $10 million milestone are 2004's comedy starring Tom Hanks, "Ladykillers" with $12.6 million opening and 2003's Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones-starrer "Intolerable Cruelty" with $12.5 million debut.

Jennifer Hudson said yes to her boyfriend of less-than-a-year, David Otunga. Representative of the American Idol alumna confirmed to People that she is engaged to Otunga who proposed during her 27th birthday.

"I can confirm that Jennifer got engaged to her boyfriend David on Friday night in L.A.," the rep said. Otunga who is known also as "Punk" in reality show "I Love New York 2", reportedly presented her with a Neil Lane diamond ring when proposing.
