Liam Gallagher Calling Radiohead and Coldplay's Fans Boring and Ugly

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has attacked fans of Radiohead and Coldplay with harsh critics. He said that these people are boring and ugly as they don't know how to have fun.

Speaking of them, he says during an interview, "I've mellowed, but not in the sense of liking Radiohead or Coldplay. I don't hate them. I don't wish they had accidents. I think their fans are boring and ugly and they don't look like they're having a good time." Meanwhile, when asked about his taste of music, Liam admits that he doesn't like contemporary bands and prefers older bands. He says, "I play The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Neil Young, Sex Pistols. Maybe a bit of The Stone Roses. Don't like modern bands. Topman music, innit?"

Kevin James' 'Mall Cop' Gets Teaser

Enthusiastic and dedicated, Paul Blart is a mild-mannered man who loves his job as a mall cop. Still, loving his job doesn't necessarily give him respect from his colleagues and other mall employees. When a gang of organized crooks plans to rob the entire mall though, he is left with a responsibility to save the day.

Directed by Steve Carr, the director of "Are We Done Yet?", "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" is a new comedy film from comedian Kevin James. Co-produced by James, Adam Sandler, Jeff Sussman and Todd Garner, the Columbia Pictures' flick stars James, Jayma Mays and Keir O'Donnell among others. It will hit the theaters on January 16, 2009.

Rumors are swirling yet again that Daniel Craig is to wed girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell. And confirmation on that matter seems to have been accepted by pictures of him purchasing a crate of expensive champagne in Marylebone, central London over the weekend.

The James Bond actor reportedly promised to wed his longtime girlfriend Satsuki after filming wrapped on his latest Bond film "Quantum of Solace". He fueled wedding rumors as he was photographed carrying a box of pricey Bollinger champagne.

Official Tracklisting of Ne-Yo's Upcoming 'Year of the Gentleman'

Rapper Ne-Yo has allowed his fans to find out more about his upcoming third studio album "Year of the Gentleman". Its official tracklisting has been showed up to public. Sixteen tracks that have been confirmed to be featured in the album are said to mainly talk about diversity.

In one of the tracks called "Know What I'm Talking About", Ne-Yo teams up with rappers Nas and Jay-Z. In addition, he will also collaborate with another rapper Talib Kweli in single "Feels Better". His first single is a track called "Closer" which he describes as having mixed tunes from alternative to rock. He says, "It's a little bit of alternative, a little bit of pop, a little bit of rock." Meanwhile, for second single, Ne-Yo is reported to pick up "Miss Independent".

Captain Kirk to Have Evil Stepfather in 'Star Trek'

Behind his amazing leadership on the USS Enterprise, it looks like the ever-so-famous Captain James T. Kirk holds back a dark history. And from an interview with Dominic Keating at the Creation Official Star Trek convention in Las Vegas, it is revealed that Kirk's dark past possibly is going to be exposed in the J.J. Abrams' forthcoming "Star Trek".

Giving a further explanation about his previous "Star Trek" audition report, the depicter of Lieutenant Malcolm Reed on television series "Star Trek: Enterprise" revealed who he is eyeing to be. "I was gonna play, had I gotten it, what was it? I was going to play the evil stepfather to James Kirk, yeah it was his stepfather," so claimed the 46-year-old. "They were very very very cagey about the script so I literally got three speeches to go in with."

Jonas Brothers keep themselves innovative in pleasing their fans during concerts. The teen heartthrobs presented country singer Taylor Swift as the guest artist of their New York City concert on Sunday, August 10 at Madison Square Garden.

The 18-year-old country crooner joined the trio on the stage to sing a duet of "Should've Said No", the fifth and final single of Swift's debut album. Swift who dons a metallic blue mini dress and a pair of boots moved the crowds to their feet when she suddenly was introduced as the guest. The brothers are scheduled to perform again in the same venue tonight, August 11.

No Robert Englund's Freddy for 'Nightmare on Elm Street' Remake

Ever since the words on the remaking of Wes Craven's 1984 horror classic, "A Nightmare on Elm Street", surfaced, many has put up high hopes on seeing Robert Englund reprising his memorable role as the evil Freddy Krueger. However, it seems that it is not what Brad Fuller, one of the horror reboot's producers want to present the audience with.

Planning to deliver a different feeling to the new Krueger's tale, Fuller confessed at the 2008 San Diego Comic Con that he is more interested to introduce a new Freddy than to bring Englund back. "I think it has to be [a new Freddy] and I know fans hate to hear that and everyone says you have to put Robert in. He said it too," he said as quoted by Movies Online. "I think that in order to differentiate what we're doing from the other ones, we would need to find someone else to play that role."

Young and famous, Taylor Swift has no doubt in showing her charitable side. The country music recording artist has announced that she's donating $100,000 to the Cedar Rapids, Iowa branch of the Red Cross for flood relief.

The 18-year-old girl made an announcement on her donation while she was on stage at her concert in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Friday, August 8. She, according to a source close to her, initially planned to cancel the concert "thinking few people could attend." She nevertheless decided to "carry on" after the mayor of Cedar Rapids asked her to go on with the gig.

2006 American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee has recorded a single "Connected". The song will be featured in the soundtrack of upcoming cartoon movie "Barbie & The Diamond Castle".

The video mostly displays Katharine singing on a stage set in an indoor building with dark background and white lamps on its roof. At some point, the display changes from the look of Katharine to a display of cartoon barbies. The changes then take regular turns, giving audiences a sneak peek of movie plot. The movie will be released in the form of DVD, launched on September 9.

Kennedy and 82 Days That Inspired America", filmmaker Chris Columbus is going to take an important part to "Untitled Robert F. Kennedy Project". The 49-year-old will direct the movie project chronicling Robert F. Kennedy's 1968 presidential run.

Aside from taking the director role, the executive producer to the two "Fantastic Four" movies is going to produce the film with his 1492 Prods. partners, Michael Barnathan and Mark Radcliffe. 'Bourne' Director Paul Greengrass to Replace Steven Spielberg for 'Chicago 7'

Despite the fact that Steven Spielberg has been confirmed to be out of "The Trial of the Chicago 7" directional picture, DreamWorks SKG seems to refuse letting the drama movie to go down the drain. Words are the studio now has Paul Greengrass, the director of the last two "Bourne" movies, including "The Bourne Ultimatum", attached for the project.

First to break out the news was Film School Rejects. Claiming to get the tidbit from Production Weekly's pages, Rejects noted that Weekly has updated its "Chicago 7" listing which pointed out that Greengrass' name has been listed on the director's slot. Still, DreamWorks have yet to make any formal announcement about this subject.

Yung Berg was arrested early Saturday morning, August 9 in New York City on gun and marijuana charges. His arrest was first reported by Urban411.com but the site had no details on the encounter.

TMZ, elsewhere, reported on its site that Berg's arrest occurred after a limousine driver filed a complaint with police claiming he got into a dispute with Yung Berg and his entourage of four people. Following an investigation, police then arrested Berg and his companions and charged them all with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana and menacing.

New 'Star Trek' Character Posters Four Starfleet Officers

If the 2008 San Diego Comic Con helped to introduce the uniquely-designed character posters of Nero, Uhura, Spock and Captain Kirk, the 2008 VegasCon revealed four new characters from the upcoming J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek" movie. Made in the same design as the previous character posters, these posters expose Sulu, Scotty, Chekov and Bones McCoy.

The combined poster is posted on the news photo, while the individual ones can be enjoyed below. Each of them display in respective order John Cho as the USS Enterprise's staff physicist Hikaru Sulu, Simon Pegg as the Enterprise engineer Montgomery "Scotty" Scott, Anton Yelchin as Starfleet officer Pavel Chekov, and Karl Urban as Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy.

Musician Isaac Hayes Dies at U.S. Home

In the wake of Bernie Mac's death early Saturday morning, August 9, Hollywood woke up the following day to the news of other death, which was that of Isaac Hayes'. The soul and funk singer-songwriter and musician died early Sunday afternoon, August 10 at his home in Memphis, Tennessee, officials said. He was 65.

Hayes, who won an Oscar in 1972 for Best Original Song for the theme from film "Shaft" (1971), was found unresponsive at his house by family members, Shelby county sheriff's spokesman Steve Shular revealed. Per Wmctv.com, his wife found him collapsed on the floor of a bedroom in their home next to a treadmill that was still running at about 1:00 P.M.

Hollywood mourns the death of Bernie Mac. The actor-comedian died in a Chicago-area hospital Saturday morning, August 9 at about 2 A.M. of complications from pneumonia, his publicist has confirmed. His wife Rhonda McCullough and daughter were with him until the very end of his life. He was 50.

Mac was hospitalized with pneumonia, which is not related to the autoimmune disorder called sarcoidosis he's been suffering since 20 years ago, early last week. His publicist previously told the press that despite reports to the contrary, the star "is responding well to treatment and will be released soon."

Katy Perry's second single "I Kissed a Girl" from latest album "One of the Boys" has been in lead spot of Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart for seven weeks. This record has then tied The Beatles to become the longest-running number one in the chart for her label Capitol Records.

Furthermore, if Katy's song can hang on for three more weeks, it will tie rapper Flo Rida's "Low", which has previously enjoyed a ten-week run in the hot spot of the chart.
