On July 11, Universal Pictures will be presenting movie lovers and Dark Horse Comics' fans with "Hellboy II: The Golden Army", the sequel to the 2004 supernatural action-thriller "Hellboy". Bringing the big red and gentle demon to the big screen for his second live action appearance, the studio have promised to deliver a more action-packed and badder movie and have teased fans with numerous footages from the movie.

To most people who have seen "Hellboy", the big red creature and those around him probably feel familiar. Still, like many other sequel movies, in "The Golden Army", he will be facing a band of new enemies. To refresh the fans' memory as well as to provide knowledge about the old and new characters in "The Golden Army", we have compiled the main characters of the heroes, the baddies and the creatures.

Following a scam showing two fake photos of Jamie Lynn Spears' baby daughter Maddie Briann Aldridge on a MySpace account came an official photo of the tot who was born on June 19. Jamie who gave birth to her first child at the age of 17 gave exclusive pictures of her and her baby as well as the coverage of the delivery to OK! magazine.

The exclusive photo shoot was accompanied by the interview done with the new mother. Jamie shared some details on the labor moments saying, "They'd told me it would be an eight- to 12-hour labor, and I was ready to have the baby in three to four hours. I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed."

On Tuesday, July 8, the 20th Century Fox held a special celebration for their latest comedy movie "Meet Dave". Marking the first screening of the Eddie Murphy-starring film, the studio rolled down red carpet in front of the Mann Village Theatre in Westwood, California for the film's world premiere.

Attending the special event were some of the cast ensemble, Elizabeth Banks, Gabrielle Union, Ed Helms, Scott Caan and Marc Blucas, and director Brian Robbins. One of the film's stars left unspotted on the special night was Murphy. The comedian could not attend the premiere because he is said to be shooting for his other movie "A Thousand Words".

Having yet confirming any details about their new album, Indie rock band Bloc Party already premiered the music video for their first single "Mercury". The clip was streamed on their official website at the same day as they perform their single for the first time on Radio 1 on July 7.

The new clip had a very weird plot as it pictures humans in animal heads like monkey and bull. It seems that the story tells about some monkey scientists that are creating a new species (a man body with a bull head) who finally becomes a president.

Alternative rock act Dashboard Confessional have just revealed more details about their upcoming studio album. Although, having yet to set the title for the new LP, the band stated to Billboard.com that the follow up to "The Shade of Poison Trees" would be dropped this fall.

Revealing the details about the upcoming record, the band's frontman Chris Carrabba told Billboard that the new LP "has a vibrance that is suited for summertime." Chris also added that the songs on the new album will sound "a bit poppy. But not in a 'pop' popular music way."

Apparently, people behind "Tropic Thunder" have found a new way to promote their latest comedy movie. In the latest promotional effort for the upcoming Ben Stiller's movie, DreamWorks/Paramount let out a trailer for the movie's mockumentary called "Rain of Madness".

Giving preview to what happen during the shooting of the fictional Vietnam War movie, the compilation of clips is filled with footages taken on the set and the craziness of the actors and filmmakers involved in the filming of the outrageous war movie. Through this trailer, viewers also can catch bits of "Tropic Thunder" scenes as well as interviews with the three main leading characters. Sarah McLachlan is set to give her dying fans some new music soon that will be featured on her upcoming yet-to-be-titled greatest hits album, which will be dropped on October 7. According to Spinner.com, the Canadian singer will spawn two new exclusive songs for the upcoming untitled LP.

Commenting about Sarah's new project, her manager Terry McBride wrote on his blog, "It is amazing to hear Sarah McLachlan's voice again. There is a purity to her magic as it's from a heart that is wide open and bare in its naked emotion." Promoting the upcoming songs on the record, Terry also added, "The melodies are addictive, the lyrics personal to each and everyone, and the delivery is both spine chilling and uplifting. "

Questions have been directed on the peculiar name given to the baby of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Sunday Rose, who saw the light for the first time on Monday, July 7. Providing the explanation is Nicole's father Dr. Anthony Kidman who said that that it's actually as simple as a homage to their Australian roots.

Anthony happened to read an article about Sunday Reed, an Australian who helped preserving the country's art and culture with her husband John Reed. "There was a lady named Sunday Reed who was a prominent patron of the arts in Victoria. I have read a bit about Sunday Reed and her husband John - she was a key mover and shaker in the arts around the beginning of the century," he told Australia's Daily Telegraph. "The name Sunday struck me as being a nice name for a woman, so my wife and I mentioned it."

Two years after dropping their latest album "The Pick of Destiny" in 2006, rock comedy band Tenacious D look set to release a new album soon. The news was revealed by one of the duo members Kyle Gass, who told Billboard.com, that he and his bandmate Jack Black have already begun the work for their new album.

Unfortunately, according to Kyle they have only finished about one to one and a half song only, and still don't have any clue on when the rock duo can finally release the new LP. "It's very challenging, we probably only have one to one and a half songs right now, and we probably need 12 to 15," Kyle explained. "It might take the rest of our lives, but I think it'll be worth waiting for."

After Bon Jovi, now 3 Doors Down are also set to contribute themselves for the upcoming Major League Baseball All-Star- Festivities. 3 Doors have been taped to perform as the opening act at the MLB's 2008 Home Run Derby on July 14 at the Yankee Stadium.

The rockers will be playing two songs at the annual event, held just before the All-Star game on July 15, which are "It's Not My Time" and "Kryptonite". One song from the band and also the whole event will be aired Live by ESPN. Meanwhile, the tickets to watch the event along with the band's special performance reportedly have already sold out.

Lindsay Lohan may not open up about her lesbian relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson, but more news keep coming in to give stronger idea on their romance. The latest one from Mirror.co.uk suggests that Lindsay has received a diamond ring that costs Sam 11,000 pounds.

"Sam took Lindsay shopping to celebrate her 22nd birthday," a source told Mirror. "Although Lindsay is the major breadwinner, Sam has her own money and is very proud." However, the Cartier ring is not necessarily an engagement of the two yet. "It's not an engagement ring - simply a token of her commitment. Two young singers Jesse McCartney and Jordin Sparks are setting themselves up to embark on a tour together this summer. The popstars will be joining forces for 16-dates of North America leg called "Jesse & Jordin Live" tour which will start on August 5 in Sacramento, California.

Both Jesse and Jordin are excited with the tour plan and praise each other a lot. Though many have speculated that the first trailer of the forthcoming "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" maybe coming out with the theatrical release of "The Dark Knight" on July 18, it has now been confirmed that fans have to wait longer to get first glimpses of the sixth "Harry Potter" movie installment.

With news of Quentin Tarantino throwing his "Inglourious Basterds" script to four major studios buzzing around, another interesting report came out. Words are coming out that the man behind "Kill Bill" has opened the talks with acclaimed actor Brad Pitt to star in the action drama.

The confirmation of the report has been broken out first by Deadline Hollywood Daily's Nikki Finke on July 8. Still, up to date no further details on the matter apart from the talks have been shed. If Pitt indeed joins Tarantino in his latest feature film project, it would be the "Babel" star's second film project connected to the renowned filmmaker. His first was the 1993 crime drama "True Romance" which was scripted by Tarantino.

Kate Moss and Jamie Hince's love journey apparently only lasts 10 months. Reports are saying that the couple who has moved in together, has decided to walk in different directions after he was spotted lugging out his belongings from her London house.

British tabloid Mirror revealed exclusively that an argument has occurred between the two on Saturday, July 5, causing them to blow out of proportion and decide to leave each other. And, throughout those period of time, the reports proved to be misleading putting fans in great disappointments. But, now, fans can rejoice as a number of Two Face's pictures leaked out.

Appeared to be cut out directly from the movie, the images display the horrible look of District Attorney Harvey Dent after half of his face was disfigured. Three of four photos expose Dent laying on hospital bed with a gruesome face while Joker stands beside him admiring his work on Dent. Previous news about Madonna and Britney Spears possible collaboration on the legendary diva's "Sticky & Sweet" tour are not all true. After recently being reported that Britney will shoot a video clip for the "Ray of Light" singer's tour backdrop and also joins her on stage, new confirmation comes from both singers' representatives saying that Britney will only shoot a video and won't be touring with her.

Revealing the news in a statement, Britney's manager said, "Britney's doing a video piece this week for Madonna's new tour." Meanwhile, Madonna's representative Liz Rudolph also confirmed that the "Toxic" singer is indeed shooting a footage that will be featured on the multi talented singer's tour but still kept a secret about the details of the clip. "There is footage being shot of Britney some time this week in conjunction with Madonna's upcoming (Sticky & Sweet) tour That is all the information I have available. The rest is 'a secret,'" Liz said.

Finally, a name is revealed for the newborn son of Matthew McConaughey and model girlfriend Camila Alves. To OK! the "Sahara" actor proudly revealed the baby who was born on Monday July 7 is called Levi Alves McConaughey.

On the reason he chooses Levi as the first name, Matthew explained, "Levi was another name for the apostle Matthew in The Bible. They were, in fact, two names for the same person." He added that there is also another factor behind that. "Our son was born at 6:22 pm, and this particular time represents my favorite verse in the book of Matthew in The Bible: 'If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light.'"

On Tuesday, July 8, Walt Disney Pictures has finally given fans a clue to when they can enjoy "HSM3" first real look.

Making an official announcement of the first "HSM3" trailer, the mouse house unveiled that they have planned to debut it on July 13, 2008 on Disney Channels Worldwide before it hits the Internet through Disney.com the next day on July 14 at 12:01 A.M. ET. It will be aired in selected countries, including U.S., Canada, Japan, U.K., France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, Southeast Asia, India, Taiwan, Brazil and Mexico among others.
