'Resident Evil' Star Heading to 'Perfect Getaway'

The heroine in "Resident Evil" franchise Milla Jovovich has been reported to be headlining another thriller film. According to Hollywood Reporter, the 32-year-old actress has been tapped to star alongside Kiele Sanchez, Timothy Olyphant and Steve Zahn in the MGM's upcoming action thriller "A Perfect Getaway".

Jovovich, who has appeared in Kurt Wimmer's 2006 science fiction "Ultraviolet", will be playing Zahn's new wife. Aside from this thriller film, the star of romantic comedy "You Stupid Man" has been reported to have recently finished shooting another thriller "Insanitarium". She will next join the Paul Verhoeven-directed film "Azazel".

Fergie's Beau to Woo Kristen Bell in 'Rome'

Josh Duhamel, the fiance of the Black Eyed Peas's singer Stacy Ferguson a.k.a Fergie, has reportedly been tapped to star in romantic comedy "When in Rome". According to Hollywood Reporter, the depicter of Danny McCoy in television series "Las Vegas" will play opposite Kristen Bell as the lead male character who happens to be Bell's love interest in the Disney's movie.

In the film from director/screenwriter Mark Steven Johnson, the 35-year-old Duhamel will be joined also with the star of "Napoleon Dynamite" Jon Heder, the co-star of Owen Wilson in "The Darjeeling Limited" Anjelica Huston and the bad guy in"Employee of the Month" Dax Shepard. Heder is set to portray a street magician who is also one of Bell's admirers, while Shepard and Huston will be playing an aspiring model and Bell's boss respectively.

Madonna's New Song Utilized as Japanese Drama Theme

Madonna is lending one of the tracks from her upcoming album, "Hard Candy", as the theme song of a Japanese drama series. Nobuhiro Nagai, the Corporate Strategy Division head of Fuji Television announced that the song "Miles Away" has been licensed as the tune for TV drama "Change" starring local heartthrob, Takuya Kimura.

"The program has been completely produced in-house and we are very glad to have Madonna involved in the project," Nagai said on Friday, March 21. He also said that Madonna has been impressed on the story line that sees Kimura's character being a small town elementary school teacher who is suddenly propelled into the position of prime minister of Japan.

'Rambo 5' to Be Filmed in Bulgaria?

As the fifth installment of the iconic action movie "Rambo" has been rumored to be developed, it was further reported that the shooting for "Rambo 5" is going to take place in one of the Southern European countries. According to Internet reports, the follow-up to the action film starring Sylvester Stallone will be heading to Bulgaria due to the low-cost filming there.

Despite reported to being shot in the former communist country, the fifth Rambo film will be set in the U.S. MovieHole.net claimed that the setting of the action film will be resembling a town in Arizona. "The street sets of Bulgaria that are getting the makeover, the same ones that were rented out and used in Van Damme's The Shepherd, will be doubling for Rambo's hometown, which is supposed to somewhere in Arizona," a source told the movie news site.

Soulja Boy Attacked by a 12-Year-Old Boy

A12-year-old boy was arrested for attacking Soulja Boy. The unidentified Bloomington, Illinois boy was taken into custody for allegedly throwing a rock through the windshield of Soulja Boy's tour bus Thursday night, March 20.

Soulja Boy performed Wednesday, March 19 at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum. The boy threw the rock at the rap star's bus at about 7:40 P.M. outside the Hampton Inn West, 906 Maple Hill Road, it has been claimed.

Rappers Master P and Lil' Romeo to Star in Horror Film

The hip-hop artist Master P and his rapper son Lil' Romeo are going to team up once again. However, this time the father-and son duo won't be making music together, instead they were reported to be starring opposite each other in a forthcoming horror film "The Pig People".

According to SOHH.com, 38-year-old P whose real name is Percy Miller has been set to portray the film's villain, while Romeo will be playing TJ, one of the college kids who investigate the pig people myth. On playing for the horror film, the younger Miller commented, "I've never done a horror movie before. It's a different kind of acting and the challenge is really allowing me to take my game to the next level. We're gonna make the audience jump out of their seats with this."

Rapper Eve Got Caught Up in Girl Fight

Eve got caught up in a girl fight outside the Roosevelt Hotel on Thursday night, March 20. No arrest has been made though.

The female rapper, as reported by the NY Post, "got physical ... one of the girls Eve was yelling at was pushed down a flight of stairs either by Eve or one of her posse, but they calmed her down and cops weren't called." No words just yet from the singer-actress herself or her people about the fight.

Will Smith Tackling 'Last Pharaoh'?

Will Smith, the Academy Award-nominated actor for his exceptional portrayal of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali in "Ali", has been reported to be eyeing a new feature film project entitled "The Last Pharaoh". According to Sun Media, the 39-year-old actor has obtained the script to the epic-Egyptian-film project through his production company Overbrook Entertaiment.

To the publication, Chris Hauty, the "Never Back Down" screenwriter who is said to be giving the finishing touch to the script written by Carl Franklin revealed that the star of blockbuster movie "I Am Legend" has put his interest to the script. "It's an open writing assignment from Will's company," he explained. "It's something he's taken a big interest in." Additionally, it has yet to be known whether Smith will star in the film or not.

Cover Art: Clay Aiken's 'On My Way Here'

As previously reported, Clay Aiken is set to release his sophomore effort on May 6 under the title "On My Way Here". The American Idol alumni has also outed the cover art of the album, featuring him simply photographed from the side.

"On My Way Here" will be the first original materials from Aiken in five years since the 2003 "Measure of a Man". Very few details have been released on this album other than that it will be produced by Kipper and include a title track plus a song called "Ashes".

Aging but still agile, Jamie Lee Curtis went shirtless to pose for AARP (American Associated Of Retired Persons) The Magazine. The actress, who was initially known as a "scream queen" because of her starring roles in many horror films early in her career, is on the cover of the May-June issue of the publication in a bid to help promote healthier body images for older women.

Curtis, who will turn 50 by November later this year, is shown in the magazine cover exposing her shoulders in a swimming pool and sporting gray hair. She told AARP that she wants to convince women that they will be their most beautiful if they take care of their bodies and age naturally.

Boston's First Outing Post Brad Delp's Death

With the frontman slot being empty following the death of Brad Delp in March last year, the remaining members of rock band Boston were forced to recruit a new one. Not only did the rock act find a replacement in former Stryper vocalist Michael Sweet, they have also decided to enlarge the clan with the addition of their fan Tommy DeCarlo.

Together with Sweet and DeCarlo, the band that are now comprised of Tom Scholz, Gary Pihl, Kimberley Dahme, and Jeff Neal will embark on a U.S. tour starting on June 6 in Ontario. This would be the first outing for the band since Delp's death and dates are still being mapped out with the latest being August 15 in Atlantic City, N.J.

Linkin Park Shot Last 'Midnight' Video and Speak on Tour

Linkin Park will pull "Leave Out All the Rest" as the fifth and last single off their 2007 album "Minutes to Midnight". The rock band in fact have shot the music video in Van Nuys, California last weekend with their DJ Joseph Hahn as the director.

According to a report on MTV, the new video will show the members of Linkin Park living everyday life on a futuristic flight vessel that floats in outer space. "It was random, out of nowhere, and it fit the song perfectly," said MC Mike Shinoda. "I really like this video, because it's different from everything else he's done with us before. It's this sci-fi thing, which is fun. We've never really done that, and when I walked onto the set, I thought it looked like 'Battlestar Galactica.' "

'Horton' Still Hears Box Office Champion!

The 20th Century Fox's animation "Horton Hears a Who!" still reigned supreme on the North American weekend box office on its second week previewing. According to studio estimates on Sunday, March 23, the film featuring the voices of comedians Jim Carrey and Steve Carell has taken in approximately $24.6 million and became the first film of the year to stay on top for two weeks straight.

Despite experiencing a 45.4% drop in sales if compared to last weekend, the film about an elephant who hears a cry of help from a speck of dust has pulled in the total of about $86 million. The Dr. Seuss' adapted movie also managed to stay on top though faced with new strong contenders, including Tyler Perry's "Meet the Browns" and Owen Wilson's "Drillbit Taylor".

Britney Spears' Sitcom Wardrobes Auctioned Off to Benefit Environmental Organization

Britney Spears' clothes are up for grabs. At least six items of clothing from the pop star's wardrobe on CBS' "How I Met Your Mother" will be auctioned off to benefit the environmental organization Natural Resources Defense Council, according to the Associated Press.

The online auction is sponsored by CBS and 20th Century Fox Television, which produces the show. Among the items on sale are a navy print Juicy Couture dress, a yellow Nannette Lepore dress and a cream Nannette Lepore cardigan with blue flower details.

Jason Rae, Husband of Corinne Bailey Rae, Found Dead of Suspected Drug Overdose

Jason Rae, the musician-husband of soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae, was found dead Saturday, March 22 in a London flat of a suspected drugs overdose. He was 31.

The body of Jason Rae, according to West Yorkshire police, was discovered in an apartment in the Hyde Park area of Leeds in northern England. West Yorkshire Police said that a 32-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs. He was later released on bail pending further inquiries.
