Sued, Kid Rock With His 'So Hot' Single

Kid Rock has just got one more exposure on his #1 album 'Rock N Roll Jesus', the infamous one. The rapper is now sued by a man from Kentucky for using his material on the album's first single 'So Hot'.

According to TMZ, Maurice Foreman is seeking the help from Steppin' Out's Chaunce Hayden to search for a representative for him. Whether it will be a case or not, Foreman claimed Rock's song is way similar to his 'Slow Death' song that was claimed copyrighted.

The world's famous El Capitan Theater in Hollywood displayed a blinding light yesterday, October 24, 2007 as packs of stars merged together to celebrate the world premiere for Touchstone Pictures' "Dan in Real Life."

Male lead Steve Carell was noted flashing friendly smile as he arrived on the scene to walk down the red carpet, dressed in dark suit and gray shirt minus tie. Joined the funnyman were other cast members that included Dane Cook, Juliette Binoche, Marlene Lawston, and Brittany Robertson with director Peter Hedges and singer/songwriter Sondre Lerche, who worked on the original music for the flick, completing the lineup.

Australian rock band Jet is calling a time out in their music career, a year after they released the album 'Shine On'. The indefinite hiatus was cited by drummer and vocalist Chris Cester as "well earned time off" so that each member can concentrate on their personal life.

Cester wrote on the band's MySpace page: "After touring for, well, ever, for Shine On, we sat ourselves down and realized that with all the time we have spent away from home, Jet could finally use some down time."

On his blog, Jackie revealed that he spent three hours in a Beijing, China studio to get the song done. It was composed by Silver Bear Award recipient Peter Kam who said that an English version may be recorded.

Christina and her record label executive husband Jordan Bratman, according to In Touch Weekly, already had a baby shower with friends and family on October 20th in Malibu. No details on the names of the people attending the event though.

It's time to wear the police badge again for Jamie Foxx after doing so in "Miami Vice." The Oscar winner has just been reported by Variety to about topline a new crime thriller feature entitled "The Zebra Murders: A Season of Killing, Racial Madness, and Civil Rights" as well as to produce via his Foxx-King Entertainment.

Based on Prentice Earl Sanders and Bennett Cohen's 2006 book, project chronicles the series of racially motivated serial killings - black on white - that took place in San Francisco from 1973 until 1974. Foxx is said to play Sanders, one of two black police detectives who headed the team cracking the case while also fighting harassment within the police department.
