Big Helming Names Team for "Tintin" Series

Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, The picture
Well, this probably is the dream team moviegoers ever wish to see on. Two acclaimed behind-the-camera figures, none other than Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson, have joined forces together to bring up the famous Belgian comic books "The Adventures of Tintin" to the silver screen.

Variety has reported that the two filmmakers are both set to direct and produce three back-to-back features based on the series at DreamWorks' pit where the projects will be made in full digital 3-D using performance capture technology. Jackson's WETA Digital even has produced a 20-minute test reel bringing to life the characters, created by George Remi who wrote under the pen name of Herge.

LeToya Luckett Under Warner/Chappell Music

Grammy award winning LeToya Luckett has signed a mutual deal with Warner/Chappell Music whereby the label has the right to worldwide publishing of her work. The R&B crooner will have her own catalogue for all of her previous works including debut album "LeToya" as well as her future projects.

"LeToya has emerged as a powerhouse solo artist who is not only a remarkable singer and performer, but an outstanding songwriter as well," Urban Music VP Chris Hicks said. "We are very excited to have such a great talent join the Warner/Chappell family." LeToya in return expressed her enthusiasm to work with the company and is looking forward to work with their "incredible lineup of Urban songwriters and producers."

Bright cast members of "Hairspray" are set to make their way down to the small screen.

Yes, the starry lineup, consisting of John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer, Queen Latifah, Christopher Walken, Nikki Blonsky, Zac Efron, and Elijah Kelly, will all be featured on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" this Wednesday, May 16 in which they will talk with host Oprah Winfrey about the musical feature.

Eve 'Singing' in New Album, Sick of Lyrics Criticism

Apart from the DUI case, there is something new about rapper Eve. Her upcoming album "Here I Am" can be said a more subdued version compared to the previous ones. She can actually be heard 'singing' in a bunch of songs.

Taking the example of Pharrell Williams-produced track "All Night Long", Eve said that she only managed to slip in 8 bars of rap. Initially, the song did not work in her favor for fear that she wouldn't sing it well onstage.

ZZ Top, In the First Stage Towards New Album

Reports on blues rock band ZZ Top's new album is coming sooner than expected. After announcing their departure from RCA Records and their leave from Lone Wolf Management in late 2006, people thought that it would be another long journey before they complete the 15th studio album. Indeed, there are about 50 songs readily available.

Bassist Dusty Hill said that ideas are streaming down their spine but none has made the cut yet. "As soon as we can write it, put it down and make a deal, but I don't really know how long that takes," he said. "We've come up with about 50 of them so I hesitate to even bring them up."

Keep leaking people with the news on his major third release, Kanye West is now ready to announce a specific release date. "Graduation" will arrive in shelves on September 18 according to his Def Jam label.

As for the rumor on Coldplay's Chris Martin's involvement in this album, it is confirmed true. His work will be featured in the title track and another song titled "Homecoming". Four other tentative songs are "Stronger", "Can't Tell Me Nothing" (featuring Young Jeezy), "Bittersweet" (featuring John Mayer & Jessica Simpson) and "Once Upon" (featuring Beyonce Knowles).

Filmmakers of "The Great Buck Howard" are adding an unusual member in the flick's cast list. The spokesperson of rock band Clap Your Hands Say Yeah has confirmed that all personnel of this Brooklyn-based troupe are set to appear in the drama and currently in Hollywood to film their scenes in the project.

Though complete details have not been revealed, the members, consisting of Alec Ounsworth, Lee Sargent, Robbie Guertin, Tyler Sargent, and Sean Greenhalgh, are said to play themselves in the movie for sure. Apart from their inclusion in the lineup, the quintet has already written a number of songs for the flick, which is expected to be released this autumn.

The Rolling Stones Adds Poland in European Leg

Poland will get the chance to see The Rolling Stones again this year as the band adds an extra date within their European jaunt. This Stone's visit in Poland will be the first time in 9 years.

The date is set on July 25 and the venue is confirmed at Warsaw's Slzewiec Hippodrome. They are supposed to play in Ukaraine that day but it has been cancelled due to unknown reason. The band however, will still make it to the rest of the dates which is started with Belgium's gig on June 5.

Already had "Inside Man" star Chiwetel Ejiofor to topline, the project centers on a Jiu-jitsu master who loses his way when he falls into the movie business. Before long he is conned into using his skills in a couple of ultimate fighting matches. Allen reportedly will play a down-on-his-luck action star that meets the master after getting his behind handed to him in a street fight.

Judge Granted Sandra Bullock a Three-Year Restraining Order Against Stalker

Sandra Bullock can live far from fear now that she's won a restraining against an obsessed fan who allegedly tried to kill her husband Jesse G. James at her California home last month.

Orange County Superior Court Judge, found "clear and convincing evidence" of stalking, has on Friday May 11th issued a three-year restraining order, barring Valentine from contacting or coming within 500 yards of Bullock, James or his three children. The judge also gave the couple permission to record phone calls or videotape Valentine if she violates the order.

Sylvester Stallone pleaded guilty Tuesday May 8th to bringing vials of banned human growth hormone into Australia during a trip to promote his new film, "Rocky Balboa."

The actor's lawyers, entered the plea before Sydney's Darling Center Local Court on behalf of Stallone, explained that Stallone admitted to two charges of possessing the body-building drugs in his luggage when he arrived at Sydney airport from the United States on February 16th.
