The set of "Mission: Impossible 3" has been filled with taut nerves as its leading star, Tom Cruise, insisted to carry out his own stunts which unquestionably terrified the all the people on the spot. Refusing to use a stunt double for the dangerous high falls scene in the film, Cruise's determination surely has scared the legendary stunt coordinator Vic Armstrong, who is working on the film with him. "He did a 70-foot fall for us last week," so said Armstrong to Total Film magazine. "He's amazing. He did about seven takes. Absolutely terrifies me-I can see the headlines! What a way to finish a career."

An Apparel Feud in Duff's Family

Another problem popped up in Hilary Duff's life as her mother, Susan Duff, is being sued for breach of contract by Ntd Apparel. The Canadian clothing company placed a multi-million dollar lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court this week, accusing Susan along with her family's entertainment company, Rafter H, of violating an exclusive merchandising agreement for her daughter's fashion line by dealing another agreement with rival retail firms. New York Daily News reported that Rafter H considered the suit was "without merit" and plans to hit back Ntd with an allegation of using low-quality goods in its collections for Hilary. What a ferocious fight.

Foxx Aims to Land Punch on Tyson

TV and press interviews are likely to be the effective punch to get another biopic idea off the ground, so Jamie Foxx probably has thought. Revealed his intention to portray notorious boxer Mike Tyson, the Oscar winner hopes that his goal will be accomplished by talking frequently to the media about a film focusing on the life of this sensational fighter. "I think the Mike Tyson story is the most interesting thing," he told Moviehole.net. "Nobody knows the stuff that I know, the stuff that I found out. It would blow your mind."

Waters Joined by Shaiman to Make Bob

After Mark Waters gave his agreement to direct Disney's "Bob the Musical", the comedy feature satisfyingly added another backup of none other than the Tony-winning composer-lyricist, Marc Shaiman. Handling all the musical duties on the film, Sharman has showed his interest to join the project as he said: "Once I read the script, I felt I had to do it. I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if someone else did it. "It's a very sweet valentine to musicals, but (it) sends them up at the same time," he added.

Scott Sticks to "Cockblocker"

Partnered with MTV Films, Paramount Pictures is slated to produce another comedy flick with Seann William Scott and Topher Grace as its stars. Recklessly entitled "Cockblocker", the film follows the story of a young man, played by Grace, who meets his dream girl, but later finds out that she still closely befriends her ex-boyfriend, portrayed by Scott. Paramount is reported to have beaten out three other studios for this project in which Greg Coolidge is about to write the script and plans to start the shooting next year.

Hopkins Gets Fractured

Marking his return to the thriller genre, veteran actor Anthony Hopkins has confirmed to take part in Gregory Hoblit's "Fracture", starring alongside "The Notebook" thespian, Ryan Gosling. Based on the script of Daniel Pyne and Glenn Gers, the film focuses on the story of an assistant district attorney who is later involved in a cat-and-mouse game with an older man who tried to murder his wife.

Was Kevin Federline actually still together with Shar Jackson when he began dating Britney Spears last year? According to the "Moesha" star who now is busy working on an album, the answer is definitely "yes." In a new interview, she revealed that the truth about this matter came out after he flew abroad for a commercial which later turned out to be quite a long trip with Spears.

Despite their break-up, Jackson confirmed that she and Federline remain good friends, but she does not want any child support from him at all. "Hell no. I am a very, very independent woman, OK? If I wanted child support that's an easy procedure," she remarked. "All I want from Kevin is his time with his children. That's it, bottom line."

Clooney Caused London Ruckus

Maybe it's not a good and lucky night in London for George Clooney as a British newspaper reported him of causing a pushing fight with a security guard at a bar in London's West End named Meza. The Evening Standard stated that the 44-years-old actor was furious after he was left unattended at the club's back entrance by a member of the bar's security in his effort to avoid paparazzi.

"The security guard was walking down the alley and George screamed at him, 'Come back here,' and then he said, 'I am going to f---ing have you!' " A witness said as quoted by the newspaper. However, after Clooney's former girlfriend, Lisa Snowdon, got involved, he decided to back away from the confrontation and quickly left the scene by car.

Sanz Honored Latin Grammy for Record of the Year

It's Record of the Year honor that finally fell down into the hands of Alejandro Sanz at the Sixth Annual Latin Grammy Awards held on Thursday. Also taking home a Grammy for Best Song, he was not only the Mexican music artist who received the awards for rock band Molotov managed to grab one for Best Rock Album by a Duo or Group with Con Todo Respeto. However, it's Colombian rocker Juanes who showed his widest smile as he successfully collected three awards of Best Rock Solo Vocal Album, Rock Song, and Video.

Taking place at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium, this event also bestowed its awards in the rest categories to, among others, Italian singer Laura Pausini, Spanish singer-songwriter Bebe, Marc Anthony, Juan Luis Guerra, and Obie Bermudez.

Baldwin Pursues the Guide

Adding one more big screen production in his resume, Alec Baldwin is fixed to star opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar in "The Girls' Guide to Hunting and Fishing." The actor will portray a playboy who attracts a New York book editor, played by Gellar, so that she has to make choice between him and her college boyfriend.

Adapted from two short stories in Melissa Bank's best-selling book of the same title, the movie is directed by Marc Klein, who also writes the script, under Odd Lot Entertainment.
