Carson's Microphone Sells for $50,787

TV legend Johnny Carson's microphone has been snatched by an anonymous bidder, offering it at $50,787. The microphone, which was saved from a trash bin two decades ago by the star chief boom operator Stan Sweeney, was taken out of retirement Friday April 22, 2005, to mark the final session of a two-day auction of entertainment memorabilia.

RHCP 'Free' Tickets are Being Sold

About 35,000 free tickets for Red Hot Chili Peppers and Weezer concert; scheduled July 2 in a parking lot near the Las Vegas Convention Center; made available online through a ticket service on Monday by Event promoter Clear Channel Entertainment Properties, have been sold by traders through eBay auctions at prices that by Thursday ranged from $25 and $70 per ticket.

The film is said to be set in a magical toy store and focused on the themes of growing up and believing in the unbelievable.

Frankie J's Second CD

Mexican-born singer and songwriter Frankie J has outed his second CD dubbed "The One" which, after dropped to No. 15 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, soon debuted at number 3, sold almost 300,000 copies. Even more, the album has also spawned the single hit "Obsession" which is currently at No. 3 on the Billboard chart.

Brook Goes for FHM's World's Sexiest Woman

English actress and model Kelly Brook has topped the list on Britain's FHM magazine's poll of the world's sexiest women. The beauty was followed close behind by Cheryl Tweedy at number 2, Angelina Jolie at third, Michelle Ryan at fourth, and Elisha Cuthbert at number 5. Last year's winner Britney Spears, to add the list, has slipped to number six. Other top ten beauties includes Beyonce Knowles at number nine and Charlotte Church at number ten.

Al Pacino to Reprise Role in a Videogame Version

Movie hunk Al Pacino has agreed to reprise his legendary role as drugged-out coke dealer Tony Montana in a videogame version of Brian De Palma's knockout 1983 gangster flick "Scarface." The actor is said will lend his affinity to Scarface: The World Is Yours, which will feature an all-star list of voice talent, including Steven Bauer, Robert Loggia, Jay Mohr, Cheech Marin, Robert Davi, Miguel Sandoval, Michael Rapaport, and Michael York.
