Jameson and Publisher in Legal Tussle Over TV Show

Jenna Jameson and her best-selling book, "How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale" publisher Judith Regan are now in court battle over television deal. The sex kitten and the powerful publisher have had a deal last spring, but now come to a serious disagreement about its details.

The problem occurs when Jenna is working on a reality TV show with A&E, and Judith thinks her contract with the star has ended, but no does with Jenna who claims to get the TV deal before her deal with Judith. Per Celebrity Justice, it is reported that Jenna thought Judith would be in charge of a TV deal with FOX, which never materialized. On the other hand, Judith thinks Jenna has violated her contract by negotiating the A&E deal without her.

Lopez Appreciates A More Simple Life

Latin actress Jennifer Lopez has changed alot. Yesterday she said she wanted to go on for politics and today she says she's really want to simplify her life. And the truth is; she meant it. The actress really wants living a more simple life as she's been selling her collection of cars and trading in her lavish properties for smaller homes.

Why? "I want to go back to something simpler," that's her answer. It's not true that she sells her Los Angeles and Miami properties for less grand homes to erase memories of her failed engagement to Ben Affleck. What's true is because she's developed a new appreciation for a more simple life and she's so intend to do so. That's all.

Sheen & Hoper to Mark James Dean Fest

Martin Sheen and Dennis Hoper are planning to attend the 50th anniversary of the death of James Dean, scheduled June 3-5 at the airport in Marion, about 60 miles northeast of Indianapolis. Sheen, who admits, has personally been inspired to become an actor after watching Dean's performance in the film "East of Eden," will introduce his narrated American premiere of a documentary on Dean's life, "James Dean: Forever Young."

To mark the fest there will also Dean's three movies, "Giant," "East of Eden" and "Rebel Without a Cause," all of which will be introduced by actors who co-starred with Dean.

Gibson to Release Pope Movie

The deeply religious actor/director Mel Gibson is reported planning to make a movie about the Pope John Paul II who died this month at 84 years age. For the sake of the planned film, the movie star has purposely sent a film crew to the Vatican City on Friday April 8, 2005, to capture crowd scenes at the late pontiff's funeral for future use, American website Pagesix.Com mentioned.

Swank & Lowe Set for a Celebrity Charades Show

Actress Hilary Swank and actor husband Chad Lowe are set to turn their favourite parlor game into a new TV series after selling their idea for a celebrity charades show to cable network AMC. How will the charades work? According to trade magazine Hollywood Reporter, 10 celebrities will compete against each other in a game of movie-themed charades, with each star playing to raise money for his or her chosen charity. Moreover, Each episode of the show will also feature the celebrities having dinner and mingling between rounds to allow viewers to get to know them personally.

Six 30-minute episodes set to air on five consecutive nights beginning on June 20, 2005, will feature the couple and fans of the silent-clue game like Philip Seymour Hoffman, Rosie Perez and movie maker Peter Bogdanovich. Lowe himself will co-host the show and is executive producing the series with Swank.

Aniston Blames Childhood Trauma for her Divorce

Jennifer Aniston blames her childhood trauma, mainly on her parents' divorce, to take part in her marriage split. The 36-year-old actress admits her parents' divorce has overshadowed her marriage to Brad Pitt, in which it causes the feeling of "fear, mistrust, doubt and insecurities" during her relationship with Pitt, which at the end resulted in a divorce.

Further Aniston claims its dificult for her and others whose parents split to believe in eternal and happy marriage, because of which she openly admits her negative attitude also plays a part in ruining her romance with Pitt. The actress was even labeled 'The Leaker' by Pitt, because she cried so much.

Faith Evans, Billboard Chart's Queen

It's so close, then Faith Evans will just lead this week Billboard album chart, beaten 50 Cent who has already on top for a five-consecutive week. Evan's First Lady has been sold of more than 157,000 during its first week of release, just 7,000 copies less than 50 Cent's The Massacre which scored sales more than 165,000, securing the rapper first-place position for the sixth time. The winner on the third place is Beck's Guero, who was on the second last week. After Beck is the 18th edition of the popular Now That's What I Call Music! franchise, featuring contributions from the likes of U2, Chingy, Nelly, Hoobastank and Destiny's Child.

At number five is R&B quartet 112's Pleasure & Pain, coming behind is rapper Will Smith's Lost and Found. At #7 on the chart are pop-punk patriarchs Green Day, with American Idiot recording just under 59,000 scans. In the 8th place is rapper Beanie Sigel's The B.Coming. Finishing at #9 is rock-and-roll princess Lisa Marie Presley with Now What and on the 10th position is Jack Johnson's In Between Dreams, which recorded sixth-week sales of close to 55,000.

Joaquin Phoenix to Rehab

Actor Joaquin Phoenix has checked into a rehabilitation facility to deal with his alcohol abuse problems, because of which he feels uncomfortable with the way he lives his life. Thus, the 30-year-old star voluntarily entered an undisclosed rehab facility two weeks ago as he felt the courage to deal with his disease and hoped it will encourage others with the same problem to get help as well.

Carter Pleaded not Guilty Over Two DUI Charges

Boyband Backstreet Boy member Nick Carter was pleaded not guilty over two drunken driving-related charges Wednesday April 13, 2005, in an Orange County, California. Spokesman for the Orange County District Attorney's Office explained the plea was actually phoned in by Nick's lawyer.

Since the charges, one for driving under the influence and the other for driving with a blood-alcohol level over 0.08, were misdemeanors, the boy was not required to show for the arraignment. Commenting the final decision, Nick publicist Juliette Harris said the star "deeply regrets the incident. He was actually on doctor-prescribed medication and was unaware of its interaction possibilities."
